War is over but Western preaching and demands continue

At last! The day all patriotic Sri Lankans have been waiting for has arrived with the demise of Prabhakaran the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”mlechcha’ leader.

Needless to say, the country is rejoicing and President Rajapakse, Prime Minister Wickramanayake, Defence Chief Gotabhya Rajapakse, General Sarath Fonseka and other services chiefs all rightly deserve the accolades they are being offered by the people.

While the ending of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”curse’ was built primarily on the civilian and military leadership, the role played by the excellent team of government advisors on foreign affairs in handling the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”pressure’ being exerted by the so-called international community cannot be overestimated: the team, including people such as Mr basil Rajapakse, Dr Palitha Kohona, Professor Rajiva Wijesinha and Dr Dayan Jayatilleke played a crucial (and tireless) role in keeping the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”dogs’ away from the UN Security Council floor and other forums.

The task would have been well nigh impossible without the particular combination of intellectual capacity, understanding of the enemy and powers of persuasion they offered, and exercised so capably and diligently. Their effort resulted in the real international community – who comprises five sixths of the world population – not falling prey to the misinformation and bullying campaigns of the West; this team of advisors have earned their place in the annals of history of Sri Lanka.

Now to the task at hand, of dealing with continuing ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”demands’ of the self-appointed ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”masters of the universe’, on matters ranging from the so-called ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”political settlement’ to administering the law of the country. They choose to forget that the foundation to end the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”curse’ was laid on ignoring their advice dressed as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”theories of conflict resolutio’, the doctrine of invincibility of the LTTE (which they brainwashed the previous Sri Lankan administrations with), and the bogus peace summits which were organized as a pretext for gaining concessions for the LTTE. Details about their arms supplies and logistics support to the LTTE are yet to be revealed.

The reporting of the victory of the Armed forces over the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”mlechchas’ in the West, can only be described as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”unenthusiastic’ at best. This is never the result they wanted, especially amidst their cries of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”bloodbath’, and other colourful descriptions of the situation: a developing country independently achieving anything is anathema to their imperialistic ambitions and plots.

Leaders like President Rajapaksa are rare these days, after the first generation of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”post-independence’ leaders such as Indonesia’s Sukarno, Ghana’s Nkrumah and Congo’s Lumumba. With this victory, President Rajapakse has elevated himself to developing country leadership which no doubt, will be recognised by the real international community; they need it badly to survive the plots of the West. They recognize the threat!

Despite this context, the naked emperors, the US, UK and the EU, and their hidden columns consisting of the so-called media, the NGOs and plants within the UN system are continuing to spread lies, offer their prescriptions for the future and place demands on the humanitarian and Human Rights fronts; they simply will not give-up!

Some low level bureaucrat at the U.S. State Department points out: “This is an opportunity for Sri Lanka to turn the page on its past and build a Sri Lanka rooted in democracy, tolerance and respect for human rights.” Yes, Sir, we are here to serve the national interests of YOUR country, and not ours! Another report says that Western ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”powers’ urged the government to engage the Tamil community for the future; yes Sir, please teach us how to suck eggs!

Compare this uncivilized attempt to interfere with Sri Lanka’s internal affairs with the dignified and friendly tone of the Chinese remark that:”We genuinely hope that Sri Lanka can, THROUGH ITS OWN EFFORTS, realise ethnic reconciliation at the earliest stage, social stability and economic development”. This shows that money cannot buy culture, civilization and dignity! These are historical developments on strong ethical foundations. The West has none!

The demands relating to the release of three doctors, apparently detained by the government on breaches of their professional code of conduct and national security, are the most transparent of the naked attempts. It is astonishing that they demand that Sri Lanka stop applying its due legal process to these cases on the grounds that: “With the media banned from the war zone, the physicians were among the few sources of information on civilian casualties”. This statement inadvertently, provides proof that the three doctors ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”were’ passing on information to these thieves.

The list of supporters makes one spew: Amnesty International who could not afford a harsh word on behalf of those 147 innocent Afghans bombed out by the US is expressing ‘concern’ for the doctors’ welfare. Another front that calls itself ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Physicians for Human Rights’ demands the doctors be released.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

What is revolting and fascinating at the same time however, is the demand by that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”august’ body’, Reporters Without Borders, that they be not ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”punished’. They threaten that the government will be held responsible if the army’s military victory is accompanied by such criminal acts of revenge. The scum who wrote this codswallop should rather be looking for a new base for their leader who is not welcome within too many borders these days!
