What are the grievances of the Tamil community?

Anura Seneviratna.

The simple and straight answer is that Tamils as a people have not had independence for their indigenous national land. This land is not in Malaysia, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, Heladiva (Sri Lanka), Myanmar, Canada, UK, USA etc. where Tamils have settled down but in Tamil Nadu (Tamil Country) of the Indian subcontinent with 70 million Tamil nation. The are over 30 million Tamil expatriates in all the above countries and more, and this grievance is common to all the over 100 million Tamil populace of the world. Although, to have their indigenous land of Tamil Nadu as an independent country is their wish, it is not viable as it means to clash with the Indian government which they cannot. But over a period of time in finding a solution they eventually found the then Ceylon later Sri Lanka as the fertile ground for the launch of the Tamil homeland venture. This was possible as the then British land robbers palmed over the island rule to a coterie of pseudo Sinhelas who were anti-Sinhela national from the word go. They systematically violated the Indigenous Hela/Sinhela national sovereignty while nurturing the non indigenous Tamils offering excessive rights which no other minority receive in any other host sovereign country even today.

The current Sri Lanka crisis is the direct result of the sovereign violations against the nation of Helas/Sinhelas. So the grievances of the Tamil community in Heladiva (Sri Lanka) is none but the reason for the upheaval is that the non indigenous Tamils were given certain Tamil national rights of Tamil Nadu national origin within the Hela National Country. Naturally, the next step is to have their own national country but as reasoned above the Tamil land qualifies for independence is found ONLY in Tamil Nadu not in Heladiva, Malaysia, UK etc.

However, simple and clear is this above fact the dilemma is principally the submissive mindset of the Hela/Sinhela people who do not understand the universal concept of “nationhood” due to extensive brainwashing by the anti-Sinhela rulers since 1948 that the island does not have national ownership to its natural heir of the Sinhela Nation but it is common property. This further enhanced by naming the country Lanka a nom de plume used by the ancient Indians. “Lanka” is truly the bane of the Hela/Sinhela Nationhood and the ball of the non indigenous Tamils to play games with us. And they will continue this game until we uphold our national sovereignty.

Also, the cliché of multiculturalism and diversity plays a great deal within the Sri Lanka conflict mainly due to its misconception in trying to apply it across the board without clear parameters. It is the opposite of globalization where nations, cultures and countries should be allowed to sustain, maintain and protect their natural heritage as a basic human right of a people ONLY within their land of indigenous national origin. But it is misunderstood that multiculturalism and diversity can be applicable anywhere. If migrant communities are allowed to establish their cultural diversity within the host national countries as well, it will have dire consequences where host nations will be threatened of their nations, cultures and countries. In clarifying, it is the humane and civilized way that migrant communities should diversify to merge with the host nation or when in Rome do as the Romans.

With Baraka Obama’s entry into the white house race as the first black American, some refer this to the Sri Lanka context as a lesson. If not careful, one can easily slip in the wrong direction. Baraka will be an American National talking American English, belief in American values and culture, in spite of America being a settlers’ country unlike Heladiva (SL) which should uphold the indigenous national Hela sovereignty. If a Tamil takes the same place in Heladiva (SL) it will become a second Tamil country, with Tamil culture and speaking Tamil and invading the Hela Sovereignty.

Sri Lanka is portrayed and defined as an island with different ethnic groups with equal rights. This is a blatant attack on the highest echelons of justice and fair-play in allowing a nation to go down the path of extinction and encourage invading their country with the greatest fraudulence in history. For no fault of their own, Hela/Sinhela Nation were misled for generations to perform national hara kiri. Hence, a major scrutiny is required by us urgently to enlighten to the facts as they really are about US and COUNTRY!
