The trap of multiculturalism and diversity!

Anura Seneviratna.

Throughout time, migrations have left traces of non indigenous cultural trends in most host countries. The result is a tiny mingling of such cultural patterns mainly in the form of foods through foreign restaurants and food outlets, cultural events in private and mushrooming of exotic places of religious worship. It is visible in pockets of certain areas the presence of non indigenous communities.

The host nation some times takes in certain multicultural trends selectively for their own benefit. This is a normal evolutionary rhythm within the world’s human society – to give and take, learn from one another. But every sovereign national country has a unique inviolable official nationhood, language, culture, history, foods, dress etc. which can be identifiable, recognized and given due recognition as a nation of people in the world.

This variety in diversity makes the world more interesting and inspiring. While there is goodwill among nations, at times they quarrel between themselves even to the extent of wars, invasions and genocide.

Especially, in the present money driven economy has made people to leave their countries of national origins and migrate to host national countries for pastures anew. What should take place is for these non indigenous communities to merge with the host nation into a single nationhood or become naturalized citizens or members of the same national club, in return for the economic and other gains they receive in emigrating.

Due to woolly headed conspiring double standard human rights bandwagons that have purposely or otherwise have got human rights mixed up with civil rights and national rights for vested interest are encouraging minorities to demand for rights they are not entitled to within the host country. This encourages non indigenous minorities to demand for their alien-national rights within host countries too, fanning division, instability leading to insidious invasions of host countries.

Those who are wise to this onslaught are the Muslim countries that have almost closed doors to permanent migration. But on the other hand they are the prime culprits who have no shame in organised intrusions into other sovereign countries trying to carve out additional Muslim countries in an effort to dominate the world. Presently, the Muslim community in the south of Thailand are terrorising indigenous Thai citizens in an effort to carve out another Muslim country within the sovereign national country of Thailand.

There are nearly 50 Muslim countries in the world and the reason being due to a religion called Muslim; they managed to rob so many of other nations’ land in organized Muslim expansionism. Also, a section of the non indigenous Tamil community settled in the host country of Heladiva(SL) are attempting to make Heladiva(SL) a second Tamil Nadu(Tamil Country) which is the indigenous Tamil country of 70 million Tamils situated within the Indian subcontinent. Recently, Kosovo, an area within the indigenous Serbian country has fallen to the settled neighbouring Albanian migrants with illegal outside interference.

Now in countries like UK, France, Italy etc. the migrant communities are claiming their alien-national rights through the loophole of human rights. Within this climate of serious threat to sovereign national countries from migrations and Muslim migrations; it is vital to prepare for a survival plan. One way is for every host country to include a special provision in the constitution clearly specifying what rights the non indigenous minorities are entitled to in the host country with a mandatory legal binding and an oath of loyalty to the naturalised citizenship.

Diversity is inherently prevalent in every human society, without which life can be monotonous. But Multiculturalism and Diversity aimed at host countries is thoroughly misunderstood and irresponsible. Diversity should be aimed at the migrant communities to diversify towards the host nation’s language and culture as a matter of legal duty and not vice versa. If diversity is pushed into the host nation they will soon be invaded. In the past, invasions or land robbing was conducted in a brutal manner committing genocide. The way the multiculturalism and diversity is promoted today, it will soon give rise to the modern day land robbing or invasion by migration!
