Tamil Nadu Politicians Inciting Anger against The Sri
Lankan Government Need To Be Taken To Task By The Indian Government
As They Are In Direct Violation Of The Diplomacies Between Sri Lanka
And India! This being said there are also very sensible and judicious
politicians and idealogues in India who view the present rhetoric of
some misguided Tamil Nadu politicians directed against the GOSL as worthless
and detrimental to relations between the two countries and need to be
respected for their integrity and wisdom.
In Chennai India recently, according to State secretary D. Pandian "The
action taken by the Central Government in response to the demand of
the people of Tamil Nadu to stop the war in Sri Lanka was neither satisfactory
nor promising from the point of view of the Communist Party of India
talking to journalists there. He has somewhat in simple minded fashion
alluded that India could not wash its hands of the Sri Lankan Tamils
issue on the pretext that it was an internal matter of another country.
Now what kind of rubbishy rhetoric is this and who is this Pandian character
trying to instil his communist idealogies into the governance of Sovereign
Sri Lanka and synonymously baiting India? Is he even partially aware
that the Sri Lanka Tamils overall often distance themselves from Indian
Tamils on the basis that they are rabble rousers and hate mongers far
removed from the True Tamils in Sri Lanka and are people who through
archaic British decision making during colonial times were transported
to Sri Lanka (then Ceylon)in order to serve the plantation industry
and have no voice today nor ever have in matters pertaining to the internal
affairs of Sovereign Sri Lanka and this too at Administrative level
short of being a joke.
And as such,the true Tamils of Sri Lanka being of a far purer strain
of educated, intelligent and compassionate people are not the residue
of imported Indian labour and often feel insulted by any comparisons
to the latter mentioned and need no liberation or restitution from any
impeded dangers to their existences other than those from the terrorist
enclaves of the LTTE led by Sri Lanka's most wanted~ Velupillai Prabhakaran
the notorious megalomaniac criminal who often falsely claims to represent
the Sri Lankan Tamils which claim is repudiated by the Tamils who know
the man for who he is and want no part of him!
In what capacity does Mr.Pandian have the nerve to refer to human rights
violations in Sri Lanka by the Government which he envisions more in
speculation than with any tangible proof when his native India in recent
times has been more of a notorious offender in this respect where human
rights are violated in a multi-faceted basis and applicable to caste,
creed, religion, ethnicity and a whole lot more, taking place on a daily
basis where even India's Prime Minister has refered to them as India's
shame!
Perhaps it is a combination of ignorance, myopia and bias which prompts
him to suggest somewhat obstreperously that in his opinion, "when
human rights are violated, borders of a country cannot be a stumbling
block and in the case of Sri Lanka we have a close relationship with
the Tamils", so what does he suggest? That India should invade
Sri Lanka to save the Tamils? Perhaps he needs to invite "the poor
suffering Tamils" of Sri Lanka with the permission of the Indian
Goverment to make an exodus en masse from Sri Lanka and occupy Tamil
Nadu as a safe haven!
It needs to be conveyed to these types of blinkered apathetic idealogues
so full of themselves about Sri Lankan Government policy relative to
the Sri Lankan Tamils that it is not the State which is inflicting pain
and suffering on the Tamil people but some of their own kind who have
banded together as terrorists and are destroying much of everything
or have tried to do so towards their own survival while using the excuse
that they are doing so to liberate the Tamils which is a concocted myth
as the world knows it today!
While the offer might be viewed as magnanimous it could also be interpretated
as disruptive and pre-meditated where although the people of Tamil Nadu
were ready to donate food and medicine to the Sri Lankan Tamils beseiged
by the Anti terrorist offensive this need has been more than adequately
attended to by the Government of Sri Lanka while there are remaining
those Tamils held in captivity by the terrorists using them as a human
shield and whose desperate need to be freed takes precedence over the
continued existences of the LTTE!
Hence Mr. Pandian's request to get permission from Sri Lankan President
Mahinda Rajapaksa to distribute the said 'requisites ' seems more of
a ploy to interfere into the Sri Lankan Armed Force's advances on the
terrorist stronghold of Kilinochchi and should stay out of the issue
as he has no mandate for his words or actions!In fact he is beginning
to sound very much like an LTTE terrorist himself on the brink of elimination!
Has India not learned a lesson from a previous situation involving a
forced food drop to the same areas where India came out of it having
accomplished little or nothing beyond being internationally labelled
as interfering bullies while taking a beating from the LTTE terrorists
and eventually losing their beloved Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi to the
mendacities of the terrorists!
Therefore in what capacity short of deserving a resounding kick up his
rear does Mr Pandian instigate talking to The President of Sri Lanka
on matters which seem beyond his comprehension about permission to send
food, medicine and other relief materials while he (Mr. Pandian ) has
had the nerve to also suggest officiously that the materials should
not be distributed through the Sri Lankan Government.It is surmisable
then that his ideal choice would be Prabhakaran and his terrorists where
this particular orator might as well either be standing on a soapbox
in Hyde Park Corner bellowing out his worthless repartee or counted
as a terrorist himself in which case as mentioned previously he needs
to face the consequeneces!
Most unfortunately for India all this rhetoric carries a slur on Indian
Foreign policy even hypothetically as there seem to be buffoons of the
likes of Pandian who don't seem to understand the protocols involved
in such high handed dialogue which not only contravenes Indian Foreign
policy towards Sri Lanka but could undermine the cordial relations between
the two neighbouring countries where thankfully there are very sensible
decision maker within the Indian Government who in addition to their
smooth decision making relative to Sri Lanka should also take stringent
steps to indict the culprits fomenting anger and dissent against the
Sri Lankan Government.
