The Relentless Push By The Armed Forces With Governmental Backing Needs To Be Maintained Towards Posterity With No Holding Back!

It needs to be emphasized that the scenario unfolding within Sri Lanka today is the fallout of a terrible faux pas by the LTTE whose attempt to assassinate the commander of the Armed Forces Lieut.Gen.Sarath Fonseka has horribly backfired on them and they are now on the verge of elimination.The retributions due for the assassination of many national leaders and the wanton destruction of public property and the killing of innocent civillians to name just a few of the LTTE attrocities which almost brought a Sovereign Nation to its knees seems the making of history and a thing of the past where the realities of a Nation's true freedom are being finally locked into place and the dastardly criminals who held it to ransom are now on their way out for good!

To look at it objectively with all due considerations to the trauma and suffering once inflicted on the Commander of the Armed Forces where a suicide bomb attack inside the headquarters by a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) saw Lieut. Gen. Fonseka seriously injured and hospitalised for months it has inspired the steely grit and resolve of the single most capable military leader in the history of the conflict towards a modus operandi that is more than likely to see the complete demise of the terrorists which has certainly served his Nation very well and all commendations and expressions of gratitude are due to this noble Sinhala Military leader in the role he has played and continues to play in the liberation of the Nation from the hands of mendacious terrorists!

To reiterate the words of one astute observer who wrote "Yet, that only steeled his resolve to wipe out the world’s most ruthless terrorist organization, whose members parade themselves as freedom fighters for Sri Lanka’s minority Tamil population an understatement given the magnitude of his dedications the accollades alone aren't sufficient towards the recognition of this proud son of Lanka whose resolve has stood almost singlehandedly between the terrorists and the protection of the Nation of Sri Lanka where of course the assistance of the Navy and Air Force and by no means least the Sri Lankan Police Force where related leaderships and personnel too have contributed yeoman services towards the task which at this stage cannot be ursurped by any circumstances or individuals detrimental towards the objective namely maintaining the Unitarity, Sovereignity and Territorial Integrity of Sri Lanka.

Regardless of the hooing and haaing of the pundits, mostly pro LTTE sycophants who still maintain that the Tamil Tigers are not a spent force and that there still is life within them to endanger Sri Lanka, a matter of interpretation for the more discerning perhaps where statistics today prove that the LTTE are being decimated from many fronts and most of their so called strongholds have been overrun by the Forces with perhaps two areas of stubborn LTTE resistance still standing where it will be a matter of time before they too are overrun and a bitter pill for both the LTTE supportives and the Prabhakaran Brigade to swallow.

Speaking of pills should Prabhakaran have his way on being cornered there will be a pill at his disposal which requires no description.This essentially confounds the expectations from various extraneous sources including the USA that he might be apprehended alive which is fantasy where to be realistic the only Prabhakaran the Armed Forces will eventually recover will be one where rigor mortis perhaps would have set in long befor the Armed Forces reach him that is unless almost miraculously the Prabhakaran Brigade suddenly comes clean with outstretched armes for the cuffs while relenting their crimes and laying down arms which is an unlikely scenario!

Simply put under the direct command of Lieut.Gen.Fonseka and the vast military resources at his disposal the Armed Forces have inflicted body blows on the LTTE from which they are not likely to recover as long as the advantages gained militarily are not relaxed which then necessitates the importance of the Rajapaksha regime's continuity as the ruling party.It is the Rajapaksha Regimes faith in its Armed Forces and the undivided backing provided towards the task that has initiated what many in Sri Lanka thought impossible, namely overunning the tigers but today it has made beleivers of the skeptics as the impending demise of the Tamil tigers continue to unfold within Sri Lanka today as a distinct possibilitytowards closure!

There will be much Nation building needed in the near future and the restoration of the rights of the oppressed masses of humanity amongst all communities some of whom have been gravely displaced from their livelihoods and existences as a result of the mendaciousness of the LTTE and it is for this service of restoration that the present Administration and its Armed Forces which needs to be recognized most of all and bolstered towards posterity and there can be no turning back from the direction taken towards ridding the Nation of the vermin which has plagued it for several decades and no holding back the outpourings of gratitude for an Administration and its able Armed Forces for a job well done.

The task is by no means over yet albeit the end apparently in sight which can only be accomplished as closure if the LTTE are wiped off the face of Sri Lanka despite their feeble bleatings which continue to insist they will not be defeated, as the present situation in the Nation given the statistics all but attests to the contrary. All their sporadic cells some of which have now infiltrated parts of Southern Sri Lanka also need to be flushed out and cleaned up inasmuch as the North and East of Sri Lanka and law and order maintained to ensure that their covert effectivity which once suggested a capability to penetrate built up Sinhala areas needs to be systematically and continuously crushed as is the case today thanks to the vigilance of civilians in collaboration with local policing and done with stringent efficiencies which will not tolerate any opportunism both within the camps of the political oppopnents of the present regime as well as the LTTE supportives who continue to post false propaganda that the terrorists are freedom fighters, towards their own agendas but are no more than a group of cowardly terrorists whose so called efficiencies are becoming a thing of the past as all terrorist organizations eventually end up being!
The relentless push by the Armed Forces towards this objective need to be maintained with Governmental backing towards posterity and no holding back!!
