The coming together of great minds towards the common cause of dismantling the Tamil Tiger organization of their terrorist activities has shed much light on the need towards this accomplishment. The latest voice towards this cause has been heard in the Upper House of the British Parliament, the House of Lords, that of Lord Naseby which augurs well towards Sri Lanka's urgent need to invalidate the menace of the LTTE whose vapid vacillations about their intended direction towards Peace in Sri Lanka can no longer be accepted with any credibility.

Just recently the New York based 'Human Rights Watch' also profiled the LTTE and their modus operandi towards continued fund raising purported to be for the specific cause of a final shake at accomplishing their objectives towards secession where they subjected Sri Lankan Tamils living in the United Kingdom, Canada and other Western countries to intimidation, extortion and varying degrees of coercive violence towards their fund raising campaign specifically for their "operations" in Sri Lanka in quoting Lord Naseby as he addressed the House of Lords. He has expressed dismay that the British Government is not pressuring the LTTE enough to ensure that the ban on the LTTE is properly implemented and time appropriate for the British and other world nations to enforce the proscriptions of the LTTE,( some countries still remaining apathetically on the fence about full proscription ) to fullest measure and digress from lip service alone while the LTTE pussyfoot their way through all the litigated proscriptions without restraint with a little help from buddies like Norway and the voicings of their proxies !

In a remarkably unequivocal expression of discontent to the media, Lord Naseby with no mincing of words has said that quote unquote "although the LTTE is proscribed in the UK, there are still illegal meetings taking place, illegal collection of funds, money laundering and there exists a highly dubious charity called 'White Pigeon'. The British government needs to exert pressure to halt these illegal happenings," portraying vividly, albeit these activities not being recent manifestations! being common knowledge to the more discerning the world over. The almost lackadaisical attitude of the British Authorities who need to gear up their approach towards helping the cause against global terrorism in a more tangible manner than at present and to fully investigate the activities of the likes of Anton Balasingham now have an obligation to fulfill towards Lord Naseby's message. Point in case for Canada also who stay deportatoion orders of indicted LTTE activists with proven track records where Canada has been a hotbed of LTTE activity for years now and a fact well documented in the local media and known to security agencies such as CISIS and the law enforcement agency the RCMP!!

In utter disdain and perhaps even disgust, he has pointed out how the LTTE hold their "Heroes’ Day" celebrations in London every year and stressed the need for the British Home Office and the Metropolitan Police to get together towards discouraging and preventing such activities.Synonymously there awaits a response to this identical felt need in countries such as Canada and even Norway where LTTE activities are tolerated with abandon where rather than making a mockery of all the accords set in place by the Global Coalition against terror after the 9/11 attacks in the USA these countries and the rest of the world which have any consciences towards the ramifications which are linked to terrorism should tighten the screws towards expunging the dangers, organizations such as the LTTE pose to a free world order.

While the Sri Lankan Administration think little about granting leeaway towards LTTE activities perhaps as a result of taking to heart too much of the innuendo and fabrications towards their justifications and entitlements presented through LTTE rhetoric broadcast by theoreticians such as Anton Balasingham a British citizen domiciled in the UK, Lord Naseby is in complete agreement as any sane and rational representative of any Democratic Nation would be, that Balasingham has no special rights to promote the LTTE while it is common knowledge internationally that he is doing exactly this in direct violation of British Law. There have been allusions to likely consequences for Balasingham as a result of his activities in the UK and hopefully they will be manifest in the near future in the best interests of all concerned. Particularly the well being of Sri Lanka which can well do without the platforms being created by Balasingham in the false guise of a theoretician whereas in reality he happens to be a harbinger of evil towards LTTE objectives, themselves befitting the unenviable title "The Axis Of Evil In Sri Lanka " and have been for over four decades!The buck has to stop somewhere and perhaps Lord Naseby's interjections are a valid commencement point towards what may eventually transpire as Sri lanka's redemption from the devil himself!

This is a high peer of the British Judiciary and Gentry, highly respected on both sides of the Atlantic as well as the Indian Ocean and someone who has visited Sri Lanka and has met with President Mahinda Rajapakse, whom he recognizes as a practical leader willing to negotiate on most rational issues and respects the value of dialogue without taking a radical stance.There have been many accollades presented to the President of Sri Lanka by this prominent personality where his condemnations of tolerance towards the likes of Anton Balasingham stands out as a clear message to those who continue to downplay his past activities which projected many LTTE attrocities in the past and certainly a voice to be heeded!

On a more exuberant and positive note however and perhaps to ease the pressure on Sri Lanka's Status Quo to deliver in the manner it sees fit what the Nation expects of its new President towards posterity he has applauded the resumption of peace negotiations after the three year impasse where the need for both sides in the fracas to uphold the cease-fire agreement and move forward towards achieving lasting peace has been stressed as a priority and has avoided direct reference to, (with tacit diplomacy in typical British fashion towards the protocols involved )the impediments the likes of Balasingham and his Norwegian cronies could provide towards its accomplishment, which really goes without saying as they continue to be a spoke in the wheel of a lasting peace as long as the LTTE are granted any recognition in their guise as fully armed terrorists!
