Ms Arbour, Chemical weapons, UN and human rights

Ms Arbour, Chemical weapons, UN and human rights - Ben Silva

Sri Lanka has been savaged by the LTTE terrorists that raise money for terrorism in Western countries, so that fascist LTTE could carve out a part of Sri Lanka, for a racist Tamil state. Former leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in the Eastern Province and the current leader of the political party TMVP, Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman has indicated that LTTE has chemical weapons and may use them [3]. If that is the case, LTTE present a serious threat to Sri Lanka and to the democratic world. It has to be reminded that the coalition forces invaded Iraq, resulting in the loss of life of over 100000 civilians, due to the alleged possession of Chemical weapons by Iraq. EU should note the action of the coalition forces, before they preach Sri Lanka. It is a serious threat to Sri Lanka and to the neighbouring countries, to have a terrorist group, with an air capability, that possess chemical weapons. It is reasonable that Sri Lankans take steps to eliminate the threat.

Western countries have given residency status to a large number of Tamils, that fund the LTTE terrorism. By giving preferential treatment to Tamils, Western countries have discriminated against the Sinhalese, which is contrary to the UN charter on human rights. Careful analysis of the situation in Sri Lanka would reveal that the global network of Tamils, that number over 100 million, want to carve out a part of the only home land of the Sinhalese numbering 14 million. GoSL has the backing of majority Sri Lankans, to drive away the racist terrorists, from the areas controlled by the terrorists, to safeguard the human rights of all citizens. It is sensible for Sri Lankans to learn from history that in the past, South Indian invaders have destroyed Sri Lanka.

Ms Arbour did nothing against fund raising by LTTE, nothing against recruitment of child solders, nothing against brain washing of innocent children, nothing to protect the voiceless and defenceless peasants of Sri Lanka. She failed to realise that LTTE agents operate behind the scenes lobbying, influencing institutions and politicians to lend support and badly needed Oxygen to the LTTE terrorist movement. It is sad that Western countries have allowed the wealth of LTTE to be used to buy political power and influence. It is high time that the GoSL appoint a coordinator to neutralise LTTE disinformation.

Instead of acting against terrorists, whenever Ms Arbour had the opportunity, she lashed out at Sri Lanka, that was taking action to defend the right to life of Sri Lankan citizens.

She was happy to allow herself to be deceived by the terrorist sympathizing INGOs.

The terrorist nature of LTTE is now clear and very visible, and so is the monumental stupidity of Ms Arbour [6]. Ms Arbour failed to realise that Sri Lanka is fighting for survival and LTTE is on a racist empire building mission. Ms Arbour failed to realise that the terrorist organisation LTTE has denied Sri Lankans the right to life, liberty and security of person (Article 3 of UN Human rights Charter). She has not recognised that India created, armed and trained the terror organisation LTTE Some suspect that LTTE is being used by neo colonialists as a proxy.

Considering the threats facing Sri Lanka, it is vital that Sri Lanka has a self reliant defence industry, in partnership with friendly countries.

Ms Arbour failed to distinguish between the terrorist LTTE and the victim Sri Lanka.

INGOs are not all good as they claim. For example, a court in Chad has sentenced six French charity workers to eight years of hard labour, each on charges of trying to kidnap 103 African children (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/12/26/AR2007122601871.html ). Also it is known that Afghanistan has expelled UN officials for having links with terrorists.

Many feel it is a shame that a clueless person such as Ms Arbour is in charge of UN human rights.

Some suspect that Ms Arbour cannot be that stupid, but appear to think of the possibility that a LTTE mole is feeding her with disinformation.

Press reports indicate that a Norwegian INGO has provided heavy equipment and transport vehicles to be used by LTTE!

More information on the involvement of Norway in supporting terrorism are given in [1],[2].

Article 25, of UN human rights charter states:
(1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

Many Sri Lankans do not have adequate food, water and shelter due to poverty and we do not hear even a whisper from Ms Arbour. In deed thousands of people in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka are unnecessarily dying due to lack of uncontaminated drinking water. We do not hear even a whisper from AI or HRW about the plight of thousands in NCP that are dying due to lack of clean drinking water.

There is a looming food crisis, energy crisis and global warming that will have serious impact on human rights. Without food, water, shelter and security, human rights are meaningless.

It is important that all humans have food, water, shelter, security and a job to pay for food, water and shelter.

Ms Arbour, if she has any sense, would approach the human rights issue in a structured manner rather than the fire fighting approach she has taken. There appears to be a link between over population in the world, food crisis, energy crisis and global warming.

A sensible approach would be to limit the number of children to one or two to a couple. Lessons could be learnt from the Chinese. The Chinese has to congratulated for tackling the problem head on and avoiding major problems in China and in the world.

This is a problem that has to be addressed urgently, to prevent the suffering of future generations of humans.
