Presidential Conciliation Towards The LTTE Dangerous To The Nation!

Perhaps it is time to call a halt to the wave of Presidential pragmatism which has permeated the country since he was voted into office as it has neither brought about a change in the attitude of the Nation's enemies towards any reconciliation with the rest of Sri Lanka nor has it to any appreciable degree resolved the Nation's woes either economically or the releasing of apprehensive tensions of what the LTTE's next move might be!
There comes a time when even the hardest cookie crumbles despite how hard it has been baked and its flavour lost to a wayward wind which carries it into the inevitable oblivion! If such is going to be the legacy of President Rajapaksha with a penchant for his kindness and for showing mercy and compassion in equal measure to all Lankans including those who are in all probabilities at this very moment plotting and planning his removal from the highest state of office and certainly not through very genteel means he is going to be a sore loser at the end of it all despite the pragmatism which has never been an effective tool towards eradicating terrorists!!

The recent selective responses by many qualified critics who constantly overview the political manoverings of President Mahinda Rajapakse’s magnanimity towards his enemies have labelled them dangerous and in all likelihood could have ramifications beyond his comprehension albeit a negative response to a seemingly positive leader which cannot camouflage the brevity of recognition of his charisma which to all intents and purposes seem to be evaporating as the Nation once again fears measured onslaughts from a near invisible enemy on the basis that tolerance and ahimsa never detered the LTTE from carrying out their nefeariouly vicious campaigns against the State and realistically the President is accomplishing nothing with this stance of his perhaps intended to appease the wrong sources for all the wrong reasons!

Taking into consideration the latest public outcry against Presidential conciliation which provided a safe passage to and from Colombo for a onetime ruthless killer now turned political spokesperson for the LTTE- Daya Master there seems to be perfect justification for the manner in which the Majority Sinhala Nation has reacted in anger to this gesture of his. It needs no rocket science to envision the true nature of this contemptible individual and LTTE terrorist Daya Master who is a taskmaster at his game for carrying out the LTTE’s malicious propaganda campaigns more often than not laced in lies, innuendo and cooked up hallucinations transposed into entreaties to the International Community intended to portray the Sri Lankan government and the people of Sri Lanka as the wrongdoers relative to what the world now knows as an internal armed insurrection by malicious terrorists rather than a freedom struggle of an oppresed ethnic community which is all the master innuendo of Mr.Master seems to be able to muster and someone who has acquired the perfect name for himself as a replacement for his real Dravidianly tardy unpronouncable handle!

The world needs to be made aware that the modus operandi of the Daya Master fabric of lies enmeshes the complete denial of all LTTE atrocities including suicide bombings, and manipulates cleverly worded misinformation campaigns broadcast shamelessly with hardly a conscience to the world purely to garner sympathy and that the world now needs to look beyond the Master crocodile tears and exposee of graphic art in its liveliest form combined with the theatrics which would put to shame any Punch and Judy Show by way of sheer unmitigated false representation. As the world is now well aware, the LTTE have responded to the kindness extended to this pathetic individual by murdering in cold blood 15 Government soldiers and had it not been for their bravery and loyalty could well have accounted for the life of Cabinet Minister Rambukwella who was out campaigning towards the Government's cause for reconciliation!

It therefore seems quite disparaging and disconcerting to the Nation that President Rajapakse should ever expect any gratitude from any terrorists who have caused so much tangible and psychological damage to the Sovereign Nation of Sri Lanka. A Nation quite concerned about the direction in which he is headed short of being suicidal and reckless. As things stand in Sri Lanka with respect to the outlawed LTTE there realistically can be no condescending of any manner to their particular brand of terrorism where the stock phrases of Ahimsa might be fruitfully coined with rational human beings rather than a bunch of rabid curs who need to be effectively destroyed and wiped out ere their rabidity spreads and completely overwhelms the Nation of Sri Lanka! A very real concern at the present time which has even inspired the great Nation of China to comment that it would stand unreservedly towards protecting Sri Lanka from her terrorist oppresiors given the opportunity and provided the request was made, inspiration and food for thought for others to emulate beyond their lip service! Cause enough for India to eat her heart out also!

It probably needs a bit of concerted nudging of the President's inner cognizance which seems to be taking an unscheduled nap to be awakened to the awareness that the LTTE terrorist enclave's rank ingratitude to the magnanimity of the President has been clearly evidenced through the manner in which the Tamil Terrorist supportive media has deliberately shelved it . The better known pro LTTE website Tamil Net completely ignores much of it as does several others whenever the President extends kindness and the terrorist's ingratitude and scorn has been made clearly manifest through the subsequent attack on the soldiers which has confirmed beyond reasonable doubt what must be envisioned and confirmed as outright LTTE mendacity so what is the President aiming at and what is he truly trying to accomplish by what many in the West would term derriere licking of an ungainly and unlikely entity?

Taking into consideration the pitiful track record of the LTTE and their multi faceted albeit putridly wretched attempts to destroy the majority Sinhala Nation with hardly a measure of real success where the proportionate disparity alone entails 75% Sinhalese against a puny 14% or less of Tamils of which a mere miniscule now supports the LTTE misguidedly knowing fully that their days could very well be numbered the LTTE have no legitimacy towards anything Sri Lankan and their fight to survive against all odds an unecessary evil needing Governmental confrontation in the best interests of all Sri Lankans with the prime objective of being put down!
