   This is what was alleged by the freelance journalist who wrote under the heading: It is great stupidity if Editors, News Editors, Features Editors, Senior reporters and Media Directors of national Newspapers and the Electronic Media believe that media is above reproach.

   There is a need for Sri Lanka Freelance Journalists domiciled in Sri Lanka and abroad to group up to fight this menace which is definitely the cause of Anti-Sri Lankan elements financed by INGO’S, NGO’s and Foreign Diplomatic missions operating in the Media and Press gateways in the National mass-media who for a bottle of Wisky or a few dollars or for a foreign trip are suppressing the aspirations and inspirations of the patriotic Freelance Journalist of Sri Lanka, but they pretend to show that they are the guardians of “The Freedom of Expression” to the would be powers. Our dedicated security forces have defeated the ruthless LTTE militarily in May 2009. But the war against the LTTE ideology and the anti-Sri Lanka media locally and internationally is still to be won by Sri Lanka. The Freelance Journalists and writers should contribute more content that bring out the TRUTH and make COMMENTS that tell the TRUTH of our Motherland in the defence of our “MAATHRUBOOMIYA”.

   The Island Editor takes himself for the best and publishes his own editorial and articles of those like Jehan Perera . Prabhath is neither patriotic nor pro or anti government. He thinks he is an independent Editor but he is neither here nor there. Only credit I give him is his wrting which is good.

   S**m bags like Jehan gets columns in Island to maintain his profile – yes agree!

   It looks like the “Comments” section of the articles are there as a template, but seems that Island has never allocated any resources to actively use it.

   On a similar note, I have made many comments on Daily Mirror articles and have never been published, because as it seems, they only publish what they want others to see.. In many occasions, I have seen trails of comments with bias (that I think what they want to promote), and not publishing any alternative views..

   You have to decide who is better.. The Island that never publish comments or the Daily Mirror that publish comments, which suits their own agenda!

   It is the same in the US and UK newspapers…. Write a comment critical of Obama or Cameron or their countries’ ‘foreign policies’, that comment will be taken off within hours from the web.

   To get one’s comments into Island Newspaper, one needs to fall in line with Christian Prabhath Sahabandu’s Christian Agenda.

   Here’s an article in Foreign Affairs that is likely set ones blood boil.
   The comments section was open for awhile. My comment appeared for some 2 hours before comments section was closed
