The report "Sri Lanka and the Breakdown of the Rule of Law, A
citizens report " is a carefully crafted report, with appropriate
spin, with the objective of misleading the reader. The action plan suggested
in the report is exactly what the terrorist group LTTE wants - a bogus
ceasefire so that they can carryout their undeclared war and killings,
just as they did before. LTTE was not at all interested in peace, but
used the peace time to bring in arms in ship loads, carry out the murder
of GoSL officials, murder democratic politicians, construction of an
airstrip at Iranamadu, build up of offensive emplacements at Sampur
and elsewhere. In a nutshell, LTTE leader Prabakaran (Tamil Hitler )
made preparations create a mono ethnic racist Kingdom for himself, by
carving out a part of Sri Lanka. There is ample evidence that the CFA
facilitator Norway has favoured LTTE [16],[17],[18].
It is sad that those that fund child soldiers and suicide bombers,
those that fund the brainwashing of children live safely in the West
while their trained killers and the innocent victims suffer. It appears
that some in the West have lost their common sense and are treating
the victim Sri Lanka worse than they treat the criminal terrorist LTTE.
As Canada has been one of the main countries that provide funding to
the LTTE terrorists, Canada should bear a proportionate responsibility
to the death and destruction in Sri Lanka. In deed countries, whose
activities create a negative impact on others should be made responsible
and made to compensate.
Globally funded terrorism has not only caused a human tragedy but also
has caused massive damage to the economy of Sri Lanka. It has to be
brought to he notice of the Canadian Government and the Canadian public
that Canadian money in the hands of the LTTE terrorists have brought
about economic damage to Sri Lanka and untold misery to all ethnic groups
in Sri Lanka. The worst affected are the weakest members of the Sri
Lankan Society. The weakest members of the Sri Lankan society, the peasants
are defenceless, voiceless and powerless and they have no representation
in Western Countries to voice their plight.It has to be stated that
Tamils have been favoured and Sinhalese discriminated, when it comes
to residency in Canada.
LTTE agents and sympathisers have issued another carefully crafted
report, with selective information, ignoring the terrorism, murders,
atrocities and ethnic the cleansing carried out by LTTE [7],[8]. The
law and order situation in Sri Lanka is a problem due to terrorism.
Terrorism in Sri Lanka is generally funded by Western Countries [21].
In fact Western countries give so many free things to bogus refugees
that bogus refugees have disposable income to fund terrorism. There
is therefore a case to look at all the facts carefully, and to seek
compensation from the countries that allowed fund raising to be carried
out. The main problem of the breakdown of law and order in Sri Lanka
is the terrorism unleashed by LTTE. Before terrorism was unleashed by
LTTE, Sri Lanka had the highest standards in Law and order amongst Asian
countries. Law and order problems are clearly caused by terrorism, and
in order to maintain law and order, terrorism has to be eliminated.
Eliminating terrorism should take the highest priority for GoSL. In
all cases of previous ceasefires, the terrorists have used the period
to rearm, regroup and prepare for war.
There are only 14 million Sinhalese worldwide and at least 80 million
Tamils world wide. LTTE gets its funding from global Tamils and LTTE
is on a mission to create a racist mono ethnic Tamil state, hoodwinking
naive people, claiming Tamils are oppressed. The real oppressed are
the Sinhalese, who had to undergo over 30 years of terrorism and they
have had enough of it now. Clearly, destabilisation of Sri Lanka is
carried out by terrorists that raise money for terrorism in Western
Countries. Clearly, those countries are responsible for the destabilisation
of Sri Lanka. In deed UK and USA attacked Iraq and Afghanistan because,
these countries were held responsible for possible terror attacks.
Clearly the action plan to deal with the breakdown of law and order
in Sri Lanka should be to eliminate terrorism and seek compensation
from the countries such as Canada that allowed fund raising and gave
residency to a large number of bogus refugees. The root cause of the
problem in Sri Lanka could be attributed to a number of factors. Favouring
Tamils by Western countries in giving residency, turning a blind eye
to their fund raising, allowing bogus charities tax free fund raising,
providing grants to Tamil groups by local authorities and probably providing
free legal aid as well. The bogus refugee issue is dealt in appendix
1.
The action plan suggested by the 'A citizens report' is exactly what
the LTTE wants, cunningly camouflaged. The Tamil tigers want peace so
that they can rearm and regroup and prepare for the next war. Readers
should not be foolish enough to be deceived by the content of the report
or their recommendations. The content of the said report and their action
plan is pure LTTE propaganda material, and anyone who knows about LTTE
and their tactics would immediately recognise it as LTTE disinformation
material.
I have given below some activities of LTTE, that has caused a breakdown
in law and order. LTTE started their killing spree by killing the Tamil
Mayor of Jaffna Alfred Duraiappah. LTTE killed those that opposed the
racist agenda of LTTE. LTTE is on a mission to create a mono racist
kingdom for the Tamil Hitler Prabakaran. LTTE have killed most of their
democratic, non racist Tamil opponents. Tamils already have a home land
called Tamil Nadu in South India. LTTE is on an empire building mission,
with the money it collects from Tamils world wide. LTTE has a powerful
propaganda arm that feed the world with disinformation about Sri Lanka.
The citizen report is one such attempt by LTTE sympathisers on disinformation.
LTTE creates and staffs some charitable organisations, projecting its
influence through this front to raise money from Tamil communities and,
ultimately, convert the gains into arms [1]. Various fronts of LTTE
act as missions for LTTE and carry out the disinformation campaign against
Sri Lanka.
Terrorists have made life hell for the weakest Sinhalese, Tamil and
other members of the Sri Lankan society. Funds provided by rich and
powerful countries such as Canada, provided funds to terrorists that
made the life of the weakest members of Sri Lankan society unbearable.
It is pure hypocrisy for powerful countries to preach peace to Sri Lanka,
when it is the funding from Western Countries that fund the terror war.
It is therefore reasonable for the victims of terrorism and Sri Lanka
to expect to receive compensation from the countries that fund terrorism.
Terrorism has caused a human rights crisis, that affects all Sri Lankans:
1. Terrorism producing orphans, disabled persons, blind persons, and
causing fear, mental illnesses and stress.
2. Ethnic cleansing, depriving livelihood and homes of innocent people
3. Loss of life of law enforcement officers and security forces
4. Loss of life, innocence and childhood of children due to child soldiering
5. Fund raising in the West that cause Terrorism and destruction in
Sri Lanka.
6. Loss of Right to life of valuable Sinhala and Tamil National leaders.
The above are very serious matters affecting Sri Lankans, and if there
is natural justice at all in the world, then the countries that allowed
terrorists to fund raise should compensate the victims and also compensate
Sri Lanka, as Sri Lanka has to spend money on defence, that it otherwise
would have spent on improving the quality of life of the citizens.
The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) has created one of the
most sophisticated insurgencies in the world, largely due to a complex
global network of financial resources and weapons that are integral
to prolonging its campaign for a separate Tamil state in Sri Lanka.
The profit margin of LTTE is in excess of 200 million dollars per year
[1],
The southern province of Tamil Nadu in India plays a pivotal role in
LTTE procurement and has become an essential transit point in the LTTE
arms, narcotics, contraband and possibly human smuggling [1].
Very recently LTTE killed Jeyaraj Fernandopoulle, a Tamil Catholic,
and Highways Minister and Chief Government Whip. Earlier they killed
Lakshman Kathiragamar a brilliant Tamil Foreign Minister; LTTE also
have killed Appapillai Amirthalingham, the Leader of the Opposition;
Neelan Thiruchelvam, a Tamil intellectual and Constitutional expert
and Professor at Harvard University; Ketheshwaran Loganathan, the Deputy
Secretary General of the Government Peace Secretariat, a rebel who joined
the democratic stream; A Thiagarajah, the MP for Vadukoddai; K. Alalasundaran,
MP for Kopai; V. Dharmalingam, MP for Manipay, and the list goes on.
LTTE is the only terrorist group that has killed leaders of two countries:
President Ranasinghe Premadasa of Sri Lanka and PM Rajiv Handhi of India.
A fundamental and very basic principle of all democratic governments
is to implement and fiercely protect the Rule of Law. It is indeed GoSL
is taking action to enforce Sri Lankan law in all its territory. GoSL
is prevented from doing so by the action of the terrorist group LTTE.
The ill throughout CFA sponsored by the Norwegians have given a false
air of legitimacy to the LTTE. The CFA allowed LTTE to carry out an
undeclared secret war against Sri Lanka. Until recently, LTTE have been
the predators, preying on members of the government, the security establishment,
the administrative apparatus, non-LTTE politicians, and so on without
following any rules of war.
Background on Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has been the home of the Sinhalese for over 2000 years. However
due to close proximity to South India, on a number of occasions, Sri
Lanka was invaded by South Indian Tamils, for example by Chola invaders,
and the Sinhala kings managed to drive them away. Invaders systematically
destroyed the irrigation system of the Sinhalese, thereby destroying
their lively hood, as the Sinhalese depended on agriculture. During
the last 450 years, Sri Lanka was under European invaders and they practiced
the 'divide and rule ' policy and gave preferential and privileged status
to Tamils, resulting the Sinhalese being in a deprived social class.
It is only after independence that the Sinhalese asserted their rights.
Tamils have carried out ethnic cleansing of the Sinhalese from their
traditional homeland and are now claiming the areas as theirs.

Tamil Bogus refugee scam and the destruction of Sri Lanka - Ben Silva
The pain, suffering, death and the economic hardships faced by the
Sinhalese and other ethnic groups due to the Tamil bogus refugee scam
is the main reason for writing this article. Terrorism [4] has brought
about immense pain, suffering, mental agony and hardship to the weakest
Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslim members of the Sri Lankan society. Prabakaran
has unfortunately, brainwashed Tamil children and young adults and trained
them as killers, to create a racist kingdom for him. The Government
of Sri Lanka and its citizens face serious problems in the human rights
front, mainly due to the LTTE and its activities against civilians.
The Tamil bogus refugee scam has given a massive unfair economic and
political advantage to Tamils [10],[21].
The world economy is driven by wants, greed and money. The two driving
forces that motivate Tamils to seek residence in Western Countries as
bogus refugees are:
the desire for things that are not available in Sri Lanka, and the desire
for money.
This desire is not peculiar to Sri Lankan Tamils, but is also a feature
of people from poor African Countries as well as people from various
parts of the world. Evidence has shown that people from poor African
countries, China and of course Tamils from Sri Lanka would go to any
length, including risking their lives, telling lies, using deception
and fraud to live in Western Countries It is indeed a natural human
quality to desire better life and to satisfy 'wants'. I have nothing
against any one who wants to improve. The opportunities should be there
for all and should not be created using lies and deception.
The motivation that drives LTTE is racism, greed and a taste for power
and empire building. The emblem of the LTTE flag, derived from ancient
Tamil invaders, their ethnic cleansing, their funding derived from global
Tamils, give us an indication that LTTE are racist empire builders [15].
Unfortunately innocent Tamils and Sinhalese are the victims of LTTE
terror, as LTTE have targeted peace loving fair minded Tamils and killed
them [16],[17].
