SUCCESS OF MILITARY OPERATIONS
SINKS BLACK TIGER DAY TO A NON-EVENT

In the dark period of legally Eelamisation of Northern and Eastern
provinces of Sri Lanka under the treacherous Ranil Wickremasinghe regime
the Black Tiger Day, July 5th was a great event of celebrity. In 2003
the docile Sri Lankan government of that time even facilitated holding
this vile event on a grand scale in the Districts of Trincomalee, Battialoa
and Vavuniya other than many main towns in the Northern Province, including
Jaffna. This is an event which celebrates the brutal murder of 43 Sri
Lankan soldiers by the first suicide mission carried out by the terrorists.
With the liberation of East and near decimation and detention of fascist
tiger terrorists to pockets of Wanni jungles and to the exclusive Kilinochchi,
and Mullativu districts gifted to them by Ranil Wickremasinghe, the
megalomaniac fascist leader was compelled to commemorate the event this
year by lighting the so-called “flame of sacrifice” at a hidden
location in Vanni.
Suicide terrorism has become a horrendous global phenomenon afflicting
and threatening the people all over the world. It transcends all distinctions
of social status, nationalities and national boundaries and indiscriminately
kills and maims many innocents and destroys millions worth of properties
and national monuments. Literature on Suicide terrorism traces its origin
to ancient Zealots and the Assassins of the medieval ages and the causes
for suicide terrorism have been focussed mainly on 3 R’s such as
Revenge, Renown and Reaction.
The fascist Tiger Terrorist outfit, which Britain graded this week
as the world’s 2nd ruthless terrorist organisation, next to Al
Qaida, has emerged as the world’s leading and the most dreaded
terrorist organisation, which deploys suicide terrorism as a formidable
weapon. The Tiger Terrorists have sophisticated suicide terrorism by
inventing many techniques, which include sophisticated suicide kits,
suicide bras, remote controlled vehicle bombs and explosive laden boats.
Many terrorist organisations including Al Qaida operatives in Iraq,
Afganistan, Lebanon and Palestine have copied and modified the suicide
terrorist technology invented by the Tiger Terrorists and have successfully
used and continue to deploy them against civilian and military targets.
Suicide Terrorism by the Tiger Terrorists started in 1987 with the
terrorist named Miller driving an explosives laden truck into the Nelliady
Army Camp on 5th July that year, in which 43 soldiers were killed, due
to the explosion caused by blowing up of the truck. As per reports from
the terrorist sources, 322 Black Tigers have been killed in action,
since this event. Leaders of the terrorist outfit describe suicide terrorists,
the Black Tigers as an indispensable arsenal. It has become a formidable
weapon of their arsenal and the day is commemorated on a grand scale
by the terrorists erecting pandals in the main towns and organising
other propaganda events. There is a separate wing in the terrorist establishment
for the Black Tiger suicide terrorists. Those who sacrifice their life
in these suicide missions are honoured by the terrorist leadership as
“Mahaveers” (The Great Heroes) and a tombstone is erected
in a special cemetery dedicated for them. The families of these suicide
terrorists are also honoured as Mahaveer families.
In an interview with Associated Press last year (05.07.2006), Yogaratname
Yogi speaking on behalf of the leadership justified use of Suicide Terrorism
and said "There are many groups in the world using suicide bombers
but the methods of our Black Tigers are more effective and incredible.”.
He ridiculed the countries accusing them for using Suicide Terrorism
saying that many countries in the world fear Black Tigers. He said that
they are fearful that other groups may emulate them, these countries
ridicule the cadres and are bent on creating a bad opinion against them.”
He said that "War itself is violent. There are no soft methods
in it. Weren't bombs made to blow up and kill men? So why there is such
a cry if only a man becomes a human bomb?" he queried.
Fascist Tiger Terrorists is only terrorist outfit in the world responsible
for the brutal murder of 2 Heads of State, several Ministers of the
Government and many politicians and personalities of the very community
which it fraudulently claims to represent and fighting for upholding
their rights. Black Tigers are responsible for carrying out all these
murders. Other than the high ranking personalities these Black Tigers
have carried out destruction of economic targets causing murder and
mayhem to thousands of innocent civilians who happened to be in such
locations accidentally. Bombing of the Central Bank Building, and Sri
Lanka’s International Airport are two such prime targets. Further
this Unit has successfully carried out a series of murders targeting
Sri Lankas Intelligence Unit officers following divulgence of their
identities by treacherous politicians. Maj. Gen. :Parami Kulatunge killed
on 26th June last year was the last such military officer killed by
the Black Tigers.
There are many instances in which the dedicated and determined Sri
Lankan forces have thwarted Black Tiger attempts to cause destruction
of economic targets and high ranking personalities and politicians.
Attacks on Galle and Colombo harbours, ships transporting off-duty soldiers,
attempts to murder the Army Commander and the Defence Secretary and
capture of several explosive laden trucks are some of the recent such
attempts of Black Tigers thwarted by our gallant security personnel.
Many of the successful as well as unsuccessful Black Tigers attempts
in Colombo and its suburbs are reported to have been carried out by
Black Tigers resident in Colombo lodges and by remaining as domestic
hands in the residences of some politicians.
The despicable events the terrorist outfits hold in commemoration of
their dead Black Tigers annually were held on an unprecedented grand
scale during the treacherous Ranil Wickremasinghe government period
in 2003 after signing the ignominious CFA. In that year these events
were held all over the Northern and Eastern provinces and government
officials were forced to facilitate such events, and even mobile and
immobile government properties were used.
The main event in that year was held at Nelliyadi where the Sri Lankan
soldiers were murdered by the truck bomb attack. The statue of the murderous
terrorist was declared open garlanding it by his mother. The main event
of the Batticaloa-Ampara District was held at Valachchenai – Pesalai
playgrounds. In Trincomalee, leading citizens, principals of schools,
teachers, students and the public were maid to pay homage to the dead
Black Tigers. Main functions were held in Sampur where they erected
a mausoleum for the Black Tigers. In Vavuniya, Businesses were ordered
to close at 1 pm as a mark of respect. In schools and in several business
premises students and workers were made to pay respect to black tiger
memorial photos sprinkling flower petals.
There are no reports of this despicable event held this year in the
Eastern Province, in which Sampur, Vaharrai, Muttur East, and Valachchenai
were main event locations in the previous years. Our gallant soldiers
have successfully liberated all these locations from terrorist occupation.
Due to liberation of the Eastern Province and under the dominance of
our forces in many other areas, the event which happened to be a great
day of celebration in the terrorist calendar has lost all its fascination
and thereby forcing to hold it as a clandestine event in an undisclosed
Vanni location for the megalomaniac leader to light what they call the
“flame of sacrifice” and address a handful of black tigers.
This itself is a monumental demonstration of the remarkable success
of the government military operations amidst criticism of it as futile
and an unaccomplishable exercise by terrorist elements, vested interests
and reactionary politicians. Will this be the last occasion for the
terrorist leader to hold this despicable event?
