LTTE terrorists kill seventeen
Muslim civilians to avenge defeat- Muttur

Nazim who is 11 years old was rescued by the security
forces when the LTTE shelled the Muslim villages in Muttur. Nazim is
presently undergoing treatments at government hospital Trincomalee.
LTTE terrorists bombarded three government schools targeting Muslim
refugees today afternoon (Thursday the 3rd of August).
The Arabic College situated in Muttur town was hit by the LTTE Artillery
fire at 1.15p.m today (Thursday the 3rd of August) killing 10 innocent
civilians and injuring 20 others.
Al Nuriya Muslim School located at Thopoor was also attacked by the
LTTE artillery fire on same afternoon killing at least five innocent
civilians and injuring 10 others
Al Hameema Muslim school at Thopoor has also been hit by the terrorist'
artillery fire killing at least two civilians.
An Injured child is been transferred to Trincomalee Hospital
At present the security forces are engaged in rescue operations to
transfer civilian casualties out of the danger zone despite of the heavy
resistance by the LTTE.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka navy troops successfully evacuated 79 civilian
casualties by sea to Trincomalee town. The evacuation completed at 5.15p.m
today (Thursday the 3rd of August) amidst the heavy artillery and Mortar
fire.
At least 10 Muslim civilians were killed and twenty others were injured
as the LTTE terrorist (Tamil Tigers) bombarded the Arabic College in
Muttur town with heavy Artillery fire at 1.15p.m today (Thursday the
3rd of August) .
This Arabic College is presently functioning as refugee center since
the destabilization created by the LTTE in Muttur town. At present large
numbers are pouring in to this refugee center due to indiscriminate
shelling and firing by the LTTE cadres.
The Tamil Tigers in their pursuit to dive away the Muslims from the
Muttur area are at present deliberately firing Mortar and the artillery
fire at largely populated Muslim areas in Muttur
