Terrorist fund raising in EU, its effects and need for compensation

Terrorist fund raising in EU countries have caused HR abuses in Sri Lanka, death and destruction in Sri Lanka and damage to economy of Sri Lanka.

Terrorist fundraising in EU countries,
death and destruction to Sri Lanka due to fund raising in EU countries,
Compensation of victims in Sri Lanka due to terrorist money raised in EU,
Damage to economy of Sri Lanka,
Discrimination to Sinhalese, Muslims and other communities due to favouritism shown to Tamils by allowing Tamil bogus refugees residency in EU.

The above issues are serious issues that needs immediate attention by EU and

GOSL. There is HR abuse, torture, extortion, murder and killing in London as well [4].

There is very clear evidence that EU countries have allowed fund raising in their countries [2],[3] and have turned a blind eye to LTTE terrorist activities [2],[3]. It is time the GOSL ask compensation from EU to the damage done to Sri Lanka. Bogus refugees arrive in EU countries to obtain various benefits such as free education, free health care, free housing, free employment training and other benefits. Terrorist activities from funds generated in EU countries have caused death and destruction, orphans, mental illness, blindness, disability and damage to economy of Sri Lanka. The state and the people of Sri Lanka have to look after the victims of terrorism and therefore, there is a obvious need for compensation in the name of natural justice.

THIS IS THE TIME FOR GOSL AND SRI LANKANS TO THINK OF SELF RELIANCE IN DEFENCE.

EU has turned a blind eye to LTTE atrocities and has not helped Sri Lanka combat terrorism, which can be attributed to allowing bogus refugees and fund raising in EU countries. Press reports [8] indicate that 95% of refugee are bogus refugees. In case of Sri Lanka, it could be 100% bogus refugees as these bogus refugees by pass Tamil Nadu, which is Tamil homeland and arrive in Western countries.

It is likely that EU is influenced by incorrect reports produced by some NGO’s , full of errors and omissions [10].

The conduct of Sri Lanka could be termed very good, when you compare with other countries in Similar situations. For comparison purposes, the conduct of Sri Lanka and that of other democratic countries that have faced a threat to territorial integrity is given below.

Steven Lawrence, an innocent Black student killed and UK had adequate resources, detective facilities and even an eye witness for the Murder. The killer was not caught and given any punishment. Lawrence case is merely tip of the ice burg, and I am sorry that I had to mention it. How do you expect Sri Lankan Govt., with limited resources to catch all criminals, when the UK Govt. could not even catch a murderer ? EU please get real.

Police brutality to Muslims are reported in the press as well.

UK has only a tiny fraction of terror experienced by Sri Lanka. Let us see the performance of UK. Jean Charles de Menezes, a Brazilian was shot eight times and killed by the Police, after boarding a London Underground train. Any cover ups there ?

Another person was shot and wounded.

EU should get real, and should stop hounding Sri Lanka.

The present

Let us now see the conduct of Western Governments, when their territorial integrity was at risk. Western Govts. invaded Iraq, to prevent a threat to their country. The invasion, as we know now was on a false pretext. There was of false research data, just like in Sri Lanka now.

What ever the death toll in Iraq, it is massive compared to the potential death toll in Sri Lanka.

I am not criticising the decision of the leaders of USA or UK. The decisions were taken by the leaders of respective countries to protect their countries. The Sri Lankan leader is entitled to take suitable and reasonable decisions to protect Sri Lanka. EU made no protests, when LTTE went on a killing spree (62 deaths ) on the Dollar and Kent farm [11]. EU have no basis whatsoever to protest, when the Sri Lankan president is using reasonable force to protect Sri Lanka.

EU has enough to do in Iraq and Afganistan, where abuse of HR are much higher.

Instead they hound a small country that is fighting to survive terrorism funded from mostly EU countries. It gives the feeling of neo colonialism is in operation by groups that have no sense of morality, values, or ethics.

Let us look at the past.

Remember UK and USA, fire bombed Dresden, in Germany, killing Civilians, during WWII. The fire bombing of Dresden in World War II, between February 13 and February 15, 1945 killed thousands of people. Remember USA, dropped nuclear bombs in Japan to defeat empire builders, killing over 200,000, in just two bombs, when National security was at risk. Also USA rounded up Japanese Americans, and put them into camps, because they were considered to be a threat.

The way forward is to separate Human rights issues from LTTE propaganda.
