Only Loathsome Terrorists
Would Say the War is Not Winnable Now

Sri Lanka has a right to defend itself from terrorists, parasites,
separatists, religious extremists and cannibals. In deed there are deep
meanings behind all these elements as Sri Lanka and the world at large
have battled all of them and continue to battle them. When Britain was
attacked by the Nazis, there were no argument about war or surrender;
it was war only. The same applies to all nations that have saved themselves
throughout history; they survive today while those who surrendered have
vanished from the face of the earth. Therefore the Sri Lankan war must
be won by Sri Lankan forces to guarantee Sri Lanka’s continued
existence.
It is pathetic that anti-Sri Lankan vile elements have crept into some
world famous anti-terrorism websites, web blogs and news media. They
show the extreme desperation stemming and steaming from the tigers who
are at the brink of extinction. This is however, a good sign; a sign
of victory for their opponents. One of their articles displayed their
utter confusion not only about ‘who the terrorists are’ but
also about the writer’s religion! Well, the answer is too simple.
I know who the terrorists are (most Sri Lankans know only too well)
and I know the writer is a practicing Catholic; so do most readers.
Apart from these two concerns, that article had nothing; it fell well
short of addressing all the factual revelations I made previously. It
should be noted that some of the finest and brutal SLDF officers were
good Christians.
Another last resort strategy used by the LTTE is to try and divide its
enemy, thus weakening it. In pursuing that they harp on racial differences,
alleged racial discrimination and racial disparities. Being an ultra
racist organisation, the LTTE (liberation tigers of TAMIL elam) is well
versed in this type of acts. Any form of racial violence at this juncture
must be handled decisively. It is an undeniable fact that the SLDF and
its paramilitaries comprise of gallant men and women from all races.
Naturally religious leaders have tried to bring peace by peaceful means;
they have requested the parties to the war to stop violence, they have
prayed for peace thousands of times and engaged in peaceful and legal
human rights protection activities; but to no avail! Anyone with a pinch
of grey matter would understand that the LTTE will never give up violence
just like a four legged tiger which must kill to survive.
Many have tried to analyse the Holy Bible and other religious scripts
to justify violence. LTTE is at the forefront of this. They even alter
the Messages issued by the Pope to suit their needs! The Holy Bible
justifies war to defend one’s motherland just as King David did.
Jesus never contradicted the Old Testament; he only refined it and gave
it an individual perspective. Of course the country of birth of Jesus
is also threatened by terrorists! From the North there are Hezbollah
terrorists, from the East Jihad terrorists, from the West Hamas terrorists
and from the South Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade! But it survives; how? It
is by unleashing violent wars on all fronts on suicide bombers and other
terrorists who supposedly fighting for mono-ethnic homelands just like
the LTTE. It is also noteworthy that Israel has build a controversial
wall to save its people from attacks similar to the recent LTTE terror
attack on the Infant Jesus Church in Colombo which came a day later
it killed a Tamil MP in a Hindu Kovil. Wars of 1967, 1970s and 2007
have ensured that Israel is here to stay. No wonder Israel is Sri Lanka’s
main arms supplier of Kfirs, UAVs, Dvoras and Sri Lanka uses Israeli
style retaliatory strikes on LTTE positions in tit-for-tar warfare with
extreme success.
Sri Lanka has four main religions – Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism
and Islam. Each and every religion propagates a unitary undivided Sri
Lanka. History has it that before Prince Dutugemunu took on Elara, he
visited God Kataragama and avowed to build a large sanctuary for the
Holy God; the rest is known history. King Parakramabahu IV who unified
Sri Lanka for the last time built the Nallur temple in Nallur-Jaffna
and Devinuwara Devale in Dondra Point to demarcate roughly the divine
limits of Sri Lanka. All Catholic churches in the island of Sri Lanka
are referred to one Archdiocese in Colombo and the Pope refers to Sri
Lanka as one country and never refers to a separate state or de facto
state within the island. A Catholic hymn to the Holy Virgin Mary goes
‘you depict the shape of Sri Lanka’ (lanka rupeye hadaya wei
oba). Indeed there is a statue of Holy Virgin Mary with Infant Jesus
in the shape of Sri Lanka. All Muslim administrative divisions in the
Island of Sri Lanka are converged into one Supreme unit; not two. International
Islamic entities refer to Sri Lanka as one undivided nation whether
it is about Hajj or anything else. If all the deities and Gods want
one Sri Lanka, only satanic forces would want it divided. LTTE is surely
a satanic force that has killed hundreds of Muslims inside mosques,
hundreds of Buddhists in temples including the clergy, hundreds of churchgoers
and thousands of Hindus many inside Kovils. A strong tiger – Rajini
Thiranagama – later defected the LTTE barbarians after she witnessed
firsthand how the LTTE packed churches with hundreds of people and shot
SLAF crafts attracting precision retaliation strikes that killed hundreds
inside these churches.
Only a military victory can ensure fundamental rights of all Sri Lankans;
not ceasefires; only the extermination of the LTTE can ensure that Muslims
and Sinhalese will live in Jaffna and elsewhere just as Tamils live
in Colombo, Sinhalese and Muslims can engage in business activities
in the North the way they want and popularise the scarcely populated
Vanni.
However the biggest motivation for war is to bring about economic prosperity.
Sri Lanka is in dire economic circumstances today because all its mega
development projects were destroyed by the LTTE. The 1947-69 Farming
Projects in traditional farmlands in the North and the East and the
1970-88 Mahaweli Project were the biggest development projects almost
completely shattered by the LTTE. In addition, the two major development
projects of today (the Hambantota Port and Mannar Basin oil extraction)
are also threatened by the terrorists. Since Mannar is in the area claimed
by the LTTE, any oil revenue will be solely for them. Same with the
Hambantota port when constructed which will use LTTE claimed sea area
(not to mention their ‘bluewater’ ocean rights!). And unless
the LTTE is given commissions, these terrorists will plunder the ships
as they have done on numerous occasions. Also there are large extent
of arable lands and many mineral deposits in the North including Ilmenite
(Iron Titanium Oxide), Thorium (a high potent nuclear fuel), etc., etc.
that are essential for uplifting the national economy. As long as the
LTTE survive, war, peace or surrender, Sri Lankans would be deprived
of these and will forever live in poverty. We should never let terrorists
grab what is made for us, at least starting from 2008.
If anyone says war cannot bring peace and prosperity just visit the
villages of once evicted farmers around Mavil Aru or the fishermen in
Muttur, or the famers in Vaharei. They are living examples of peace
and prosperity brought about by war. The bogus ‘peace’ and
‘ceasefire’ couldn’t do that. Of course, the terrorists
are not going to practice innocent suicide of themselves and in the
process of killing them, civilian casualties and short term economic
upheavals are inevitable. The present attrition warfare by the SLDF
has done enormous damage to the LTTE as their precious few fighters
(including child soldiers) are dying like sprats. Informed sources from
Vanni has told relief missions that LTTE casualties are overflowing
in Vanni hospitals; mothers are hacking LTTE officers to death when
they come to break the news that their sons were killed; more and more
people are providing information to the army on LTTE hideouts, etc.
Amidst all this, the pride of Sri Lanka – the Tamil only DPU which
is the elite commandoes of the army aka ‘the Reeri Yaka Brigade’
– makes vital inroads deep into Vanni. It is expected that at any
moment the government will unleash all hell on tigers and harvest a
large number of terrorists in the process.
Therefore, we urge all Sri Lankans to support the government’s
attrition warfare effort to exterminate the LTTE terrorists and bring
lasting peace and higher economic reach to Sri Lanka which shall be
once again reborn on the carcass of Terroristan. If our ancestors could
do it, surely we can do it better.
