When a Nation such as Sri Lanka becomes the target of unpatriotic former sons and daughters of the land who have the affront to openly criticise an Administration which is trying to the best of its ability given the many setbacks it faces through internal armed insurrection perpetrated by the LTTE criminals with no right to recognition it not only portrays what is truly wrong with this Nation of ours but it also suggests ignorance borne of bias and an apathy to get their facts right despite some of it staring them right between their eyes with some who even marginally consider themselves as being Sri Lankans and raises many eyebrows ! It is a disgusting point to ponder upon for the real patriots of Sri Lanka who have no reservations about the direction of this very Nation conscious Administration!

While deserving some punitive action for their indiscretions these individuals perhaps better defined as directionless reprobates for what may be evaluated as their irresponsible utterances while synonymously paying obeisance to a band of internationally proscribesd terrorists, it seems unfortunate that these types of LTTE bucket carrying sycophants reside many thousands of miles away from their motherland ensconced mostly in the West and cannot be apprehended or at least given the berating they really need and hence this insert which is intended to jar their consciences if they profess to having any.

While it may be a safe enough assumption to make that most of the anti - Rajapaksha Administration flak seems to come from areas of self styled socialism and socialistic organizations set up by frustrated and disgruntled expatriates with no political future for their lopsided political idealogies within Sri Lanka and hence their expatriate status it has to be acknowledged also that these sources which carry out what many acknowledge as pro LTTE propaganda continue to voice their dissent against the Sri Lankan Administration when they can ill afford to as all they would accomplish is an increased resentment and contempt by the real patriotic sons and daughters as well as perceptive members of the international community whose collective support of the Administration by far overwhelms those of the pro LTTE sycophants and should perhaps relent their objectives if they are in any way intended to sway any world awareness that the Sri Lankan Administration is to blame for the state of affairs within Sri Lanka today as it seem to be a wasted effort!This liability and culpability surely rests with the bunglings and grievous errors committed by decades of previous incumbent administrations which have left behind a legacy of woe and distress which the Rajapaksha Administratio is valiantly attempting to correct!

To criticise what the The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), the main party in Colombo’s coalition government has announced as a set of constitutional proposals in April to establish the infrastructure for a political settlement of the country’s civil war on the basis that "the package is a reversion to measures that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) have long rejected and far from being a plan for peace, a justification for the government’s continuing military aggression" seems a statement made through blinkered vision with intent to foment anger where the critic fails to perceive what the LTTE really stand for in the eyes of the world and are patronisng a justification towards their existence rather than join in the unequivocal call to have them eliminated and wiped out in their entirety! No rocket science needed here to concur in the face of Velupillai Prabhakaran's many assertions that the LTTE aren't in any quest for peace but a subjugation of the Nation of Sri Lanka to their terms and the sources which contradict this whether they belong to a world socialist enclave or any other voice engines which have their own perceptions of what's best for Sri Lanka sound somewhat confused and needing education towards the reality that the LTTE are not headed towards rehabilitation nor are they rehabilitatable where the term incorrigible would be better applied to civilized human beings rather than rabid criminals!

There is also further attempt to mislead, evident by these misguided sources whose barkings against everything the Rajapaksha Administration comes up with towards resolving the National crisis involving armed terrorists which suggests that the agenda of these sources must somehow be indelibly linked to that of the terrorists or else why would they put down the proposals of the Rajapaksha Administration Vis-a -Vis the SLFP as discriminatory? They were drawn up in good faith for an all-party representative committee (APRC), set up by President Mahinda Rajapakse last year to consider constitutional changes to solve what is known in Sri Lanka as the “ethnic problem” yet bi-partisanly perhaps in collaboration with the LTTE construed as " the systematic discrimination against the country’s Tamil minority that led to the outbreak of war in 1983. "

At this juncture LTTE sympathy becomes very evident through the following utterance that "Rajapakse excluded the pro-LTTE Tamil National Alliance from the committee and included the two main Sinhala extremist parties—the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU)"—showing that it has been recognized with a degree of resentment by these critics to be more than a government propaganda exercise and one of caution so as not to provide any leeway for LTTE supportives who are in fact terrorist supportives to manouver in favour of terrorism.The President was absolutely correct in his decision if in fact it can be established that he did, beyond speculation!

There is reference to The SLFP document clarifying from the outset that the government intends to maintain Sinhala-Buddhist supremacy as the strong sounding definition towards the basis for the constitution and beyond ignorance in a nation predominantly Sinhala Buddhist what is the unpardonable sin to maintain the identity of the main ethnic group in the constitution of the land where proviso is clrearly evident to incorporate all its minorities and retain the key constitutional clause that establishes Buddhism as the state religion. “The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana (institution),” the draft states. For some Philistine moron as a critic of the Administrations to even hint that the clause blatantly violates the elementary democratic principle of the separation of the state and religion, and relegates other religions to a second-class status seems the most lopsided view thus far presented which makes the more discerning make reasonable conclusions that such criticisms of the Rajapaksa Administration is not only puerile but to a great extent intolerable by way of the pro LTTE intonations which need to be highlighted here and recognized for their transparencies!

These are dangerous times for Sri Lanka where an internationally condemned scourge of terrorism calling themselves Tamil Tigers continues to get away with impunity their attrocities against a Sovereign Nation and one of the reason's for their continued existence perhaps lies in the support they get from scribes who are pitiful enough to compromise even by their incongruous verbiage the integrity of Sri Lanka towards her right to exist as a Sovereign Democratic Nation and it is suggested to these so called protectors of the rights of the proletariat to take their sermons elsewhere before they become internationally branded as open supportives of one of the most despicably criminal terrorist groups whose very existence should be condemned to extermination rather than pontificating their unacceptable presence in Sri Lanka bearing in mind that neither the LTTE nor the TNA have any right to real recognition as representatives of the true freedom loving Tamil people whose very posterity is being jeopardised by their ludicrous recognition beyond being LTTE sycophants and rabble rousers who cheated their way into parliament!
