TNA should be asked to go back to Tamil Nadu to be citizens of India!

Indian leaders, according to the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) that went to New Delhi to find solutions to Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Tamil problem, have said that India is committed to contribute its best efforts to ensure that Tamils in Sri Lanka secured a future marked by equality, dignity, justice and self-respect (emphasis is the authorƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s). And now the TNA team is reported to be on the way to meeting the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and other Tamil Nadu political leaders.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Tamil problem in Sri Lanka is the intransigence of the TNA and its supporters. If over 41% of the population of Colombo is Tamil ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” Tamils who opted to come South instead of living in the mythical Eelam that Pirabhaharan and TNA wanted to create ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” a good proportion of the Tamil population of Sri Lanka is living at present with equality, dignity, justice and self-respect. If there are problems that the average non-LTTE Tamil in the North faces, these would not be any different from those experienced by the Sinhalese and the Moors who live in the rural regions of Sri Lanka.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If the Indian leaders are really concerned about the welfare of Tamils ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” ensuring equality, dignity, justice and self-respect ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” they do not have to go beyond the shores of India accepting the fabricated sufferings dumped on their lap by the TNA. There are more than enough Tamils in Tamil Nadu whose status is far below that of the average peace-loving Tamil in Sri Lanka. The Indian leaders can very well work with the likes of Karunanidhi, Jayalalithaa, Vaiko, Sreeman, etc., and strive to do something that would better the lives of these Indian citizens. At least the Dalit community that is at the bottom of the social structure, with many of its members being involved in manual scavenging, will be eternally grateful to the leaders based in New Delhi if the energies of the bigwigs of the Federal Government are directed towards solving IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s problems.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ As for the TNA Parliamentarians, who seem to be more in New Delhi, Tamil Nadu or the capitals of the affluent nations of the West than in the North of Sri Lanka solving the problems of the misguided who voted them to power, it is high time that they are told by the concerned powers in Sri Lanka that the group should decide to be Sri Lankans first and Tamils or anything else next.

Yes Sir Asada M Repine, Sri Lankan Govt must tell these ILLETERATE TAMIL TNA MPs, either they select Sri Lanka as their Motherland aND LIVE PEACEFULLY WITH THE MAJORITY Sinhalese and Muslimas LIKE THE 41 % of the TAMIL population in Colombo and subborbs who live in peace and harmony with the other communities, OR:
1) Go to Tamil Nadu and live there as Indian Citizens doing LAVOTORY CLEANING SCAVANGING JOBS FOR WHICH THEY WERE BROUGHT TO SRI LANKA BY THE WHITE RULERS,
2) Get all the TAMILS LIVING IN COLOMBO AND SUBORBS BACK TO TN AND BECOME INDIAN CITIZENS.
Then yhe majority Sinhalese and Muslims will be MORE THAN HAPPY!!!
TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT and live in Silance as Sri lankan Govt IS AN INDEPENDENT STATE AND NOT A STATE UNDER INDIA, who are the BULLY MASTERS!!!

But Lorenzo, the peetha Parangi wants to kill and reduce the Tamils in Colombo. Many Sinhalese are happy about that too. How is that?
Further the author must ask Ranil and thousands of Colombians who came with the Portugeuse to go back to thier native Kerala and Goa. This includes our Parangiya Lorenzo too!

They tried in the 1960’s to carve out eelam in Tamil Nadu, and got crushed by the Indian govt. Now these losers don’t have the backbone to even ask for a ‘separate eelam’ in Tamil Nadu, but appears only to survive with threats and blackmail.
They can establish Tamil Nadu, the home to a billions of Tamils, but never in Sri Lanka! (or try Toronto)

TNA type politics is Separatist style politics and does not belong in Sri Lanka. Separatism was not tolerated in India (banned by law by PM Jawaharlal Nehru), so the various Tamil leaders of Jaffna brought Separatism to Sri Lanka. Separatism is inimical to Integration of Tamil people to mainstream life in Sri Lanka. Therefore, the TNA must be held responsible for non-Integration of Tamils in Sri Lanka, and must be asked to reform or be banned.

In Sri Lanka, we Buddhists judge people not by Caste, but by what they say and do. The Buddha said : “By ones actions one is low born or high born”. We ourselves decide which category we fall into. Which category do you want to belong to ? Which category are you pushing yourself into ?
I write logic. I depend on reason. My motive is to save Sri Lanka from a painful future of hatred, dissent and separatism.
Why does that anger you ? Whom are you trying to please ?
Open your eyes, Mudali – God is Within You, and your God of Love Within awaits to be discovered by you. We can access our God Within only through Meditation (Raja Yoga or Buddhist Meditation). It is the same rule for us all. It is time for us all to grow up, childhoods end for us all.

S.J.Emmanuel, former Vicar General of Jaffna, openly claimed the LTTE criminals are the soldiers of Christ.
You Catholics are afraid that the unity of Hindus and Buddhists is a DANGER for the survival of criminal Catholic morons!
You try to tell here that only Hindus or Tamils have caste system. Dont you feel it is a joke? Buddha, a Hindu Prince, a Kshatrya, preached against castes. Did he succeed? Sinhalese are buddhists. Did they destroy Castes in the last 2500 years?

You are very wrong – if you knew my real name & background, you wouldn’t call me a Catholic. I am an old person from the South of Lanka and have seen too much tragedy in Lanka. I am writing in analytical pieces to avoid future tragedies.
I am not a Catholic person and I cannot speak for them. They have made some mistakes in the North of Lanka. Let us get past all that. What are the Hindu people doing to erase caste ?
Come, let’s not fight. Let’s put all our energies to solving our problems here – there is so much to be done.

Religion is a sensitive topic and any discussion of it risks causing offence. Mudalali and Ahmed have already caused offence by discussing it. I dont mean to cause offence. However, at risk of causing offence, I am making some factual observations here.
I disagree with most of what Mudalali says but he is correct about elements of the Catholic church in Sri Lanka (mostly Tamils) having supported LTTE terrorism in Sri Lanka. In the West too, many Catholics AND Protestants (Western people, not Sri Lankans) support Tamil separatism (under the guise of “human rights” for Tamils). NO Sri Lankan members of these churches that I am aware of in the West that actively oppose the Western pro-Tamil Tiger people. I am one of the few. Some Sinhalese in these churches pretend to agree because they are scared of being unpopular. There is a certain Tamil speaking priest in one of our churches that actively campaigns against Sri Lanka and is in favour of separatism. Westerners in the church think he is some kind of “respected elder” of the community and believe every thing he says. Time for Sinhala and Tamil Christians in the West to become more vocal and organised to counter Western members of their congregation who are anti Sri Lanka.
Just one point for the Buddhists to realise and I hope they dont misunderstand me for pointing this out. I have also attended Buddhist meditation with a (non Sri Lankan) Buddhist friend, at a Buddhist centre in a certain Western city. It is well patronised by young, well-educated Western people and East Asian people. I spoke to a few of them. Some of these Western Buddhists too are anti-Sri Lanka as they think Tamils are discriminated against by Sinhala-Buddhists and they are even feeling “embarassed” by it! By the same logic often displayed by some members of Lankaweb against Christians, does this mean that the international Buddhist community is also anti-Sri Lanka or anti-Sinhala? I doubt it. Pertinently, I observe that 95% of the Sinhala Buddhists in this particular locale attend their own temple where everything is conducted in Sinhala language only. It has been described by some Sri Lankans as a “Sinhala ghetto mentality”. I have been told, not many Asian or Western Buddhists attend this temple.

People are people everywhere regardless of religion and race. But , to me , it is a fact that there are some special races because of “traditions”. Tradition of brainwashing the young from day 1 of birth. Not all races do that- Sinhala Buddhist certainly not, because Buddhism encourage free thinking. Due to the same reason their your often become athiests – because it is not easy to understand the truth of life when you are young.
