Main problem is “handing over SLFP leadership to MY3 , who was already sacked”. Some say this is because he was threatened. But is not his property to be handed over. Why did he take such decision.

GOSL should plan to supply power without depending on Norochchalai unless they revamp the system by replacing critical items that are always failing. Perhaps that will be very costly and building a new plant as soon as possible will be the only solution. Reading the stuff that is on the internet about the goings on in CEB (as per enews etc.) this most probably will give rise to another round of bribe taking as none is ready to do an honest job of work in that organization.
It was a similar situation in 2014 that I had to face in a Colombo suburb when there was daily power cuts around this time of the year.

Norochchalai fails when it is most needed. MR cannot take credit for building such a plant. That is one of the reasons why he lost.
