Finally the British Authorities have made at least a token gesture to acknowledge that Britain does indeed recognize the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as international terrorists contrary to popular belief against the reality.They have indeed made a very courageous and obviously justified move in the right direction!"Take a page from their book you world powers which palaver and pander to their needs in some cases and be inspired to continue the relentless pursuit of the terrorist scourge which has plagued and continues to plage the Sovereign Nation of Sri Lanka today.Let no stone be unturned towards the objective! Let's raise a glass to this latest British Action against the LTTE which is significant as one against all forms of terrorism!!

A.C.Shanthan, a relative of LTTE leader and formerly closely associated with a "Col Kittu" who committed suicide when confronted by the Indian Navy, was arrested early yesterday morning by the British anti-terrorism police and intelligence agents at his house.The individual Shanthan is said to be the President of the British Tamil Association but police intelligence has drawn conclusions through investigative research that he is the LTTE's UK head honcho.Also arrested yesterday morning was 29-year old Goldan Lambert also from the BTA.Other associates of these individuals are also being closely watched and their movements monitored it has been reliably learned as the British mean business this time around!!

When more than 20 armed policemen surrounded his house and arrested Shanthan in connection with LTTE activities which are prohibited in the Britain because the LTTE is a proscribed organization in the country they were setting a precedent to all nations which wrongly and misguidedly consider the LTTE' a legitimate' entiity as opposed to being illegitimate and in particular Sri Lanka which has not as yet proscribed them despite being the most injured by way of LTTE attrocities over decades with severe scars both physically and economically to show for it and a focal point for many discerning analysts of world terrorism as a grave Faux Pas but sadly also projects the Sri Lankan Administration as a spineless and weak kneed one in the manner of its predecessors which has failed to take that all important action towards settling the terrorist issue once and for all knowing fully well the capabilities of the Armed Forces to carry out a final operation with no holds barred that will decimate the unrelenting, non rehabitable terrorists within Sri Lanka and then begin the sane and logical process of restoring the rights of all freeedom loving non terrorist supportive Tamils whose sufferings are inflicted by Prabhakaran and the LTTE than by the Government of Sri Lanka which havs succoured them in the greater scheme of things!

The arrests are an aftermath to the British Police's extensive monitoring of their activities for a long time and made after these individuals had organized a large meeting at London's Hyde Park in support of the LTTE and speakers praising the LTTE and its leader openly while displaying LTTE Flags and somewhat brazenly, given the consideration tha the LTTE are banned in Britain! All kudos to the British Government and its law enforcement agencies for their action which now needs to be followed up globally!particularly in countries such as Canada, Norway and Switzerland where the LTTE still seem to have carte blance and leeway towards their illegal existences, fund raising for terrorist activities through criminal means and are tolerated for reasons best known to these countries rather than being apprehended in like manner to this latest British action!

Police intelligence has revealed that the individual Shanthan was involved in numerous illegal activities in Britain such as abduction, illegal detentions, harassment and torture of Tamils who opposed the LTTE in London where British the Police Force has had information from several other police forces and from investigations after the arrest in India of one Ilankovan, a shareholder of Tamilini, a cash-and-carry store in the UK also known to be an LTTE supportive where the arrested individuals are also known to be part of a money laundering operation. for the LTTE using several money exchange businesses including some situated in Central London.where recently the LTTE has been trying to sell several of its assets including property according to news sources in near desperation as their mood was described to be! This is typical of almost all of the LTTE supportive Tamil Diaspora activities globally some of which are swept under the carpet by powerful international sources who really should take notice of this courageous British move as an object lesson and focus on a collective need to drive them and all terrorists off the face of the earth!!

Shanthan and his criminal consorts have been monitored by British police because of reports that members of the Tamil community have been harrassed and forced to donate funds to the LTTE. Many Tamil businessmen and families have been forced to contribute towards the "final war that well know LTTE pipe dream which will never manifest itself in any real perspective. They have been even threatened with abduction and death to their loved ones in Britain as well as Sri lanka if they do not contribute,which magnifies the extend of the criminalities involved.

There are reported links to this operation of one Daya Master, another LTTE supportive of notoriety who returned to the Wanni and is one of the LTTE's spokesmen alongside Rasiah Illyanthirayan noted mainly for presenting falsified information on LTTE feats in the North and East where to all intents and purposes they are on the run. The consequent speculation is that the motivation for the LTTE urgencies to raise funds and augment their finances has been the need to buy arms urgently in order to meet the relentless military attacks in the Jaffna peninsula which are being carried out effectively by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces as heavy casualties in the terrorist side are reported daily by very reliable sources and confirmed statistics.

In appraisal of the British arrests it has to be emphasized also that the likes of Velupillai Prabhakaran, Rasaiyah Illyanthirayan, SP Thamilselvam, Daya Master and the rest of the LTTE consorts to their terror campaign who openly declare themselves as freedom fighters but are none but a bunch of cheap, low life criminals with murderous and destructive intent also need to be rounded up and made to face punishment for their crimes against humanity which should follow due process towards the elimination of LTTE terrorism in Sri Lanka.

The recent furore caused by the stringent action of the Government of Sri Lanka to expel LTTE supportives from the Capital Colombo needs to be mirrored justifiably against this recent British action as a necessary step taken with even greater indemnities towards Sri Lankan National Security ! one which was scorned by some of the blinkered big wigs of the International Community with a one track mind and pitifully fomented by the opportunistic manouvers of certain Sri Lankan opposition parties in parliament spearheaded by Sri lanka's ignominious former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe also known to be a contributor towards the leniencies and tolerances of the LTTE terrorists during his tenure in high office where, had his direction been as forceful as that of the British Government in this instance the LTTE may have been defeated a long time ago!( the relative analogies to be taken proportionately of course!)
