 When I saw the new item above ,I thought that centuries year old gentleman’s game of the world has dropped its statute to the level of foot ball and rugger played by members who are rough and with no concern about the well being of the fellow players.They do not bother to even think about how the audience  will react and how their  bosses and trainers become worried .

Now to the game of politics ,I want to suggest similar system of issuing yellow,card to warn a member of parliament for unwarranted behaviour and add an amber card to give the last warning and expel from the house of the floor for a week or prohibit attending any parliament sittings for a period of three months

Finally a red card to be issued to the MP who does not behave well and does not heed to the warning of the speaker of the house ,to be expelled from the parliament for good an deprive the right to contest ever again .

If this practice can be adopted most of the hooligans who sits in the parliament will be expelled. Most probably parliament will be empty thus saving money for the nation !

When anyone wants to contest they should sign an affidavit that they will abide by above rule

How’s that ???”

People in Sri Lanka will be very happy and the discipline in the house will dramatically improve.
