If you intend to vote for the UNP, please remember that the country will be divided and Elam will be established or a federal government will be established in the North and East.
According to the Sunday Times, a Tamil National Alliance (TNA) member, Mr Adaikalanathan has said in a TV interview in England that:
The TNA will be the deciding power in the next government.
We will not support Mahinda Rajapaksa; but we will give conditional support to any other party that forms the next government.
Withdrawing the armed forces and finding a political solution based on a federal system will be two of the conditions for our support.”
Furthermore, we will urge the international community to conduct a referendum to divide this country into two. We will also be able to justify such a referendum. This is going to be the last chance. If our political problem is not solved and if the South deceives us again, we will have to go on our separate way from this country, with the help of the international community.”
To prevent the country being divided by the TNA and UNP, it is important for the UPFA to obtain a 2/3rd majority in the next parliament and this can be done by including in its election manifesto the following:
Promise to amend the constitution to bring in a Bill of Rights which guarantees equal rights to every citizen of Sri Lanka irrespective of religion, race, caste or gender.
Promise to bring in anti-discrimination legislation criminalising discrimination based on religion, race, caste or gender. Then the Tamil politicians can’t cry discrimination and the UN, western countries and human rights advocates will become powerless to criticise Sri Lanka and think of carving out a separate state called Tamil Elam.
Promise to get rid of the 13th amendment and abolish the Provincial Council system, which then becomes superfluous. Some people will say that Provincial Councillors are the foot soldiers of UPFA and it is not good to antagonise them. The best of them are contesting this election and the rest can get jobs in the District Development Councils.

To do this MR camp should PROMISE to SCRAP 13 amendment one way or the other. Otherwise HOW will the voters know?
UPFA CANNOT win 2/3 without promising to SCRAP 13 amendment (directly or via a new constitution).
ALL good politicians in PCs will be in parliament by August 18. Only the useless will be left in them. They can find jobs in the ministries. VIGNESWARAN and TNA jokers will be jobless.

These people live in the West and get their cues from news here. The god father of Tamil Separatism was living in Australia. One of the main movers behind 2005, 2010 and 2015 elections was and is from the West and may be lives in Australia. The friend whom Ranil met in the US and advised him for the Jan 2015 election is from a Western country. There are plenty of work is done by Indian imperialists in Australia against the Sinhalese.

Look Daya M it is easy to advise what to do, but the problem in the ground is the political realities that was created by the Indian imperialist constitution that imposed politics on the old administrative Provinces. It is hard to tell people that you will be without a job and power. This is not a simple issue as Indian imperialists knew what they are doing and the outcome of their project.

But there was MUSLIM-SL riots at the stadium last Sunday when Pakistan beat SL by close to 200 runs.

I am talking about “Malinga” not “Mahinda”. Both come from same area (beyond the Bentara Ganga). Both were very effective initially and world record breakers.
Why don’t they drop him and allow a young Buddhist tall fast bowler (like him) to take over. Young tall fella can bowl at 150 kPh. Initially we might loose some matches but must give time for them to mature.
Look at Malinga. He is hiding Big Belly. 130 kPh now. They are still going for him hoping his reputation will be respected. True he was the only Buddhist fast bowler who can clock 150. But now ?

Susantha Wijesinghe thinks that I am advocating a referendum to divide the country. Susantha, if you read my article properly you would have seen that the paragraph you are referring to is in inverted commas and that it was a quote from the TNA guy. The whole gist of my article is to empower MR and UPFA to prevent such a thing from happening and the best way to do it by getting rid of 13A.
I also see several Indian or UNP agents commenting here regularly as if they don’t have any other job.
