Crumbling Pakistan - A Bonanza for Mullahs & Terrorists

Prof. Hudson McLean

Bungling George Bush and his USA policy on Afghanistan, the aftermath of 9/11 did not bring in any security, neither to USA or to the rest of the world. Then the War-on-Iraq based on "weapons of mass destruction", hanging of Saddaam Hussein and his cronies, did only made the matters worse. Thousands of innocent Iraqies, men, women and children, not forgetting the American soldiers, paid a handsome ultimate price, with their lives.

The continued actions of terrorism in Europe and Asia, triggered by the Bush-War, while some made $$$$$$ bundles, others paid with their lives.

Has these actions made the world a safer place?????

Think yourself, the answer!

This was an "ego" trip for GWB to avenge his father's failure to make a qualified
judgment on the Iraqi-Kuwait Gulf war, and with his cronies, left the job half-finished. The dad Bush money-machine took over and got the "junior" elected to the Numero Uno job, a man who cannot even read or write without the aide of his aides, appointed the Dad's Army to take-on where they left. One of the biggest global disaster in the history of man-kind.

With Iraq in tatters, Afghanistan dithering on the edge of a precipice, Turkey, a NATO State, ready to enter the Iraqi theatre, the cowboy was searching to keep his multi-millionaire buddies, fed with more billions into their industrial network.

The Bush-War machine challenged nuclear based North Korea and Iran simultaneously, which affected the oil price. Iran counters the challenge with some 22,000 war heads to be released immediately if USA-Israel dropped one warhead into Iran. That would immediately result in contamination of the water supply in the Gulf region, creating a global disaster of an unbelievable magnitude.

Such an event would immediately nullify the greed for oil, globally, at least for a while. There would be hardly any consumers left.

With North Korea pacified with hundreds of millions of dollars in aid, via South Korea, the Bush-War machine looked for a new opportunity..

Doing a u-turn, the Bush-War machine looked at Pakistan. This is a poet Milton's Paradise Lost, Paradise Re-gained and, Lost Forever, type of story. The last chapter would be written in 2008-2009. First GWB did not even know the name of the President of Pakistan, when interviewed on the BBC.

Then GWB fell in love with General Pervez Musharaff. Funded him from his polished toes to the top of his military hat. Suddenly the sexy Benazir Bhutto appears and appeals to GWB. Winds on Change? Another regime change? Why not. Give Condi Rice a chance to make a fool of herself! And give ex-Premier of UK, Tony Blair a cushy little number to work on. And give a bloody great headache to the next President of USA? Why not? Because, most likely it might be a Democrat.

Let us look at the Doomsday scenario!

Bring Benazir Bhutto, Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan onto a Democratic platform and squeeze General Musharaff out of the picture. Internal unrest, more military coup-de-etats, which will reawaken the Taliban and Al Qaeda into action. That will keep the Muslim fundamentalists busy for a while till they consolidate Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Gulf States and Egypt, with Mullahs in place.

These boys are no friends of USA and EU. The Russians, Chinese and Brazil will jump into fill the vacuum. The Chinese might turn their manufacturing from poison-toys-for-kids to Toys-for-the-Big-Boys. More money in them.

India will open-up their coffers to guard the borders and to maintain the only real democracy in the world, intact. Possibly quieten the ambitions of the dissidents, using this global challenge as a golden opportunity. More revenue for Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, BAe Systems, EADS, the Israelis, South Africa.

Now the Mullahs will have controlling access to Nuclear Warheads. Israel with their backs to the wall might retaliate, but at a high price. USA war-machine might try to intervene, but might have to sacrifice a minimum of 500,000 young American soldiers.

The oil price might reach a US$ 500-: per barrel. But American and Alaskan oil supply will fuel the manufacture of the military machine, whilst the Russians and Chinese choose to mind their own business. With the Russian oil asset value shooting through the milky way, when the dust settles, the Russian-Chinese-Indian Alliance will take-over as the global power base.

The world will face a military and oil might of the Muslim fundamentalists who will take no bullshit from a power-crumbling European Union and USA. The world will face another Czar Putin or a Czar General Sergei Ivanov whilst a giant Saddam Hussein will rise from the ashes.

Afghanistan-Pakistan-Iraq-Iran-Syria conurbation will create a haven for terrorists. When the USA might, cannot find or locate Sheik Osama bin Laden playing hide-and-seek in Afghanistan-Pakistan mountains, a Muslim Holy Alliance will give sanctuary to every terrorist, for their own personal interests, having dinner with Osama bin Laden will be only a dream.

The Poppies will flourish, sending opium and the finished products to the disillusioned West. No more explosions will disturb the West for awhile but the heroin would do that without a whisper. And moolah to come!

All because, the Bush-War machine needs another EgoTrip! The crumbling of Pakistan, created by the short-sighted USA, would set-off a series of events, which would create global havoc. The terrorists will then Rule the World.

The bottom line for Sri Lanka - Wipe out the LTTE NOW! Stop trying to be bigger than what Mahinda Rajapaksa thinks he is. Do ramp-up whilst the going is good! Tomorrow might be too late!
