Thanks To The Concerted Efforts Of The Armed Forces The Cracks Are Beginning Show In The LTTE's Once Bold Exterior!

October 3rd 2007

The tell tale signs have been appearing for sometime now as cracks are beginning to show in the once bold exterior of the LTTE that ever since the Commander of the Armed Forces Lieut.Gen. Sarath Fonseka decided to initiate an all out push to pursue the Tigers relentlessly and systematically eliminate them, something he has vowed to do in the best interests of Sri Lanka to all intents and purposes the objective seems to be succeeding effectively and that the tigers are being systematically taken to task.Something for which contrary to all the meaningless cacophony towards being moderate with the terrorists coming from certain pro active albeit misguided LTTE supportive sources, the Nation has to be thankful for!

These are times when the tigers are being hit from all fronts by land, sea and air and are running helter skelter for their very lives in many cases and it is high time to do away with stock phrases such as "tiger controlled territory" which simply do not exist and is a figment of pro LTTE propagandists and diaspora frustrated beyond beleif that their 'boys' as some seem to favour calling them led by the psychopath Prabhakaran are seeing their dream of Eelam fast evaporating into oblivion insamuch as many of the so called LTTE leaders who have ended up on a roster of the dead and the damned on which pretty soon one should expect to see also the names of Velupillai Prabhakarqan ( if not captured alive) and perhaps even others such as S.P Thamilselvam and R.Illanthirayan to name some if they do not surrender first or voluntarily extricate their unwelcome presencer from the face of the Sinhala Nation permanently for their own good! .

It has been has suggested quite appropriately that The LTTE are now a ' sick lame duck' led outfit with a large number of big names in their so-called rank of officers, killed by the Security Forces in the recent battles, according to the Army Commander Lt.Gen Sarath Fonseka, who has asserted that the days of the terrorist outfit are numbered, and a fact nationally and universally known and acclaimed. the LTTE have been systematically mowed down and driven out from many of their former strongholds while now struggling to hold on to the remaining two areas where they are based as last bastions which are Kilinochchi and Mullaithivu in the Wanni and even as this is being written the Wanni is being bombarded and should continue as was the case in Thoppigala where under Lieut Major Fonseka's relentless pursuit they were tranformed into hapless running tigers rather than the 'fighters' they once professed to be.

A recent report indicates based on army intelligence that the current strength and capabilities of the LTTE are depleted to such an extent that relatively their morale too is a dwindling one and their capacity to confront the firepower of the Armed Forces in a direct confrontation is virtually non existent and their only strength lies in cowardly attacks on unsuspecting civilians albeit suffering heavy casualties as the Armed Forces counter their every move and it has been reported that large numbers of the LTTE terrorists have been killed in the recent battles in the East.

Iit has been concluded consequently that their striking power has been reduced to a minimal capacity where vast numbers have already begun deserting their posts for their own personal safety as the forward march of the Armed Forces have disabled and crippled much of their resistance which does not augur well towards their continued existence and something the world at large needs to be made aware of contrary to the false propaganda being circulated by pro LTTE sources. To add to their chagrin the LTTE are said to have also lost a vast quantity of arms and armaments to the Security Forces where many reports suggest seemingly accurately that they are a totally disoriented lot with several of their cadres surrendering to the Armed Forces where the accuracy of this news has been confirmed by the commander of the Armed Forces whose campaigns continue notwithstanding the danger these cornered and on the run criminals present to their pursuers.

While there is news that the LTTE have been bragging about a ''Unilateral Declaration Of Independence Of A Tamil State in 2008" the battering they have received from many fronts contradicts this declaration which sounds more like another figment of baseless LTTE innuendo by virtue of the persistent rhetoric of their propagandists. There is also the breaking news from reliable sources that the LTTE were currently losing the support of the Tamil diaspora abroad and were in a helpless situation with a large number of active members of the organisation becoming disillusioned about their once oppressive objectives and were in a sense pleading for clemency of what they anticipate as the pinitive actions which will be meted out to them if apprehended by the law subject to the jettisoning of their cyanide capsule in favour of mortality.

This is why in all probabilities the likes of S.P. Thamilselvam amd Rasiah Illyanthirayan have been clamouring for international intervention to prevent the Sri Lankan Armed Forces from their continued military action which is more a preventive measure on the part of the authorities in Sri Lanka against the ongoing terrorist attacks which disrupt normal life within the Nation even if sporadic, but a degree of desperation has been distinctly noticed in these pleas which despite their pitiful nature cannot be given much credibility based on the ruthless track record of the LTTE and if they have been crippled, being the criminals they are, there needs to be closure to the objectives of the Armed Forces which has been voiced through the determined nature of its leadership towards the task as there seems no sign of any real show of faith towards peaceful resolution by the LTTE terrorists.
