   Thank you Dharmasiri for your guts to write about them,

   they have been either bought by Michell Seisson or mesmerized by her. Ever since she visited the Sri Dalada Maligawa, their stand has changed to pro-American, pro-Indian. They hate MR because MR is India’s and America’s enemy.

   This is pity. Ratana (mahaththaya) is doing everything with their blessing. They may have changed Ratana mahaththaya’s stance as previously he was independent of Pacha -Champika.

   Whatever it is, the Deities who protect Mother Lanka will not care about these traitors whether they are priests or layman. We should not worry!! Those who are coming forward to protect our motherland are already in the field without any appeal from anyone. It comes from their own hearts. Those who are in the other camp have no feeling towards their motherland..so it is a waste of time trying to change their view. They are already dead in their hearts.

   I feel like putting gold in your mouth for your courageous words Dharmasiri. This is not the first time this Mahanayaka uttered rubbish in front of the whole country. He is P.I.A. to Buddhism and the Sinhalese though he is a Buddhist and a Sinhalese. As head of our religion he should not take sides in politics. His job is to show MAITRI to each and every citizen alike. He should not be a paid servant of foreign or local Mafia but a disciple of Lord Buddha. Has he forgotten what Ranil and his cronies did in 2004 giving half of the country to the most ruthless killer Prabakaran? Has he forgotten how Ranil helped LTTE to kill our war heroes? Has he forgotten 83/89 JVP massacres? Has he forgotten the dead heroes and all the suffering we had for thirty long years. How can this lazy priest knows anything without coming out from his den. While thousands of Buddhist priests fighting to save the country very few western paid Priests like him utter just rubbish to please the traitors to this country.

   We need Lord Buddha’s blessings to free this land not this pumpkin shape Mahanayaka’s blessing. He should be condemned by all freedom loving citizens of this land for his unwanted comments. We should all rally behind Mahinda our great savior to free our nation from foreign interference and local coup leaders who are trying using all evil methods to destabilize the country.    The people of Sri Lanka have now seen the DESTRUCTION they have wrought:

   the National ECONOMY in tatters,
   National Infrastructure Development at a STANDSTILL,
   NO HELP from the Neo-Colonial Western Powers who EGGED them on to TREASON and engineered a coup-de-etat for a pittance paid to NGOs,
   Tamil Separatists behaving as if they ALREADY have their Separatist State of Eelam,
   MOST PROMISES of the 100 day Yahapalanaya program ABANDONED,
   Government Officials looting the National Treasury and the Central Bank,
   the UNELECTED but APPOINTED UNP behaving dictatorially as if they had an electoral MANDATE and promising DEVOLUTION to separatists,
   the value of the Sri Lankan rupee zooming downwards and the COST OF LIVING rocketing upwards,
   and a full blown WITCH HUNT of Political Opponents underway AS NEVER BEFORE in INDEPENDENT Sri Lanka!

   This has been the PRICE of Electoral Myopia !

   Who in his right mind would AGAIN VOTE for, or pay HEED to, these SERIAL BUNGLERS who having MISLED the Voters of Sri Lanka ONCE in January, 2015 at the Presidential Election want to REPEAT the same performance in August, 2015 at the General Election?

   The Sri Lankan people have HAD ENOUGH of these INEXPERIENCED BUNGLING IDIOTS who destroyed the war-winning government that was developing our Motherland at a breakneck pace!

   They know NOW the MONUMENTAL FOLLY of trusting these addle-pated JOKERS and greedy puppets of FOREIGN powers!

   Come August 2015, the Voters of Sri Lanka will LAUGH these JOKERS PERMANENTLY out of office!

   May the FOG of CONFUSION reign only in the minds of the UNFOG cartel, and not in the minds of the General Voting Public with their minds NOW CLARIFIED by the Antics and Bungling since the last Election.

   MOU to form the United National Front for Good Governance in Sri Lanka signed

   ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

   July 12, Colombo: The coalition partners, who contributed to the victory of January 8th election of President Maithripala Sirisena, have come forward to contest the upcoming parliamentary elections with the United National Party (UNP)as a new front and accordingly, have formed the United National Front for Good Governance.

   The Memorandum Of Understanding to form the United National Front for Good Governance was signed at the Temple Trees Sunday. The United National Front for good governance was signed under the patronage of the leaders and members of UNP, a section of SLFP, JHU, SLMC, Upcountry Tamil Alliance and Democratic Peoples’ Front.

   Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe and General Secretary of the UNP Kabir Hashim signed the MOU on behalf of the UNP. Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka and Venerable Athuraliye Rathana Thero signed it on behalf of the Jathika Hela Urumaya.

   Meanwhile, another MOU between the UNP and the Progressive Group of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) was also signed at the Temple Trees. Ministers Rajitha Senaratne, Arjuna Ranatunga and M K A D S Gunawardena signed for the Progressive Group of the SLFP.

   The political party leaders said that they decided to establish the Front to prevent the reversal of the political revolution that took place on the 8th of January.

   Noting that for the first time in the history, the United National Party is contesting the General Election as a broad Front, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe said they signed a new agreement to take forward, strengthen and implement the January 8th revolution. And the new government will establish good governance.

   He further said they have to face the attempts by former President Rajapaksa and his regime to disrupt the January 8th revolution and to grab the power again.

   The Prime Minister said that they decided to form a United Front to protect good governance and it has to work as a political movement. The United National Party will contest under the Elephant Symbol at this election and no one will lose their identity.

   He said that they have given the opportunity to be present in Parliament as separate groups. All communities in the country should be united. The democracy in the country should be strengthened and the country should move into a modern era, he said.

   Singhalese Buddhists are grateful to you Mr.Seneviratne, for addressing this issue. This is an excellent wake-up call to our Chief Prelates. Thibbotuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thero, the young Chief Prelate of Malwatte Chapter of Siyam Nikaaya hails from a “Radhala” family from Matale and most probably related to ”bandit queen”.

   In fact he was presented with his appointment in 2004 by the ”bandit queen” in Magul Maduwa. So anyone can notice the Chief Prelate’s bias towards her.

   It is the duty of Buddhist Monks to safeguard the country’s interests and not playing cheap politics. This act of making unsavoury political comments is highly unbecoming of his position as a Chief Prelate.

   So called no corruption low lives did the biggest robbery in the country’s history within few days
   in the central bank bond scam
   list goes on.
   Still these traitors can’t see the damage this low life Unpatriotic Party (UNP) does to the Sinhalese,
   Sri Lanka and Buddhism. When you have enemy like this within you are doomed!
   Does he at least know this darling gb rw is a rampaging catholic at least?

   Thank you Dharmasiri for doing what I was hesitating. I do not do write upps but I wanted to point this out in a comment at least. This Thibbatuwawe chief prelate is habouring a grudge against Mahinda for not listening to him when he asked Mahinda not to imprison Fonseka. It was the dirty harry Karu who poisoned the mind of this prelate and he even persuaded him to proclaim a ‘Sangha aagnawa’ a prohibition order against Mahinda.
   He then refused to see Mahinda and always sent his deputy when ever Mahinda visited the temple.
   He is a that kind of silly idiot. Being a chief prelate he doesn’t know harboring grudges is a no no for him.

   ”If” this is the case, he is not suitable to hold the Chief Prelate’s position. Minister of Buddha Saasana in the next govt should take this up and do the right thing by appointing a ”true” saadhu to this position.

   The two Kapu Ralas the head of the Malwatu and Asgiriya temples and heads of the Siyam Nikaya are two nincompoops occupying valuable religious space and desecrating it. They have done little to advance the cause of Buddhism other than tying Pirith Nool on all and sundry who comes with Ata Pirikara. To add insult to injury they are politically aligned with the United Christian Party aka UNP – Malwatu to the hilt and the other vacillating like a stick in the mud.

   Sri Lankans have not heard even a single Buddhist sermon from either of these two worthies let alone speaking on behalf of Sinhala Buddhists. They never speak out when Buddhist rights are being trampled on by the very political parties they worship and by their leaders. They only carry out their political agenda by either openly taking sides with unpatriotic leaders of the United Christian Party. Not a word was spoken when the Portuguese were invited to attend the 500th anniversary of soiling our motherland by the despicable Portuguese.

   Recently the nonagenarian chief of the Asgiriya chapter had the gall to ask the revered war hero Gotabhaya Rajapakse to retire to his home and spend his life in retirement. It has not occurred to this Kapurala that he is over 90 years old and that it would have served the Buddhist Establishment better by having a younger more educated priest in his place to protect and advance the cause of Buddhism in Sri Lanka and elsewhere.

   When the book Da Vinci Code was about to sold in Sri Lanka the Catholic Church protested and were able to stop its sale in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka became only the second country in the world to do so apart from the former cannibal country the Solomon Islands. This shows the extent to which other religious leaders successfully exert their pressure and influence in Sri Lanka.

   I am Sinhala Buddhist and I am ashamed to see these two Kapu Ralas aiding abetting the United Christian Party (UNP) to demean and destroy Buddhism.

   They put foundations to divide the country by introducing 13, 13a. Now to destroy tea plantation, they selling the land
   to estate workers for their votes. These scum bags don’t care what damage to the county, Sinhalese and Buddhism. They just want to please the minorities and get into power. Don’t have to do to the Asinhalayas, because they going to vote anyway. Because it is fashionable! Can you believe these low lives?
