Dear Keith Vaz:
Thanks for making an effort to respond to my queries to “help
me to know Keith Vaz better”, and also to understand
your psyche regarding your affection for the ruthless bunch of killers,
the Tamil Tigers. I was also curious why you seemingly have that wishy-washy
attitude towards Sri Lanka’s Tamil Tiger terrorism and want to
wriggle out the pat of tribal dung which you had slid into and now entrenched
well in it. Unfortunately, this ‘wishy-washy’ political stance
has left you as a pariah in the eyes of all non-Tamil Sri Lankans around
the world, including myself.
So you kept telling me that “UK is a parliamentary democracy”.
And I kept reminding the parliamentarian in you that, that was why the
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (aka Tamil Tigers) which you have given
a lease of life to, by not mentioning them in your spiels about “terrorism”,
were banned as a terrorist organization in your country.
And that is why I reminded you again as to why you have been probed
by the Anti-Terrorist Police for speaking at the Tamil Tiger Heroes
Day celebration which was praising the banned Tamil Tigers. And now
you tell me that, “There is no probe that I am aware of.”
Yet, the whole world was flashed with this news item through the international
media and the whole world was agog, and some of us saying, “Good,
get the bastard!”
You came back to me with an excuse that “I do not speak any other
language than English so I have no idea what anyone else was said at
the 10 hour meeting.”
That was no excuse for me as my question to you Keith, didn’t
you have a presence of mind to find what this “Heroes Day (Tamil
Remembrance Day Foundation) celebration was all about?”. Who these
Heroes were?
Let me inject this fact into your mind, and you may wish to check with
your Tamil constituents, so that you will know for good and will not
make these feeble excuses to us ever again. The “Heroes” for
these Tamils are the Tamil Tiger terrorists who got killed while fighting
for their mythical Eelam. Now you know why we were told by The Sunday
Telegraph and THE HINDU and other media outlets that the Anti-Terrorist
Police was probing into your speaking at this gathering where the Tamil
Tigers, the terrorist group that had been banned in the UK, and were
being praised. Not knowing the “Tamil language” will not be
an acceptable wriggle-out by me nor by every other non-Tamil Sri Lankan
around the world. And you smacked us with your audacious arrogance by
inferring that, I will do what I have to do as I am from a parliamentarian
democracy. Let me tell you right now Keith, no you won’t anymore,
as we will smack you back to pull you down off your high horse, not
when you are promoting an assassin culture that is hemorrhaging our
Motherland, my Motherland, Sri Lanka, which is near and dear to our
hearts.
I asked you whether you are prepared to get a written guarantee from
your Tamil invitees that they will not promote or praise the Tamil Tigers
at such a Heroes celebration for you to attend. You came back to me
with an attitudinal response by saying, “I condemn ALL terrorism
and all violence to achieve political ends. I do not choose between
different groups.” That is unfortunate and a cop-out, for the lack
of specificity when dealing with Sri Lanka, which, no doubt is why you
happen to be the founder of the All Party Group to help the Tamils.
I find it unacceptable, as it is so transparent that you are there to
win the hearts of your Tamil constituents and at the end of the day
win their votes, by being so wishy-washy, as you know that each one
of them will tell you, “No ticky, no washy!”
With Benazir Bhutto, one more Asian democrat snuffed out by a Pakistani
suicide bomber, a Tamil Tiger copy-cat, those terrorists who perfected
the art of suicide bombing, whom you are not willing to target, let
me tell you with all honesty that you are now playing dominos in Asia’s
mine field where suicide bombers sprout like mushrooms that kill. The
most lethal of them all are the Tamil Tigers who you are shying away
to target that snuffed the President of Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister
of India and 31 other politicians in Sri Lanka, including two Foreign
Ministers, Lakshman Kadiragamar and Ranjan Wijeratne, all with suicide
bombers. Keith, the bottom line is, you cannot be an agent of parliamentary
democracy and modernity in Asia, while being a supporter of Tamil tribalism,
and being a supporter of Tamil Pol-Potism, just to appease your Tamil
constituents. That is not kosher and that will not work.
And let me be honest with you Keith, until you target the ‘Tamil
Tigers’
in your process of wanting to rid “terrorism” in this troubled
world and especially in Sri Lanka, you will be a pariah in my eyes,
for the very reason that you have thrown a life-line of oxygen to these
assassins for their longevity, who are killing unarmed innocents and
hemorrhaging my Motherland. And do you know what Keith? The Sri Lankan
Tamils in your riding have their Motherland well anchored in Tamil Nadu
in southern India where 61 million of their kith and kin live. I am
a Sinhalese, and my Motherland is Sri Lanka, and that too happens to
be all of Sri Lanka and nowhere else. You may wish together with your
Tamil constituents brand me as a Sinhalese chauvinist. Then so be it,
if that is what takes to defend my Motherland from marauding Tamil Tigers
and your Tamil constituents who want to dissect my Motherland into two.
You may want to know, after all this civilized dialogue with you whether
I now know, British Labour MP Keith Vaz better? Of course, I do.
I believe that Keith Vaz cared more about enhancing his own power and
political position within his British Labour party and wants to usher
Peace in Sri Lanka by supporting Tamil Tiger Terrorism, a mind-set that
is well entrenched in him. as it is in other Rogue- Parliamentarians
around the world who think that Sri Lanka is their business. Keith Vaz
is a sly politician, and quite a slimy one at that who will do anything
to wriggle out of a situation if he has to target the Tamil Tigers as
a terrorist organization.
Do I believe whether he is an honest man? No. Will I vote for him?
Of course not.
Keith, at least I am honest with my opinion about you, and I will not
accept your New Year present of, “The way Keith Vaz makes
fools out of Sri Lankans for Dummies”.
