Finally The Sword Of Damocles Has Fallen! It Needs To be Picked Up And Used To Smite The Enemy Mightily!

Finally the Sword of Damocles has fallen! That which hovered over the Sri Lankan Administration ever since the initial Peace Process and Ceasefire were signed with the brokering of Norway and the ulterior motives of Ranil Wickremasinghe whose idealogies were further replenished and re-furbished by the former President Kumaratunga now set in place! This now is no time to prevaricate on the importance of resorting to attack as the best form of defence on the part of Sri Lanka's Security forces to rid the Nation of the plague of the LTTE. It is reported the airstrikes and military action has already been initiated in the North and North East of Sri Lanka which is a positive start despite any bleatings by the International Community towards any negative feedback denouncing Sri lanka's response furthering the cause for dialogue! with insensitive conscionceless and ruthless imbecillic terrorists!

The chief of Sri Lanka's Army Maj.Gen.Sarath Fonseka has been among the casualties when a decrepid looking Tamil woman dressed to appear pregnant blew herself up near the military's Colombo headquarters in an attack the government blames on Tamil Tiger separatists opposed to the Nation's Peace Process. There is no reason to believe to the contrary that there was any other source behind the attack as this attack bears all the hallmarks of the LTTE and despite denials which are bound to follow the Government must now act swiftly efficiently and silently to confront and rid the Nation permanently of this cancer that is continuing eat into Sri lanka's administrative infrastructure and disrupt the lives of her people, purely because of Governmental restraint, moderation, tolerance and patience which has in all probabilities vented the objectives towards this explosion which has taken place on the evening of the 24th of April, about 1 kilometer (0.6 mile) from the President's office and the Central Bank. The bomber has blown herself up as the motorcade of Army Commander Sarath Fonseka was passing by and the Police have reported five bodyguards being killed also.

"A suicide-squad member jumped onto the motorcade"! national police spokesman Rienzie Perera has disclosed in a telephone interview from Colombo. He said at least 10 people were hurt and that Maj.Gen.Sarath Fonseka was undergoing surgery.
This is an indication of desperation by the LTTE who are trying their utmost to draw the Sri Lankan Security Forces on the orders of the Administration into a confrontation and perhaps towards the ultimate demise of the LTTE.The Government of Sri Lanka is in a catch 22 situation where appeasing Western opinion that moderation, tolerance and dialogue towards resolution is the best option as opposed to defending the Sovereignity, and Territorial Integrity of Sri Lanka while synonymously ridding the nation of a banned, outlawed and reprehensible group of terrorists seems to take greater precedence over the mindset of the West calling for restraint!

The absolutely blasphemous propaganda of the LTTE in creating a false scenario that the Government was trying to create a "war environment'' that could "jeopardize" the continuation of talks aimed at safeguarding a 2002 cease-fire seems astounding as just hours prior to the blast the LTTE has sent out a message to the media that they need to 'capture Jaffna' before any further Peace Talks could proceed and this alone has to be construed as a pre- cursor to the stark reality that the LTTE never have been or ever will be interested in a negotiated peace. Something the more moderate of the Tamil community needs to assimilate as they will never benefit by any inroads the LTTE could even hypothetically carve into Sri Lanka's majority Sinhala infrastructure unless they themselves are prepared to take up the vestiges of terrorism and lead disturbed existences which of course is rank folly!

There have been reports of the prescence suicide bomber squads in the Capital and security in Colombo has been tightened.The latest intelligence reports suggest that a Tiger suicide team was in the city according to Police chief Chandra Fernando where people are warned to exercise extreme caution in their movements around the city but with no reason for extreme panic as the situation appears to have been brought under control swiftly by the authorities. There however needs to be great vigillance exercised by all citizens in reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities post haste in an all out effort towards ridding the City of any latent terrorist threat!

All the latest LTTE propaganda being spread around the world wherever there are pockets of LTTE support points to the disinterest of the LTTE towards continuing Peace talks.They have conveniently pulled out of Norwegian-brokered talks that were to have opened in Geneva yesterday because of travel restrictions on their officials and renewed violence. The Government and rebels blame each other for increased violence since a February meeting, their first such talks in three years where the greater blame needs to rest on the terrorists whose modus operandi is now universally known alongside their insincerities also bearing in mind that the Sri lankan Armed Forces have every right to defend the Nation and its security at all times!

The Norwegian government in a sudden rush of veiled concern has said that it " condemned the horrific act in the strongest possible terms.'' as though they have been shocked into believing what has transpired when much points towards their cognizance of every LTTE move and intention. It was too early to assess how the attack would affect the peace process, Erik Nurnberg, spokesman for the Norwegian Embassy in Sri Lanka, said in a telephone interview as a now more than obvoius coverup becomes visible whete Norway should by rights be in all out condemnation of the damnable LTTE. It is perhaps a great responsibility on the part of Norway by virtue of meddling into areas beyond their mandate in order to secure and justify evey wretched move of the LTTE that the events which have taken place at this time has been manifest and perhaps time for the Government of Sri Lanka to jettison Norway from further involvevement in Sri Lankan matters involving the LTTE as is being now called for by many sources within Sri lanka and use less restraint towards dealing with the issue on the basis that the only good tiger is a dead tiger!

Sri Lanka's elite Armed Forces far outnumber the paltry LTTE by way of head count and far outweigh them in military superiority, intelligence, hardware and savvy. Given the fact that the LTTE have no more than a 5000 head count by approximation, comprising also of women and children and their bravado and belligerence based on cunning, cowardice and spineless yet rabid homicidal tendencies within a confined area which can easily be overrun systematically through a deliberate and concerted plan of military action by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces once and for all!! perhaps it is about time the order was given by Sri Lanka's Supreme CommanderIn Chief His Excellency the President where pragmatism now needs to revert to the back burner!

There is an added filip towards now recognizing the imperative and undeniable support of Col. Karuna and his Tamil freedom fighters where there should be no qualms towards granting Carte Blanche to their support openly where the reward should be an ultimate freedom of movement for Karuna towards the overall leadership of Sri Lankan Tamils who truly has to be seen as kingmaker in this situation given the right opportunities! to lead the more moderate Tamils of Sri Lanka into a free existence unencumbered by the autocracies of Prabhakaran. Balasingham and Thamilselvam the three despots and their lower order henchmen needing to be collared and capital punishment meted out for their crimes against SriLlanka, India and all of humanity in a greater perspective!

The Commander of the Armed Forces has undergone major surgery over several hours and is in stable but critical condition as this bulletin is being composed.The Nation of Sri Lanka, LankaWeb and all Sri Lankans in recognition of his wonderful leadership wish him a speedy recovery and offer prayers for his comfort and that of his family.
