RACIST HAKEEM IS AN ENEMY OF MUSLIMS AND A TRAITOR TO THE NATION – Part I

3000 Muslims were lined up along the sea beach of Matara and brutally killed in 1575 by the Portuguese. Likewise several thousand others were killed in mass executions in Galle, Beruwela and Colombo. These killings were carried out merely for the reason that Muslims from these areas were in the forefront of the Sinhalese armies of King Mayadunne and King Wimaladharmasuriya. Historical records substantiate that Muslims were in the vanguard of Sinhala forces that confronted all foreign aggressors. Similarly in the recent past Muslim leaders such as Dr. M.C.M.Kaleel, Dr. T.B.Jayah, Dr. Badu-ud-din Mahmoud and Mr. A.C.S. Hameed to name a few received adoration and respect from all Sri Lankans due to their true commiment for the well being of Sri Lanka regardless of their party affiliations.

They never espoused racism and whenever racism raised its ugly head they took the lead to douse such racist fire immediatey. Per se it is a pity to find emergence from this patriotic community, politically motivated loathsome racist delinquents threatening to shatter the centuries of racial amity and brotherhood that existed between the Sinhala and Muslim communities.

It is also reported that Mr. Ashroff had said that he craves to slit the neck of Prabhakaran and save the Eastern Province masses from getting subject to terrorist atrocities. Mr. Ashroff realizing the hazardus nature of communal politics formed National Unity Alliance with Ven. Watareka Vajira Thero as its Chairman.

The present leader of the SLMC who hijacked Mr. Ashroff’s party with a gang of his coteries at the time when Mrs. Ashroff was unable to indulge in politics due to observation of religious rites, had driven the SLMC in a detestable racist direction objectively and politically identical with the terrorist LTTE. The only difference is that it does not have an armed cadre but nothing different than the terrorist proxy TNA in word and deed. Both now gets direction and guidance from the terrorist leader, work on the agenda of the terrorist leader.

This racist politician in the name of representing the Muslim community has pawned and betrayed the Muslim community for enriching himself, his kindred, and his cronies shattering the centuries of amity and cordial relationship existed between the Sinhala and Muslim communities, and sowing hatred instead. His self contradictory acts and statements alone stand testimony to the base level of dignity and self respect he has scooped to gain personal benefits at the expense of the Muslim community.

When he got appointed as a Minister for the first time in the PA Government in the year 2000, while on a visit to Mecca, the sacred city of the Muslim, stated to media personnel that it was the first time that the contributions of the Muslim community in the national building has been recognized by the government. Exceedingly praising the government for giving four Ministerial portfolios and four deputy Ministerships to Muslims he claimed that it bears eloquent testimony to the respect the government has towards the Muslim community.

In a long period of seven years until he was unceremoniously and meritoriously dismissed by the former President for acting irresponsibly and for attempting to gain cheap publicity by fanning inter-communal hatred endangering racial amity, getting posts of Ambassadors, Chairman/Directors of Corporations, Ministerial posts in the provincial councils, Chairmanships in Pradeshiya Sabhas for his kindred and sycophants were the main task of this racist politicians. Nothing at all was done for the benefit of the Muslim community despite all the possibilities that existed, and the powers he held.

In the Ranil Wickremasinghe government once again he was a powerful Minister and even a member of the so-called peace delegation. The CFA signed by treacherous Ranil Wickremasinghe with the terrorist megalamaniac leader Prabhakan completely ignored the interest of the Muslim community and it was a gross handover of the fate of the Eastern Province Muslims in a platter to the terrorist leader. When the Muslim community leaders furious over this gross injustice urged this racist politician to get some clauses included in the CFA in order to protect Muslim interests, this so-called leader completely ignored the appeal of the community and didn’t even lift a finger, let alone rectifying the injustice.

Muslim community in the Eastern Province had suffered immense hardships and had lost thousands particularly under the UNP governments, widowing a large number of Muslim women and orphaning thousands of Muslim children. Although this racist politician was in several governments since 1994, even a verbal sentiment has not been made on behalf of these unfortunate destitute souls by this racist politician who is merchandising the Muslim community for personal benefits.

Prabhakaran is the common enemy of all Sri Lankans. However, the Muslim community which has existed amicably with other communities for several centuries has suffered atrocities from the aggressive forces as they stood against these aggressors to protect the country. After the Western imperialist forces only Prabhakaran has become the worst enemy of the Sri Lankan Muslims, and especially for Muslims who lived for centuries in the North and the East. No sane person in the Muslim community can show any respect to this butcher of the community. But this merchandiser of the Muslim community gives his highest respect to this butcher and worships him as an idol.

His stupidity found no bounds when in 2002, while the East was burning due to the atrocities of the Terrorist outfit under the Ranil Wickremasinghe government this merchandiser of the Muslim community addressing a public rally in Kalmunai urged the Muslim youth to carefully and diligently study the mindset of Prabhakaran, emulate him and mould themselves taking him as an idol.

This racist politician has thus become an unpardonable enemy of the Muslim community. He has pledged to remerge the East with the North as Prabhakaran desires and his political existence portends a grave danger not only to the Muslim community but Sri Lankans as a whole. Further details of this racist politician’s treachery to the nation and collaboration with the terrorist outfit will follow in Part II of this article.
