“GOTABAYA” ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ now famous name in the political scene inside the country and abroad. The Son of Lanka who bravely fought the battle of terrorism in our beloved homeland. A straight forward and fearless soldier whom we can beƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ proud of as our Defence Secretary in His Excellency Mahinda Rajapksa’s Government. Yes youƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ were the architect who brought downƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Velupillai Prabakaran to his knees and lastly to hell.
We owe you our lives for bringing Peace to the country after thirty long years and spending billions of rupeesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by every Government who was in power. After ending the war we thought that there will be peace and our society will be united and enjoy the benefits of Peace unfortunately and very sadly still we have the doubt because of traitors and saboteurs in our midst who were trying to divide our peaceful nation.

Mr.Secretary you have been given the enormous task to clean up the country of traitors, robbers, underworld, drugs, phonography and all kinds of bad elements from our society.This is a very big assignment and you are doing well and majority of the population approves it without any doubt. I feel sad when I read in newspapers war heros involved in drug trade,robberies and violent acts around the country. Why we called them war heros beacuse they were actually heros, they freed our Motherland from terror sacrificing their valuable lives. We worship them and you and your Goverment give them so much for their sacrifices and bravery during the war.
We have a big respect for these heros in our hearts but when we see these type of headlines in our newspapapers we feel very bad and sad. Why they indulge in bad habbits? We have to find the reason behind such behaviour and must look for a remedy to stop these heros becoming violent individuals in our society. We know that thousands of our Armed Force deserters were roaming around the country and some have been involved in violent acts which brings disaster and deaths which nobody likes to see happening in our peaceful environment. You are the man to stop this on urgent basis for every citizen to live and enjoy the peace.

Do not give these deserters any lifeline anymore because I have seen so many times your GovernmentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ giving themƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ chancesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to come back for active duty without any punishment and to be heros again. You helped them in many ways likeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ monetary assistance, Housing and other benefits. Some traitors were using these deserters for their own political ends. You must give instructions to all police stations around the country to search, arrest and put them in jailƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ till you finish questioning them individually. They are danger to the society beacuse most of them carry firearms with them. Put all your force and search for each and every deserter around the country in villages and in cities and bring them to justice because this amount of deserters roaming around the country is not a good sign for our future. Evil people can use them for dirty purposes and bring bad name for the Goverment. It’s in your hands dear Mr.Secretary you have the brains and the guts to do it so there’s no doubt among us that you will clean our streets and the country very soon of these bad eliments. Check every individual in the Armed forces for wrong doing and sacked them immediately if found guilty of any crime. We saw in the news the other day C.I.D.officers and STF was involved in robberies and were arrested by police in SEEDUWA. It’s a shame to our heros reputation and to all of us. It should be severly dealt with iron fist if not we all will suffer in the future.

Robberies, rapes, murders, kidnappings you name it most of them done by deserters according to news papers in the past few years. This is absolutely not acceptable to any decent society. We have to find a way to stop this evil people who destroy our freedom and peace. We need a fully equipped with latest tecnology a police rapid force to deal with such characters. They should be well trained to the teeth as they were dealing with violent well trained individuals. I think Mr.Secretary you can do it with the assistance of our brave war heros.
Those heros are very special in our hearts. They fought a vallinant battle against terrorism in worst situations around the country and atlast defeated the most ruthless terror group in the world. They deserve all the accolades anyone or Government can give but not for these deserters who bring tears and sadness to our people by violating all rules and laws in the land. If you and your brother can clean up the whole ountry from evil then our population can sleep without fearƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of being a victim of any violence.

The President have six years to govern and have enoughƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ time to clean up the whole society starting from Government corruption. We need to strengthen our laws according to the 21st century. It’s easy to change laws when the Government has the majority in the parliament. Our Motherland cannot be Light of Asia if corruption is rampart in every corner of our society. Without fear we should bring corrupted guys to books. Because of corrupt people in the Government service many are fed up and they point the finger at the President.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ We cannot afford to keep corrupt Ministers and M.P.’s in the Government side as we were embarking on a mission to take our Motherland to be light of Asia.They should be kicked out irrespective of their status and President and his family members should keep Mr.Clean tab as a example to others. Mr.Secretary we know that you hate politics but still you help your brother to keep our homeland safe from terrorists and all evils. Dont be afraid of any International pressure just carry on your good work and make our country safe for every single citizen to live happily.
Visit North and east very frequently and keep an eye on bad elements and at the same time develope the areas which was destroyed by war. Send patrols around the country and do not allow your Armed forces to take any chance as we still face the threat of terrorism from outside.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Golabalayas of the Ministers & M.P.’s who take the law in to their hands and behave in vulger mannerin public should be severly dealt with and disciplined them or kick their butt out from any post they were holding. When they behave in bad way in public the shame and bad name comes to the President and to his Goverment therefore the government should set an example by terminating their services how much powerful they are.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

Hey Ranjit,
The subject of corruption you have brought up, is crucial to the present time. Nobody wants the President to tarnish his integrity and credibility, because of a few rotten eggs in the basket. You have been very forthright, in coming out in the open to highlight the despicable and disgraceful events unfolding in beautiful Sri Lanka. This not the time for the Big Wigs to say, Yes Sir, No Sir, Thre Bags Full Sir, and make His Excellency The President complacent, and make him get into a downword spin. I admire your upright vision.
You and I and very many others have brought this question up very lately, but nothing seems to be happening. Nobody is giving ear, to our pleas.
It is the most powerful Defence Secretary Dr. Gotabaya, whose mind acted like Herculese to plan the strategy, with concurrence with His Excellency The President, to clean the TAMIL AUGEAN Stables, and wipe out the entire lot of Tamil Terrorists Murderers, aka LTTE. In this instance, it took two to three years to do a complete clean up.
Eurystheus ordered Herculese to clean up King Augea’s stable in one day, as the stink rose to high heaven, polluting the entire Peloponnese area. Herculese struck a deal with King Augeas receive one twentieth of the Live Stock, and Herculese Brought his son Helios as a witness. The king later came to know that it was Eurystheus that initiated the cleaning up and refused to stand to his promise of the deal, which later went to court, and the kings son was a witness for Herculese. He got his share for the job well done.
The Dung which was piled up in the Cattle Shed was between two rivers. Herculese broke open the wall on one side, and cut a canal upto the shed, from the river on the other side, which sent the Waters through the shed to the other side and cleaned up the whole stable. This was a fete accomplished in one day by Herculese. This truly was a physical job, and proverbially it became a Herculean Task.
Now, we too have a Herculese amongst us, and that is GOTABAYA. We are asking this Gotabaya to metaphorically, clean the stink that is rising to the high heavens in Sri Lanka, pollution brought about by Ministers, Members of Parliament, Government Officials of all ranks, Forces Desserters, Diplomats of Sri Lanka, and Presidents own coterie, who has been allegedly acting in a deplorable manner forcibly taking out items from a duty free shop and not paying for them.
It is unfair for us to ask him to do a clean up in one day. Gotabaya certainly has the authority and power, and the clout to take the Bull by the Horns. He cannot do it alone. It will be his guidance that would be foremost.
It is my point of view that he should completely re-organise the Briberry Department, and re-inforce it with strong personel with credibility and integrity, give them complete immunity from Political interference, including interference from His Excellency too. They should be given legal cover to question, inspect documents, and take into custody as the law of the country allow them to do so. Now Gotabaya should let loose his Officers To act fast on what has already been Highlighted. This formidable force should work hand in glove with IRS.
Like Eurystheus giving ONE DAY to Herculese, to clean the Augean Stables, let us give GOTABAYA, THREE MONTHS TO CLEAN, the MAHINDEAN STABLES.
Just now, the Government Stinks with corruption. This is said in good faith by people who love Sri Lanka, and those who love the President dearly. Let it not be contrued as an unfriendly assumption. It is purely patriotism by those who do not want to see the government going on a platter to Vultures waiting for the carrion.
No one should be above the Law. We pray that the Secretary of Defence, live upto this concept, and acquire the will and frame of mind to start the clean up. Deterrent action on wrong doers is a must.

Susantha you are great every time I see you have a good story to tell and I sincerly appreciate and enjoy reading. I was very fond of Hercules movies in my small days I never missed any and I too was thinking to myself one day can I be same as him and do good things in our lives without giving burden to others so I expect Gotabaya our most favourite Soldier son in lankan politics will be same as hercules and do this herculian job of clean up in our society. I get angry when someone points finger at the President for anywrong doing as I always respect him and have faith on him to be MR.Clean but if he allows his Golabalayas to destroy his reputation and allows them to stay put then people like us who supports him will be very dissapointed. Gota is the perfect guy to tackle this problem as he is not answering to anyone except the President. We need discipline and corruption free society if we want to have real freedom and peace. Susantha let’s hope our thoughts would be heard by someone and we can see some results in the future.

Ranjit – Good work. It is time for awakening the general public as regards this menace of corruption, misbehaviour and high handedness displayed in public life by the so called authorities in high power. The HE badly needs a “Mr. Clean” to get rid of this menace. If the news is correct, this Mr. Clean popularly called “Gotta” has ordered the raid of a high class brothel operated by a very influential woman called “G”. This brothel had been in operation for more than ten years in the very near visinity of HE’s residence. But did anyone care to look into it? Obviously all the BIG WIGS patronised it and they gave all the protection it needed. Now this woman is arrested, she threatens to divulge the names of all those “BIG WIGS” who are inclusive of even Ministers, MPs, Police Officials of high rank etc, if she is not provided with security and safe exit from the Judicial process.
Mr “Gotta” – get this women to confess under oath all the names of those parties who patronised this “lucrative business” and gave protection for the last ten years ro so. Media is full of reports relating to this and the public is waiting to hear the names of all these “do gooders” of public life. Make use of this opportunity and show the country you are there to clean up this mess and march towards the desired goal of making this golden island a paradise.
