Sri Lanka Needs To Be Expunged Of The LTTE Towards Posterity Rather Than Being Negotiated With As Obeisance To Foreign Aid Donors!

While the Sinhala Nation looks on helpelessly and is being battered in the North and East by the vermin which calls themselves ' liberation tigers' it has to be recognized that the LTTE are indeed getting away with murder and subterfuge at the worst level and moderation becomes a figure of speech if that be the answer to Sri Lanka's present woes at the hands of a murderous enemy who are not only in a visible minority but have no mandate even from the community they so vociferously proclaim to represent to any appreciable measure.

The world is calling upon Sri Lanka to act responsibly and certain internal human rights and disaster management watchdogs are urging the Nation to be on guard against tiger provocations which makes the task of the Sinhala Nation relative to normalcy that much harder as the ludicrousness of the situation becomes further apparent when in theory the tigers are being proscribed with many new nations joining in to the call while the onus is on Sri Lanka to exercise tolerance in the face of heinous massacres of innocent civilians and the Nation's Security Forces with impunity while the tigers make merry as they continue their spree of killings as the rest of the world indulges in meaningless rhetoric towards the cause. So is the worldly advice of the Aid Donors to be interpreted as a call to "Stand Up! Be Counted and them massacred ?" and if so where are they coming from?

The latest bit of accentuated humor comes in the guise of the exhortations from Japan. Norway and the USA who are donor nations who have threatened to pull out of their commitments towards providing foreign aid to Sri Lanka unless they resolve the LTTE conflict through negotiations and peaceful means with the tigers when they( the tigers) have virtually abrogated their responsibilities towards the peace process, are non negotiable towards any credibility and have now started a new campaign of terror albeit surreptitiously and covertly and have chosen a path of innuendo, denials and deceipt to hoodwink the international community while their attrocities continue and if there is any sense towards tolerating the LTTE any further it must rest with some divine concept where subjugation and capitulation to the viles of the devil must play a vital role towards decision making in Sri Lanka at the highest administrative level and perhaps not the best remedy to the situation in hand.

To boost the affirmation that the tigers are virtually geting away with murder, the latest attrocities of the Tigers bear testimony very graphically that they are indeed going to great lengths to tarnish Sri Lanka’s image in the prevailing circumstances with their pent up frustrations clearly visible. Try as they might however, they have failed to prevent Sri Lanka being appreciably labelled a violator of human rights where international sympathies have always rested on the Sovereign Rights of Sri Lanka and the attempts by the LTTE to ursurp it through their connivances related to mendacious terrorist upsurges of violence, contentious where Sri Lanka's earning of global recognition in the area of human rights has become a mere formality and a foregone conclusion as it is the LTTE who are culpable of it in the worst form and in the first place!

It has been appropriately suggested that the goal the Tigers’ were aiming at, now that they are slowly but surely becoming complete international outcasts, is to attempt to dilute Sri Lanka 's credibilities as firm upholders of human rights through LTTE theatrics. duplicity and all the pretences they can muster towards being involved in what they broadcast as a freedom struggle for the Tamils when it is in fact their last hurrah towards their own survival and a greater proportion than ever before of the Tamil Community openly proclaiming that they want no part of LTTE championing as they have been recognized for their net worth as a bunch of autocratic, confused, vapid and misguided terrorists who need to be put down due to their armed and dangerous nature and eliminated rather than negotiated with!

While segments of Tiger sympathizers comprising of overseas Tamil diaspora sympathetic towards LTTE terrorism seem to be living in the clouds that theirs is a worthy cause, the reality that the governments of their respective domiciles have come to recognize the so-called Liberation Tigers for what they really are have surely hit them right between the eyes and further towards their undoing they have as of late initiated major setbacks towards their existences through
1.the unprovoked attack on the Sri Lankan Naval craft Pearl Cruiser II. which was also carrying members of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission while escorting troops being transported to a military destination giving the monitors undeniable proof of their objectives and image as terrorists first hand and something they have admitted with reluctance being mainly LTTE sympathetic.

2. The wanton killings of a party of seven sightseeing V.I.P.tourists from Colombo which also included two persons from the Tamil Community, by detonating powered landmines killing them instantly which despite denials by the LTTE point to the graphic reality that it was an act perpetrated by them!

3.The massacre of 12 villagers in the Eastern Province taken from their workplace and butchered for no apparent reason other than to appease their blood lust!

This then is the group of so called Tamil representation which is now pointing fingers at the Sri Lankan Goverment with accusations of human rights violations with the intent to denigrate and bring disrepute but with no measure of succes given the realities, sanities, humanities and rationalities involved, none of which the LTTE could ever boast of as forte as they continue to outdo the bestialities of the very beasts they image themselves after!

Curiously the LTTE, who are not a signatories to any international convention on the rules of war or human rights, delude themselves that they have carte blanche towards their attrocities whereas the Sri Lanka Government is under obligation to probe allegations of human rights violations made against the State where it may be quoted as a recent repartee from official sources that" the Tigers neither acknowledge any attrocities they commit nor do they investigate allegations made against their cadres. They have absolutely no compunction in sinking to the lowest depths of human behaviour as proved by sending a pregnant suicide bomber to assassinate the army commander" and worse attrocities which have preceded this incident for decades portraying their evil nature. The list is endless!

The time is at hand perhaps to cast aside every indecision towards forging ahead in the best interests of the Nation where all impure impediments which stand in the way of Sri Lanka's progress into the future need to be removed permanently, rather than negotiated with kid gloves merely to appease foreign donors who seem to be blinkered to the reality that the vermin who call themselves the LTTE are systematically destroying a Sovereign Nation and rather than coming to Sri Lanka's aid with no holds barred are pontificating about the merits of tolerance and the prudence of rolling over and playing dead towards appeasing their cross eyed vision! Sri Lanka needs to be expunged of the LTTE and rid of them permanently if the expectations towards a realistic peace can be coined with logic and rationality!
