COLOMBO SRI LANKA

A suicide bomb blast shook a building near the port in Modera close to the the Sri Lankan capital early on Friday, killing the bomber and wounding seven people, the military said. This bears testimony to shades of why a once patriotic Sri Lankan went from door to door in patriotic umbrage armed with an eloctoral list and using draconian methods and angered Sinhalese mobs attacked local Tamils which is not being condoned here but a case in point towards what is happenning in a relative sense today! The extent to which Colomboappears to be infiltrated by the vermin terrorists supported by equally vermin scumbag local Tamil residents who really have no right to be where they are if they are found guilty of aiding and abetting the Tamil Tigers and reliable information now has it~ this category could also include prominent businesses where even the Maharajah Corporation is not exempt from suspicion.

After the reconciliations by compassionate Administrative Sinhala leaderships it has to be mentioned their existences were restored in the name of humanitarian compassion after the dust had settled but to what justification many have asked subsequently where the latest attack in Colombo combined with the many other indications of terrorist infiltration through the other recent LTTE attrocities seem to point to the same Governmental concession as a faux pas which needs to be re vamped and re formatted towards securing Sinahala populated Areas which is where the LTTE infiltrations continue even in some small measure!

This may not seem right from a humanitarial point of view and would certainly bring out the Human rights activists screeching their usual laments but where does one draw the line? Sri Lanka is a majority Sinhalese nation and how much can she tolerate the excesses of the LTTE terrorist cowards? Particularly now that there ie every reason to believe they are being helped bu certain big businesses with impunity whose links to the terrorists are veiled and surreptitious but need to be flushed out into the open!

Maybe this is a time to take stringent measures to check throughly the credentials and bona fides of all Tamils in built up Sinhala areas tough as it sounds, make them accountable for all their movements and activities as a security measure even if it has to invoke the Prevention of Terrorism Act even temporarily until the LTTE are totally eliminated and with no thanks to all the falsely pretentious lobbying taking place at many levels both nationally and internationally they still hang around these areas in the most contentious manner and pretend to be Nation friendly whereas their hidden agendas surface each time there is a penetration into these areas by the terrorists where the shameful denials take precedence over the stark reality that they are LTTE generated! with more than a little help from the local Tamil residents and Businesses as the case seems to be!

There seems to be a felt need to get them ( the local Tamil residents and businesses refered to!) to take an oath of allegiance to the Sinhala nation's right to maintain her sovereignity or ship them away from built up Sinhala areas in droves as harsh as it sounds as there doesn't seem to be any trustworthy Tamils any more unless they come clean and lend their support towards what the Sri Lankan Government is desperately trying to accomplish! More often than not for their own benefit also !!

There is a definite need to create a terrorist free Sri Lanka with every available means where no arbitary LTTE supportives could hide under a mantle of protection as innocent Tamils or legitimate businesses and enterprises which are a mere fornt for the terrorists! Their LTTE bretheren have confounded this concept and seen to it that the Tamils who live in Sinhala areas need to be examined closely for collaboration with the LTTE terrorists! and given a clean slate of non involvement but only after very thorough scrutiny if they wish to continue living in these areas or continue their business ventures!

Bomb squad officials at the scene described how the blast had strewn body parts inside a house in the Modhara quarter of the city, near the harbor that sits north of Colombo's financial district.
Officials initially reported two people were killed. The explosion occurred during a search and cordon operation by police aimed at flushing out Tamil Tiger Rebel attacks in the capital.

"They were searching houses in that area and had gone into a house and wanted them to open a door. Then the suicide bomber came out and exploded himself," said military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara.

Hospital officials said the seven wounded included three policemen and four civilians, one of them in a serious condition.

The separatist Liberation Tigers Of Tamil Eelam(LTTE), who are seeking to carve out an independent state in north and east Sri lanka were not immediately available for comment. But it takes no rocket science to infer the degree of their involvement in this incident the cowards and dastardly wretches they have now proved themselves to be!

The Tigers are blamed for a series of bombings in and around the capital in recent months, and are known for using suicide fighters in a war that has killed an estimated 70,000 people since 1983.

Analysts say the government has the upper hand in a new phase of the 25-year civil war given strength of numbers, increased air power and terrain captured in the east. But they caution the Tigers still retain their strike capability and should not be written off.

Nanayakkara said troops killed 14 Tigers in a clash in the northwestern district of Mannar on Thursday which takes the military's reported rebel death toll for the week to around 60.

Since the start of 2006, more than 6,500 rebels, 1,200 military personnel and over 980 civilians have been killed, according to the military.

Analysts say toll claims by both sides are almost certainly inflated. With Nordic truce monitors banished from the island after the government formally scrapped a 6-year truce in January, there are seldom independent accounts confirming what has happened on the battlefield or behind rebel lines.

The resumption of war has hurt the economy, denting tourist arrivals last year, which fell 12 percent compared to 2006. The stock market slid nearly 7 percent in 2007, with some businesses shelving investment plans. It is time to forget the rhetoric about the past and what might have been where it is important to secure the built up, high density Sinhala populated areas of the nation at any legitimate cost even if it means shipping all Tamils who have no means to establish their bonafides for being in these areas particularly if reluctant to take the aforementioned oath of allegiance towards non support of the LTTE under the liability of heavy penalties and drive them away from these areas at whatever cost it may incur if they do not comply!

Otherwise the Nation of Sri Lanka will be fighting a meaningless war against terrorism being fully aware of the catalysts which project it who need to be sought out and rendered ineffective and redundant and the time to begin this assignment is right now!!
