President’s Language Suggests What Many Sri Lankans Believe That the TNA Are Still Tamil Tiger Propagandists.

It all points to the decorum and pragmatism of President Mahinda Rajapaksa who has made a statement on an issue which he has probably witheld all along towards maintaining certain related protocols yet endorsed by many discerning Sri Lankans that the TNA are indeed aspiring Tamil Tiger activists which they openly were when Velupillai Prabhakaran was at his mendacious worst and began backpedalling to cover their hides when he was eliminated.
ƒ”š‚ Today their bodylanguage and rhetoric are not much different albeit the surreptitious manner they choose to manoeuvre being indicative of a degree of caution which still is visible and effected towards maintaining their status as a political entity to which they have no real entitlement given their track record as LTTE supportives..
ƒ”š‚ Indicative of the limit to his patience he has accused the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) of taking forward the propaganda of slain LTTE leader Vellupilla Prabakaran which he in all probabilities should have done much earlier and the next step as many expect if the TNA continues unabated and unquelled perhaps is to debar them from active political participation on the singlemost importance of their pro Eelam track record which appears to continue to this day and related rhetoric, which would be a body blow to all aspiring Eelam and Tamil Tiger propagandists which should realistically have been a long time coming.
ƒ”š‚ The President was highlighting the election manifesto of the TNA which he refered to and presented to the public in Jaffna by the TNA. The President was addresing a rally in support of the UPFA candidates contesting the Northern Provincial Council elections, not mincing his words in saying that “there is no difference in what the TNA is saying today and what Prabakaran said back then” although he did not allude to the role theTNA played then as sycophants of the internal armed insurrection of the Tamil Tigers which goes without saying.
ƒ”š‚ The President is quoted as saying ƒ¢¢”š¬…”When you look at the election manifestos of some people today you find that they are asking for what was asked over four years ago. I will not let anyone divide this country the same way I did not allow Prabakran to do it. As a result of the war, Muslims and Sinhalese were forced out of their homes and democratic Tamil leaders were assassinated.
ƒ¢¢”š¬…”This government is firmly against racial discrimination. We respect all religions. We must get together to rebuild this country as Sri Lankans,ƒ¢¢”š¬‚ It was the message he conveyed in significant perspective which needs to be picked up by all those who discredit the President as an authoritarian, autocrat where the reality of the kind of leadership he has served Sri Lanka with is outstanding and has addressed the needs of all Sri Lankans in an environment that is not only daunting and challenging in post insurgent Sri Lanka but also hampered by the constant stumbling blocks presented by the likes of theTNA and their friends across the Palk Strait such as Karunanidhi, Vaiko, Jayalalitha and part of that somewhat dubious anti – Sri Lankan bandwagon who are the inspiration for how bold and non nation friendly the TNA more often than not appear to be .
ƒ”š‚ While it is very apparent, contrary to the beliefs of certain anti-Sri Lankan elemnts both within and without the country that the Northern Province has been given equal benefits similar to that given to other provinces following the end of the war he has stressed the reality that there are important iissues in the North entailing land, its distribution as well as many other issues that need to be addressed in order that all citizens in this area will be contented as they resume their lives and maintained that ” these will resolved in due course “
It seems time appropriate and in their best interests if they need to be accepted as genuine contributors to Sri Lanka’s political spectrum sans bi-partiasan leanings towards the minority Tamils some of whom still are Tamil Tiger sympathisers as opposed to the genuine freedom loving Tamils who have accepted the Government and have pitted their support towards it.
ƒ”š‚ Towards this the TNA needs to take an oath of allegiance towards suporting the Constitution and the maintenance of Sovereignity and Territorial Integrity and decry their aspirations towards the secession they continue to seek which is always an apparent feature in all of their actions and rhetoric or else may find themselves a political non-entity whose chances of serving the Sri Lankan Tamils might become null and void where they may be better off pursuing their ambits in the true homeland of the Tamils ~Tamil Nadu!

What does “GOSL will not Accept TNA PC Election Manifesto” MEAN?
Only “REGRET” … My God such PUSILLANIMITY in the face of TREASON against the Nation.
Will the GOSL 1. declare TNA Candidacy in the Election to be NULL & VOID, 2. ARREST, PROSECUTE, CONVICT and PUNISH the TNA Leaders for TREASON?, and 3. PROSCRIBE the TNA (and the ITAK, and the constituent parties of the ITAK) as an Organization allowed to engage in POLITICS in Sri Lanka?
Or is this ALL SMOKE and NO FIRE to fool the voters of Sri Lanka AGAIN?

Sri Lankan government not to accept the Tamil party election manifesto

Sept 12, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government says it cannot accept the election manifesto of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) for the Northern Provincial Council.
Cabinet Spokesperson, Minister Keheliya Rambukwella told a news conference that the government regrets the contents of the TNA election manifesto.
He said that the government could not accept the manifesto as it contravenes the Constitution of the country.
In its election manifesto, the TNA, once considered as a proxy for the terrorist group LTTE during the war, has called for establishing power sharing arrangements in a unit of a merged Northern and Eastern Provinces based on a Federal structure.
According to Rambukwella, there are attempts by some groups to initiate legal action against the TNA manifesto to get a restraining order against it before the Northern Provincial Council election this month.
Sri Lanka Lawyers’ Guild said they will file a case in the Supreme Court against the TNA’s election manifesto as it was against the Constitution of the country since the proclamation of self-rule in the manifesto is a violation of the Sri Lanka Constitution.
The TNA says the manifesto emphasizes the political aspirations of the Tamils, while upholding the integrity of the country.
TNA parliamentarian M.A. Sumanthiran said the party’s election manifesto while being prepared to uphold the right of self-determination of the Tamils would also preserve the integrity of the country.

There is a saying in the US “If it quacks like a duck, if it walks like a duck and if it looks like a duck then it must be a duck”. The Tamil National Alliance “sounds like the LITE, behaves like the LITE and it’s manifesto is the words of the LITE which would only mean that the TNA is the new face of the LITE and should be destroyed , literally destroyed. Their bank accounts seized, their property confiscated, their positions removed and their freedom stripped. Then charge them and sentence them to CAPITAL PUNISHMENT – HANG THEM FROM THE HIGHEST TREE FOR ALL TO SEE.

Four arrested in Sri Lanka for distributing a newspaper with Prabhakaran’s photo in Jaffna

Sept 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka Police have arrested four people in the Northern Province city of Jaffna under suspicion of promoting subversion while distributing a newspaper with a photo of the slain Tamil Tiger terrorist leader.
The individuals were arrested at Kodikamam in Jaffna as they were distributing newspaper carrying a photo of late leader of rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam (LTTE) Velupillai Prabhakaran.
Police say that the newspaper carried a title “How Prabhakaran became a great hero.” The newspaper also carried a photo of the Tamil National Alliance Chief Minister candidate C. Vigneswaran.
Political sources say that the arrested persons were canvassing for the Tamil National Alliance Provincial Council election campaign.
The newspaper named Veedu meant the electoral symbol of Tamil National Alliance.

H. E. The President of Sri Lanka I am positive is well aware of the political of agenda of the TNA. TNA picked Retired Supreme Court Judge Canagasabapathy Viswalingam Wigneswaran as Chief Ministerial candidate for the Northern Provincial Council Polls. Judge Wigneswaran is well known as a Colombo man with quite a substantial Sinhala as well as tamil relatives and friends. After all both his sons are married to Sinhalese women.
But when Wignewaran goes to Velvettiturai, and praises the most efficient killing machine of the 20th century, Velupillai Prabhakaran he lets the cat out of the bag. This man is playing for his LTTE loving Tamil Diaspora and his TNA handlers who are glorifying Prabhakaran and his killing machine and is nothing but a propaganda machine for LTTE. Even Navi Pillay demanded the tamils not to glorify Prabhakaran and the LTTE. This is a big slap in Pillay’s face too. Where is Wigneswaran heading and more than anything else where is TNA heading.
One should not be surprised to see the elections being called off. We all know politics are dirty. But when the very murderer who was responsible for neutralizing all the elite and smart tamil politicians, and caused misery and brought death and destruction to tens of thousands of tamils for the past 30 years is glorified one can imagine what a disappointment this man Wigneswaran is to the moderate tamils let alone us Sinhalese. So after all we know who this man is and what exactly TNA wants.

The LTTE proxy party the TNA, is presenting themselves as war criminals by continuing to associate with the goals of LTTE terrorists, even after the local LTTE have been comprehensively defeated. Maybe they are afraid of the LTTE diaspora.

The reason for TNA supporting the Diaspora that backs LTTE is obvious. They are the pay masters of the TNA. In fact Nediyavan controls the purse strings.
They pay for all the overseas trips, the entertainment while abroad, sometimes even for the hookers, for wining and dining those who so desire – of all the TNA henchmen. in return TNA dances to the music of Nediyawan and TGTE. At the same time Nediyawan and TGTE collect more funds from the fools of the Diaspora. It is a pertual motion machine.
The funds are collected mostly using coercion and enforcement. The Tamil propaganda machine is as sophisticated as their war machine. The overseas political arm that has handlers that deal with the US politicians whether Republicans or Democrats consist of the educated tamils who get in to offices of the US politicians as interns after finishing studies in the field of political science. In fact they assist various lower level under-secretaries of the more important policy leaders to prepare documents that are spat out as US policy.
We in Sri Lanka have no resources allocated to counter this segment of the Tamil Diaspora attack against Sri Lanka.
