We have been informed by the Royal Thai Embassy that a Thai delegation comprising four Representatives from the Thailand Textile Institute, Ministry of Industry of Thailand will visit Sri Lanka from 6 ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” 8 April 2011.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The delegation will be led by Mr. Virat Tandaechanurat, Executive director of Thailand Textile Institute.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The purpose of the Thai delegationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s visit to Sri Lanka is to exchange views on textile industry development and to explore the possibility for enhancing co-operation in the textile sector between Thailand and Sri Lanka in the future.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In this regard, a meeting with the delegation has been convened on Friday April 8, 2011 to facilitate an interaction with members of the Chamber.
