Although it is becoming more and more apparent with the passage of time that President Rajapaksha governs Sri Lanka astutely and with wisdom with a no nonsense attitude to moot albeit in a coalition situation which is probably what faces Sri Lanka as an administrative problem involving dependencies on allies towards legislation, the smooth functioning of Parliament and most importantly National Unity which is constantly hampered consequently. !The constant popping in and out of the various turncoats of the ruling party do not contribute to the all important National Unity which consequently destabilises rather than consolidates as it would any administration given the circumstances and perhaps the President would be well advised to change his attitude from his present moderate and conciliatory one towards all his political opponents to one with a more stringent and less tolerant one towards those who constantly attempt to upend him towards their own agendas using the most puerile of means.

Two of the most visible in this category are fast turning out to be the leader of the opposition Ranil Wickremasinghe about whom enough cannot be said regarding his diabolical intentions and attempts to regain power through misleading the international community and general public and although not comrades in arms per se he has been joined in a manner of speaking in recent times by the leader of the Peoples Liberation Front (JVP) Somawansa Amerasinghe both apparently with the single minded purpose and objective of snatching the highest office in the land and are making more of a hash of the attempt through their puerile approaches rather than any progress which would never convince the people of Sri Lanka that these two would ever make good National leaders!

Given the state of affairs in Sri Lanka today it is more than likely that had either of these individuals been national leader, Sri Lanka would have more than likely have been mired in far worse circumstances both politically, economically as well as relative to the terrorist situation where all three areas are being equitably secured albeit slowly by the Rajapaksha Administration and something all Sri Lankans should be thankful for whilst disregarding the shallow rhetoric of these pretenders to the throne whose collective guises are beginning to appear more and more like those of fallen angels!

It seems uncanny that both Ranil Wickremasinghe and Somawansa Amerasinghe are treading the same concerted path of aspirations to be national leader and linked to the same if not similar idealogy where their slogan is "This Government Needs To be Brough Down Definitely! Me Being The One Best Equipped To Take Over" which should be posted nation wide on billboards with the caption National Joke!

The former had his chances and should never be permitted any leeway towards the objective at hand as he has proved to be every inch a traitor to the Sinhala Nation, a bungler and a collaborator even with his enemies if necessary together with his power hungry and financially greedy cronies and the latter despite the good intentions and patriotic fervour he once showed at the inception of his political career, while not being a traitor to the Nation is now beginning to show an impure weakness through his manouverings and idealogies that it appears to be a hunger for power than the best interests of the Nation that motivates him and to their great chagrin and by virtue of their regular verbal bunglings they seem to outsource themselves and project President Rajapaksha higher and higher into the category of who seems best equipped to govern.

Ranil Wickremesinghe has been appropriately quoted as being a walking comedy of errors who not only belittles the advances of the Security Forces in their drive to secure the North and East of Sri Lanka being executed in a very convincing and succsessful manner and rather than congratulating them on their incredible victories over the LTTE terrorists he descends to the level of an imbecile with ingratitude scoffing at the very Forces that protect him, his loved ones and the rest of the Nation and should hang his head in shame. He hardly attests to the fact that he owes his personal safety to the very forces he ridicules who are risking their lives to protect him on an on going basis and displays an attitude which has nothing to do with the ridiculous or the sublime, as one would normally tend to align such individuals with but is based on pure selfish motivations and a load of ignorance laced with an irresponsibility towards his native land which seems beyong comprehension!

Individuals with such attitudes could be dangerous to the Nation if they are permitted carte blanche to wag their tongues at will especially to the International Community and act as though they are the founding fathers of the Nation when in recent times their motley crew with little patriotic fervour to write home about have really contributed towards many impediments the Administration has had to face towards maintaining a favourable equilibrium towards the progress of the Nation where one cannot forget many attempts to influnce donors of foreign aid negatively as part of a pitiful band of dissatisfied politicians to whom revenge seems more important than the progress of the Nation and their transparencies towards their objectives stick out so painfully.

Under the mantle of free speech and pseudo democracy it seems the order of the day that politics of the dirtiest nature holds sway in Sri Lanka and its perpetrators continue in gay abandon quite disregarding the turmoil they could initiate if the wrong eventuality manifested itself and ther Nation's enemies consequently gained any advantage towards their objectives where all the Natiion destructive forces with their help came together taking advantage of a cancer which was eating into the inner core of Sinhala National Unity which presents itself in the form of individuals who by hook or by crook attempt to overthrow the present Administration and catastrophic would be the day if they were ever successful!

It is upto the Administration and the strengths and wisdoms of all its allies if necessary to prevent such an eventuality unforseeable as it may seem using all the legitimate means available as the Ruling Party, while synonymously incarcerating those whose aspirations to cause National distress by fomenting dormant fires of unrest and inciting the masses and would be of primary concern as rearguard action against conspirators against a Sovereign Nation!
