Hon. Jason Kenney, P.C., M.P
Minister of Citizenship & Immigration, House of Commons,
Ottawa

Dear Jason:

Word of your suspicious Round Table meeting with a choice anti-Sri Lanka Tamil group in the Hilton Suites, Markham Hotel, on Saturday, January 26, was flying all over the Canadian non-Tamil community across Canada like a snow scroll on parliament Hill.  And so did the word reach me yesterday evening.

Your Twitter account says “Did Tamil media roundtable to review my recent trip to Sri Lanka and our fight against human smuggling, yfrog.com/nun8lfjj”.

But let me be blunt with you Jason. After your stint in Sri Lanka on January 7, meeting Sri Lankan officials to discuss how to curb Tamil human smuggling,  and your switching your mask to, “I am the son of an Anglo-Saxon Evangelical Preacher man, preaching to Sri Lankans about Human Rights violations after a 27 year long bloody Tamil Tiger Eelam war which Canada aided and abetted, and that “We are Holier than Thou”, all that Evangelical Blarney BS when Amnesty International had pinned Canada  onto their Human Rights Violator’s Rogues Gallery, was despicable, uncouth and sick.  Especially, when on that very day the First Nations peoples Attawapiskat Chief Theresa Spence was on a hunger strike a stones throw away from your parliament office on Victoria island for the very reason that Canada has violated their human rights.”  In my eyes you are suspect, Jason.

Were you plotting with this anti-Sri Lankan hardcore Tamil group in Markham behind closed doors, what the next move is to bring down the Sri Lanka Government wanting a regime change.  Now that we have come to know that Tamil Nadu is training another wave of Sri Lankan Tamil terrorists, and we know that Canadian Tamils are still collecting funds for their fight against the Sri Lankan government wanting their mythical mono-ethnic, racist Tamil separate state Eelam, in the north and east of Sri Lanka, is the next move going to be an internationally supported “ƒ”¹…”Mullaitivu “ƒ”¹…”Bay of Pigs’ invasion of Sri Lanka.  Or is it that you all were plotting behind closed doors a “ƒ”¹…”Whiteman’s Cloned white-Lion Spring’ like the “ƒ”¹…”Arab Spring’.

Well, Jason, let’s come clean with the Sri Lankan-Canadian Sinhalese community as I am among others who are getting sick and tired playing Hide and Seek with Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s senior Ministers who are trying to stop Sri Lanka’s progress to satisfying the Sri Lanka hating Tamils just to get their votes in the Greater Toronto Area to have a majority Government next time around.  Stop plotting against Sri Lanka meeting these Ragavan-Tamils behind closed doors.  Tell  us, Sinhalese-Canadians,  what you discussed with these Tamils.  And stop being a bully.

Now that you have visibly drawn a line between the Sinhalese and Tamils in the Sri Lankan-Canadian community, what stops you calling another Round Table meeting to brief us Sinhalese-Canadians too about your visit to Sri Lanka?  Invite me and I will be there.

Stop acting a “I am a son of an Anglo-Saxon Evangelical Preacher man with collars starched to heaven,” and trying to preach to Sri Lanka that “We are Holier than Thou“ when we are far from it.

Sincerely

Asoka Weerasinghe (Mr.)

SL should follow Israel on UNHRC. US plans to bring another BS resolution against us. We too have NO TRUST in the biased piece of dirt called UNHRC. Use their SAME language.

“Israel has boycotted a regular review by the UN Human Rights Council, the first time any country has done so.
The move was expected as Israel has long been angered by what it claims is unfair criticism from the body.

A decision last year to investigate Jewish settlements in the West Bank prompted Israel to announce it would no longer co-operate with the council.

Following the no-show by Israeli representatives at Tuesday’s meeting of the UN human rights council in Geneva, the meeting was suspended and a response is being decided.

“After a series of votes and statements and incidents we have decided to suspend our working relations with that body,” Israeli foreign ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor told the Financial Times on Tuesday.

Council spokesman Rolando Gomez told the Associated Press that Israel’s unprecedented absence had put the council in “new territory” because attendance of the Universal Periodic Review was mandatory.

Israel’s action has prompted concern that it might undermine the UN’s human rights work, says the BBC’s Imogen Foulkes in Geneva.

Human rights experts fear other countries facing awkward questions might follow suit.

It is no secret that UNHRC is a farce, and they have selective amnesia. It is better to tell it in an open statement and boycott as Israel did.

You do not want to play along just sake of it, when it is clear that they are working with bias and a with a pre-set agenda.

  4. Wakula Gunapala Says:

With the UNHRC sessions in Geneva coming on in a few weeks time to take up the usual Sri Lanka bashing, idiots like this have taken to this type of activity with these tamil groups whose sole aim is to take their revenge from Sri Lanka for destroying their terrorist group which they funded for years. Why dont these do gooders ask the U.S. why they do not bring a resolution against Israel for boycotting the UNHRC thus going against all accepted behaviour which countries like Sri Lanka have adhered to, in the face of open antagonism by countries like U.S. and U.K. in connivance with their lap dog NGOs. Time that countries like Sri Lanka ask U.S. and the biassed officials like Navi Pillay to clear this type of rubbish before daring to point their dirty fingers at us.
