Northern lawyers to boycott Court tomorrow

Lawyers in the Northern Province have decided to boycott Court proceedings tomorrow (24) in protest over the defying of a Court order delivered by the Mullaitivu Magistrate, in connection with the last rites of Ven. Kolampe Medhalankra Thera and attack on Mullaitivu lawyer Sukash today (23).
Informed sources said that Mullaitivu Magistrate Lenin Kumar ordered that the Buddhist monk’s remains not be cremated at the disputed Neeravi Pillaiyar Temple premises but to perform the cremation at the beach side near the Temple.
However, the Court order was defied and a group of monks led by Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera and some of his followers had cremated the remains of the deceased monk at the prohibited site, informed sources said.
Attorney-at-Law Sukash, attached to the Mullaitivu Bar was attacked by an individual when he appealed to Gnanasara Thera to obey the Court order.
Following the incident in Mullaitivu, the lawyers from all areas of the Northern Province have decided to boycott their Court duties stating that Court order has been defied and the Magistrate’s directive has not been respected.
Furthermore, the Northern lawyers have also pointed out the attack carried out on lawyer Sukash of Mullaitivu.
The Court cases in the Northern Province are expected to come to a standstill tomorrow following the protest by the lawyers, sources said.
Mullaitivu lawyers have also planned to stage a demonstration today at the Mullaitivu Court premises, demanding action against those who had defied the Court order with regard to the cremation of the Buddhist monk, sources added.

People used to worship rivers, mountains, trees, gods in the olden days in the absence of science. Today, religions
have to pass the science test to be accepted as true. Darwin’s Theory of Evolution (just like The Buddha explained) put gods in the history books, yet with their money and in one case, fast breeding, religions propagate in this scientific era. What’s more, NASA has shown that the earth’s size is a grain of sand (just like The Buddha
explained) in the vast vast vast universe where distances are measured in light years.
All the crimes (sins) any two legged creature can do under the sun:
1 kill/murder
2 stealing
3 sexual misconduct (having an affair with your neighbour isn’t against the law, if you find a bullet in the back?)
4 lying
5 alcohol/drugs abuse (having a quiet drink isn’t against the law, drink drive and kill someone?)
All the law courts under the sun use the above five as their penal codes. Refraining from the above five is
Buddhism’s Five Precepts. The Buddha could see through birth, life, death and the universe after attaining
enlightenment. Others? They didn’t have a clue since they were all man made fictitious things. Remember in the
olden days people believed those things in the absence of science. Today, in this scientific era, in the 21st century?
People who commit sins (crimes) pay for them in the animal kingdom for 100s of 1000s lifetimes before getting
the ‘promotion’ to be two legged creatures (Darwin’s Theory of Evolution?) again.
Buddhism disappeared from the birth place since it didn’t fit the society with caste systems, animal sacrifices etc
and people quickly reverted to religions of conveniences which don’t regard sins as sins, to pay for them in the
animal kingdom for 100s of 1000s of lifetimes. Then invading mussies killed all the Buddhist monks and burnt
down all the Buddhist universities (a world’s first) and got rid of the only true religion in the world for good.
Today religions of conveniences spent billions and billions with paid employees to propagate them while one uses
dirty, disgusting, subhuman trick of multiply and outnumber trick. These traitors should think twice before
committing these sins if they are to be two legged creatures in their next lives.
