Affirmative Action Towards Sri Lanka's Well Being!

And so the never ending saga of Governmental tolerance of the LTTE fanned by the calls to moderation by the Western World inspiring their ability to get away with impunity continues as the world watches their antics somewhat curiously knowing that the LTTE indeed have greater forces to deal with from within Sri Lanka today than ever before yet carry on regardless.Their latest tirade / charade has manifest itself in the form of a plea to the European Union to withold Foreign Aid to Sri Lanka conditional towards accepting their ISGA as their optimism grows in the face of the willy nilly responses of the Sri Lankan Administration at times unable to deal with them effectively enough and break their will and resolve.

All due respect to the Peace Agreement and Ceasefire now appears to have been cast to the winds with their latest ongoing attrocities as each political opponent whom they see fit is systematically slaughtered and the cautions from Sri Lankan authorities ignored blatantly.All this in the face of international pressure against terrorism portrays their attitude where they act with the least amount of concern or respect to the laws of the land and truly deserving of total anihilation rather than mediation or moderation!

Adding further grist to their mill the Tamil Diaspora in countries such as Canada and Switzerland openly conduct fund raising events and commemorative events of LTTE ill repute given their terrorist status, wave the Eelam flag, blatantly wear Tee Shirts with the Tiger emblem and dance around intoxicated and inebriated in their misconcived belief that they have a mandate towards recognition and restitution to a cause which had all but dissipated but revived in the face of what may be reasonably assessed as Status Quo neglect where the hollow rhetoric of the West about changing attitudes and resuming the Peace Talks all but fall on deaf ears and the Eelam boys and girls at times have the nerve to talk about their military strength and carry on regardless perhaps to a date with their eventual destiny!

To a great extent the Westen Nations who openly condemn international terrorism, proscribe the LTTE and denounce their modus operandi appear to be hypocritical while displaying a double standard when it comes to terrorism borne of fundamentalist Islam and that of the LTTE where categorically both are the same and both deserve complete anihilation towards a better world and democratic freedoms of individuals yet the latter shown a consideration and tolerance which is not only inexplicable but also ludicrous. All the while the labe "Most Dangerous Terrorists In The World" is also displayed marginally yet significantly to add to the consternation of definition by a few imbecilic interpretations!

Needless to say there is organizational might and finesse in the manner the LTTE conducts activities often with the cunning of a fox and illisionary skills of a master magician in pulling the wool over western leaders eyes that their intentions and objectives towards peace are sincere whereas the more discerning within Sri Lanka and the international community know that it is mere playacting towards buying time for regrouping as they continue searching for a means towards their own survival.

Perhaps the stage is now set for Sri Lanka to play that trump card it has always held over the LTTE in inviting greater participation of friendly superpower to the North, India also concerned about Regional Security by way of LTTE posturings and their high handed operations which they continue to persist in whether through political assasinations, surreptitious arms smuggling, playing tag on the high seas and tough rhetoric, to show a greater involvement and presence in Sri Lanka's Peace Effort and indications of a greater level of Indian participation in Regional Sri Lankan Matters indeed appears to be very much in the offing through the latest information to this effect from reliable Government sources and sends out a warning signal to the LTTE which has also been reiterated by the President who seems to be at the end of her tether as far as her patience with the LTTE is concerned.

The LTTE seem to be in the habit of persisting in their greatly unchallenged activities where the Government strictly adheres to the conditions of the Peace Agreement where they seem to think nothing of violating it together with the ceasefire probably because of the primary aberration of Sri Lankan Administrative discernibility in permitting and continuing to indulge Norway as a peace moderator behind whom the LTTE cloak and dagger exploits have augmented to intolerable proportions and will continue until a positive stance is taken by the Sri Lankan Authorities and perhaps in collaboration with India while booting out the Norwegians from any further participation in Sri Lankan affairs related to peace on the basis of their proven bi-partisan bias and leanings towards the LTTE.

Short of compromising the Nation's Territorial Integrity and its much prized Sovereignity which is an inherant possession of the Sinhala Nation there can be no legitimizing the present demands of the LTTE where the international sources contributing towards this legitimization can be considered as playing a dangerous game with the security of Sovereign Sri lanka where the only solution has to be rank opposition to the LTTE in their present guise as fully armed unrelenting terrorists where all World Powers in favourable of a righteous and legitimate world order should join hands and resources towards eliminating the LTTE as a worthless entity, an affirmative action towards Sri Lanka's well being!
