When the Tamil Tiger Terrorist leader Veloopillai Prabhakaran appointed 22 TERRORIST to the Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s parliament as the sole representative of LTTE, Sivajilingam in his maiden speech threatened the Government of Sri Lanka to send the 4000 Sri Lanka army personnel based in Jaffna in body bags to Colombo.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Speaker of the house at the time W.J.M.Loku Bandara EXPUNGED SivajilingamƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s maiden speech at the parliament from the Hanzard.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is the speaker of the house who has the power to expunge a parliamentarianƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s speech from the hanzard.
The writer on a numerous occasions wrote as DEROUGED which means adjournment of the parliament wheras the correct terminology is ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-expungedƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.
