DMK President Muthuvel Karunanidhi strongly objected to an alleged statement of Sri Lankan Minister Champika Ranawaka in which the minister had threatened another “massacre” of Tamils and urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take up the issue with Colombo and the United Nations.

“It has come to our notice that Sri Lankan cabinet minister Champika Ranawaka has warned of hundred more massacres and has threatened that one Mullivaikal (where thousands of Tamil civilians were killed) was enough and that no one should try to get hundred more”, Karunanidhi said in a letter to Singh.

“The remarks of the Sri Lankan minister is highly provocative and therefore condemnable”, he said, adding that the Tamils all over the world are very perturbed over the reprehensible remarks of the Sri Lankan minister.

“I therefore request you to kindly use your good offices to take up this matter with the Sri Lankan government with an advice to adopt a course of restraint and humanitarianism”, he said.

Karunanidhi said the UN may also be apprised of such harsh stance of the Sri Lankan government.

The Lankan power and energy minister is said to have made the remark while reportedly cautioning the island’s Tamil population to avoid following the politics of the main Tamil Parliamentary group. Ranawaka gave the alleged warning during a news conference on June 8 in Colombo

Tamil nadu (tamil country) ex chief minister Karunanidhi (for Sri Lankans view he is a corrupted political joker and a real dumb ass) has not iota of brain to understand what Minister Champika really meant. Minister Champika indirectly told him not to encourage tamil racism and tamil terrorism. If terrorism starts in Sri Lanka again there must be bloodshed and it is unavoidable. Karunanidhi a vampire and he love bloodshed but we Sinhalese don’t want it happen in our country any more. This simple logic cannot understand by Karunanidhi. May be he is suffering from Alzheimer.
Karunanidhi, Present Chief Minister Jaya Lalitha, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi all are war criminals if international criminal court start an investigation on support for terrorism similar to Liberia’s ex President Charles Taylor who was convicted for arming and supporting murderous rebels in Sierra Leone and was sentenced last month to 50 years in prison.
Karunanidhi now talks like a saint but he cannot deny his involvement in support for murderous tamil terrorists for the racist tamil expansionism agenda. Entire world know how tamil nadu openly had several terrorist training camps for tamil terrorists (LTTE, PLOTE, EPRLF, TELO). Prabakaran, Pottu Amman, Karuna Amman, Sri Sabaratnam, Perumal, Uma Maheswaran and majority of top leaders and most of mid leadership trained by Karunanidhi’s country. Tamil nadu fed, trained, funded and breast fed all most all the tamil terrorists. We can prove red handed and can this political joker say no?
If Liberia’s Charles Taylor sentenced for 50 years Karunanidhi should sentence for 500 years as he is directly involved in massacred of more than 60000 Sinhalese in their own country by tamil terrorists whom trained by Karunanidhi and clique.

Question to Mr Karunanidhi : Why do Tamils flee Tamil Nadu ?

It is only on the day that Tamils who have fled Tamil Nadu are welcomed back in the Tamil homeland of Tamil Nadu, that we in Sri Lanka can relax somewhat our vigilance against future Terrorism & Separatism. Minister Champika Ranawaka is quite correct to warn the Sri Lankan Nation to be vigilant, for which we thank him.
Is the Sri Lankan Nation willing to go through more harrowing experiences as with the ltte ? loud & clear – NO !
As far as the integrity of Sri Lanka & the safety of its People are concerned, we have to be VIGILANTE forever ! and we mean FOREVER.

The Tamil Nadu politicians are “spinning” Minister Ranawaka’s statement, which has obviously been made in response to Mr. Karunanidhi’s absolutely provocative and challenging remarks regarding Sri Lanka which have been accompanied by Mr. Sampanthan’s own unnecessarily provocative statements. Minister Ranawaka’s statement has been twisted out of context.
The Minister should certainly have been more cautious with his words, but for The Hindu which reported on this today without any reference to context, is also irresponsible.
It looks as if India is once more stepping all over Sri Lanka on this issue without any restraint, while it demands restraint from Sri Lanka.
