Pro LTTE Tamilnet.com was exposed once again by Eastern Tamils for its misinformation and disinformation campaign carried against Tamils in the Eastern Sri lanka.

"Two paramilitary installations have been attacked in Valaichenai in Batticaloa district around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. At least 10 paramilitary members were killed and four wounded, according to initial reports. A house at Puthukudiyiruppu and another at Vinayagapuram, both located in distance of 400 meters, were ambushed by armed men who came in three wheelers, Police sources said" Tamilnet.com report said.

However, when contacted by Independentsl.com, police claimed that LTTE figures are highly exaggerating and several Tamil journalists working for Veerakesari and Uthayan are making ridiculous claims in their websites and attributing to some unknown police sources.

Our sources claimed that only three TMVP political activists had been killed by the LTTE attacks.

Meanwhile, TMVP, media spokesman Asad Maulana confirmed that LTTE had attacked them in their political office, located at Batticoalla Road, Vallachchenai. "Two of our political members killed and other two wounded, another one of our members was killed and other six wounded at another incident" he added. 'The TMVP's cadres are counter attacked, Four Wanni Tigers killed and another Six wounded" he added.
