Most of the TV viewers watching the evening news a couple of days back would have seen you Sarah Hanson-young shedding tears for the unfortunate boat people who died in mid seas in a desperate attempt to reach Australia as asylum seekers. Fair enough and no qualms for your emotions but itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s an encouraging bonus point for the human smugglers.
Sri Lankans treat ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the behavior and attitude on the terrorist conflict by the Greens Party that you represent as appalling. Greens have been playing the LTTEƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ trumpet in Australian Senate appeasing ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and mollycoddling them for the last 30 years. Like the way LTTE rump in Canada recently made a donation of $50,000 to Amnesty International to get them to speak for remnants of the LTTE Diaspora, whether how much of donations the Greenies may have got for their role of supporting LTTE, only God knows!
Greens have on several occasions presented petitions launched by LTTE rump against Sri Lanka. Ms Sarah, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ although you became a senator only in 2008 and within a very short period, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ you have been fighting tooth and nail for LTTE terrorists and the LTTE rump in Australia. You have even presented petitions in the Senate on behalf of the LTTE rump, supported a bill bought byƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ another woman Senator asking the Australian GovernmentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to stop granting visa to President Rajapaksa who was to attend the CHOGM held in Perth though the Greens miserably failed when the bill got defeated with a thumping majority. Without checking the veracity of the contents, you presented LTTE favoured petitions to the Senate against Sri Lankan Govt,. for having wiped off the LTTE terrorist group from Sri Lankan ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ soil.
When thousands of brutal murders on innocent civilians, suicide bombing of public places, trains, busses killing thousands and maiming many thousands, abducting school children and conscripting them as child soldiers and many thousands of other atrocities committed by LTTE over the past ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 30 years, Greenies never raised a finger in public or in the Senate condemning those brutal terrorist acts.
Ms Sarah, I wonder whether you would have shed tears the same way you were tearing for the hapless boat people, even if you had known how brutal LTTE terrorists attaching Sinhala and Muslim villages and hacking to death with swords and machetes, slitting pregnant womenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s wombs and dashing the unborn babies on the floor. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s still not too late to shed your tears ( if its genuine) for those hapless victims of the LTTE brutality. Yet you have exposed yourself as an ardent supporter of the LTTE rump who is day dreaming of carving out a separate state for the Tamils in this small island.
If you were genuinely ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ tearing for those boat people, you should shed millions of tear drops albeit itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s not too late for those innocent people including women, infants and children who were hacked to death by the LTTE terrorists over the years. Instead, you have boldly taken the side of the LTTE rump who oiled the LTTE atrocity engine for almost 30 years. So, there is a doubt whether the tears you shed for the boat people who died in mid-seas were genuine or ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is it another political gimmick?

It is clear who is pulling the strings in Australian politics with regards to LTTE. The game is played out by having Labor and Liberals sitting on the fence (both parties have pro and anti LTTE spokespersons) and the Greens being given the task of going all out against the Sri Lanka Govt on the issue of LTTE. Now this is an ideal situation where irrespective of whether Labor or Liberals come into power, Australia can tow the US led Western policies against the Sri Lanka Govt. One does not have to be a genius to work out where this stategy comes from!

During last Federal election due to my miscalculation I voted for geens. But never ever again. Not only Greens non of the Australian political party raised a finger in Parliament, Senate or public condemning those LTTE brutal terrorist acts. Still not for TNA. There should be a reason is it another political gimmick or for the love of donations for the role of supporting TNA!

Now it is the Australians’ turn to ride the tiger. They are slowly leaving us in PEACE. I wish tens of thousands of Tamils leave SL and got to Australia or go to Elam mid-sea. Those who get their will get their kith and kin too.
Very soon she will have to cry for REAL when tigers launch their terror campaign of hacking, bombing, homeland claims, credit card scams, etc.

Lorenzo although these politicians cannot see its already happening daliy in most of the Cities in Australia their terror campaign of hacking, bombing, homeland claims, credit card scams, etc.. Also Australians are loosing their Business and jobs to these people. Await and see very soon they will realized.

Yes, the ‘refugees” terror money for their campaigns, and promised votes…. big lures for the western politicians: They can welcome these terrorists into Australia, and nurture them…. Sri Lanka will be much better off without these extremists.

They will. But unlike SL, they will not hesitate to punish them and TOTALLY DISREGARD grievances, aspirations BS as excuses.
Tamil Tigers are not alone. Iraqis, Afghans, etc. are also making their way to Australia. They all make a colorful soup of terrorism.
When Australia realizes it, they will ban the LTTE. Pack all Tamil grievance ridden people to Australia. We don’t want them; Australia cries for them.
But why SL accepting 68,000 MORE Tamils from India?
