Not A Time For The Pundits To Preach Compassion As The Measures Needed To Quell The LTTE Need To be More Stringent Rather Than Conciliatory!

While it is to a degree understandable that a theme of compassion is not ungainly in being extended towards one's enemies it does not most unfortunately apply to ruthless terrorists who have no compunction to kill and maim anyone in their path towards their own objectives.This has to be the only equation applicable to the LTTE and anyone who contradicts this is merely paving the way for the LTTE to further assure themselves that regardless of what they do they have an unwritten obligatory response by the Government of Sri Lanka to be conciliatory to their terrorist measures even at the height of theatrical manouvres as in the case of Daya Master and previously to him Soosai the so called LTTE Naval Cadre who both attracted the attention of the Sri Lankan Government by their false claims to be sick and were palavered to at the taxpayer's expense much to the anger and chagrin of a greater proportion of the Sinhala Nation that seems to think a bit more sensibly than the preachers of an inapplicable compassion towards them only to be mowed down by their resurgent premeditated violence which truly needs no leniency! Justifying this very concept just this very morning in the wee hours in Colombo, the secretary of the EPDP has been ruthlessly gunned down and murdered by LTTE terrorists who carried out their assasination in typical fashion and rode away unchallenged on a motorcycle!

While certain misguided exponents of hollow dogma ludicrously harp on the theme that all those who are up in arms against the Government's ungainly policy to accommodate all of the LTTE's' play acting are contentious and that these are"the chauvinist groups in the South", who cause a loud cry and agitate against the decision of the Government to facilitate medical treatment as in the case of the very mildly put terminology describing Daya master as 'LTTE media spokesman as opposed to the more realistic' LTTE hit man and assassin of a very violent nature?)' Daya Master et al by sheer virtue of their involvement with the LTTE. What's truly tragic here is to observe the apathy of these critics who seem to be blinkered to the reality that it is not a matter of compassion or kindness that is imperative here but the Security of the Nation where pathetic wimps such as Master and Soosai are merely toying with the Government's credibilities towards upholding the ceasefire while the LTTE cintinue to ridicule it.

It is therefore irrelevant whether the protestations are led by religious clergy or groups with a nationalistic fervour beyond the comprehension of these dubiuous critics and to cite Buddhist Dogma at a time when the Nation is being imperilled by a bunch of murderers adds much credence to the concept that these persons are moving from the sublime to the ridiculous while theorizing a situation that needs measures more than a Sunday Sermon or Pirith to quell ere the entire Nation is plagued by further LTTE attrocities and are better off maintaining a code of silence unless they have something tangible towards the Nation's defence to offer which does not seem to be the case! A simple question of putting up or shutting up!

What they also fail to realise judging by their constant reference to 'War" is that this is more of an internal armed insurrection by proscribed terrorists attempting to bring down a Sovereign Nation nin its entirety and not a war being waged between two nations where the lunacy or idiotic comprehensions of these theorists need to be rehabilitated toward rational thought and not wayward musings where the rhetoric is sometimes ndicative of dementia!

It must be highlighted that short of being LTTE propaganda there can be no credibility granted to any organization whether it be MONLAR, POLPALA or any other flybynight organization that atributes high praise towards Governmental facilitation in providing medical treatment of LTTE’s Daya Master as a means towards peace in Sri Lanka when realistically the despotic individual should have been apprehended and indicted for crimes against humanity as a precursor to what the LTTE can expect in the future! He was in all probabilities testing the waters of the Capital Colombo prior to another unexpected surge of LTTE attrocities where the Government has provided a hospital bed for the man to conduct his strategy rather than linking his vitals rather than a so called impaired heart to a surge of electromagnetic current to boost functioning!

LTTE sympathetic organizations have a great reputation for euphemisms which distance themselves from any responsibility towards the greatest national destruction perpetrated through the ethnic conflict which has undoubtedly aggravated the nation for four decades and shows no signs of respite from an LTTE initiated path of continued aggression and indeed perhaps is progressing towards further destruction of all the people of Sri Lanka and the reasons for this situation could be attributed to the failure of the Government to apply the appropriate means and remedial measures to quell the LTTE' s destructive path where it seems a fallacy to cite the grievances of minority communities when it is the majority Sinhala Nation that has been grieved the most!

A just solution needs to be arrived at post hase for all comunities in Sri Lanka and it does not appear as though this solution could be arrived at by playing along with LTTE theatrics, innuendo and at the end of it all, their ruthless campaigns of terror initiated murder and mayhem which uncannily seems to follow quite regularly as of late and seems to have been accepted in resignation by an obtuse Sri Lankan Government which continues to believe that the LTTE are a negotiable lot rather than a bunch of rabid curs who need to be destroyed ere they destroy the nation of Sri Lanka! and everything she has stood for over 2000 years!

Reconciliation, a healing process and a coming together of ethnicities are indeed an imperative and integral part of the solution to Sri Lanka's ethnic crisis but it certainly cannot be reached through palavering to armed, proscribed and internationally condemned terrorists with an agenda for secession! regardless of the purists who continue to preach the merits of resignation! Had this been the acceptable norm going back to history Sri Lanka might well have been overrun by invading Dravidians during the time of the Noble King Dutugemunu who withstood hordes of a foreign invasion to claim the ultimate victory albeit one against a noble Tamil King and a far cry from the wretchedly apathetic, homicidal and conscienceless LTTE of today who are a bunch of subhuman degenerates by comparison!

Whatever negotiations necessary if the preamble needs usage perhaps are those which need to be initiated after the scourge of the LTTE is removed from Sri Lanka, the entire region of South Asia and the world! where news is just coming in from Canada of how admirably the Canadian Government is taking charge of the situation and sizing out all those involved with the LTTE in that country, deemed a notorious and dangerous terror group and dealing with them effectively in immediate deportation perhaps a case in point for the Sri lankan Government never to bargain with terrorists rather than initiating the more stringent measure of elimination!
