BBC (BLIND BIASEDCASTING CORPORATION) EXPOSED !!!!!

Apino Dannachess
Maryland
USA

How BBC is redefining Queens English:
Terrorist: A person who conducts an act of Terrorism in British Isles & its colonies.

Acts of Terrorism in other locations are defined as Freedom Fighting, Separatist activities, Daring rebel acts ………….blah blah.

Terrorism: A terrorist act which occurs in British Isles & its colonies.

Perpetrators of terrorist acts in other locations are known as Freedom fighters, rebels, separatists, last but not least Sole-representatives of the minority….

Golden rule = "T" word is exclusively reserved for Anglo-American context

This clearly illustrate their Colonial Overlord attitude towards their "used be colonial subjects"

DOUBLE STANDARDS IN REPORTING SIMILAR EVENTS

BBC reporting on terrorist acts in Britain
BBC reporting on terrorist acts in Sri Lanka
Five get life over UK bomb plot http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6195914.stm

Excerpts from the news item with generous saving of T word:

Britain's top anti-terrorist policeman, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke, said: "This was not a group of youthful idealists.

They were trained, dedicated, ruthless terrorists who were obviously planning to carry out an attack against the British public."

This fertiliser was to be the key component in the massive bomb - similar to those used in other terrorism attacks around the world.

Total "T" word count in the article = 5
Sri Lanka rebels in new air raid
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/6604645.stm

Excerpts from the news item with the total absence of the T word:

Tamil Tiger rebels have carried out an air raid on targets in and around Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo.

Two fuel facilities were bombed in what the rebels said was in response to an army strike on their ….

It had only recently resumed flights there after halting them in the wake of the rebels' first air attack a month ago.

The BBC's Roland Buerk in Colombo said destroying the Tigers' aircraft and jungle airbases …………….

Total "T" word count in the article = 0

SO MUCH FOR BALANCED REPORTING !!!!!

Note the careful selection of words in these 2 reports
Note the absence of "T" word in the Sri Lankan news item
Same ploy is used in their TV broadcasts
It should be stressed that the news item covering Sri Lanka is a Terrorist Act which has already occurred while the news item on Britain is a purported/ planned act.
This is not unique to news items covering Sri Lankan conflict: same biased treatment is meted out to other countries too.
Sri Lankan Patriots should be reminded that we no longer have to listen to this one-sided news dished out from their high moral standpoints.
There are alternatives such as Al Jazeera which provides true balance reporting: e.g. recent coverage on how LTTE's Terrorists fund raising activities in Britain

A TERRORIST IS A TERRORISTS IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NATIONALITY OF THE VICTIM OR THE PERPETRATOR
