 Dear Mr”¦R.N,

It was an astonishment that a gentleman from TGTE has replied. My document was directed to Rudrakumaran of TGTE, however, may be he hasn’t got the courtesy or mannerism to reply, but asked you to reply. Thank you for your reply, which has given an opportunity to communicate with you guys up in the stratosphere.

Please read this letter and you are welcome to reply me if you do disagree on relatable and germane matters.

I think it is time for me to come clean and open to TGTE. My name is Kanthar Balanathan, a retired Director and a Specialist Power Systems Engineer. I have lived and worked in several countries, right from UK down to New Zealand, and have studied their culture, mannerism, approach to solving problems, people’s power in listening skills and conflict resolution. The only experience I have encountered was that I was backstabbed by people, and they are no one else but Tamils. All the people who helped me and my family in my life are no one else, but Sinhalese. The reason I am conveying this is because Tamil’s cultural personality and interactive silhouette is Machiavellian. It may be because we pray to gods who depict weapons in their multiple hands. I am a Hindu.

Your statement: “you are correct, there is no land for Tamils in Srilanka, what we are talking about is the land in Tamil Eelam“.

Before we run into conclusion, yell and scream, one should do research. “Tamil Elam“ as a land did not exist in the island of SriLanka. Who are the Tamils? If we declare that we are “Dravidians“, then we were from Indus Valley (IV) region. If we declare that we are Elamites, then we must have been from a land called “Elam“. If we are Dravidians, we have to claim it back, but you have to fight with Pakistan to recapture, however, with Elamites concept, then we have to fight with Iran. History and research papers link Dravidians to Sumerians and Elamites, who were pushed to the IV region and thereafter eastwards and southwards.

Scholars like Ayanarithanar proclaim that Tamils and the language existed over several thousands of years and as follows:

 ƒÆ’‚ ®”‚¢ƒÆ’‚ ®²ƒÆ’‚ ¯ ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ƒÆ’‚ ¯”‚¹ƒÆ’‚ ®©ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®±ƒÆ’‚ ®¿ ƒÆ’‚ ®®ƒÆ’‚ ®£ƒÆ’‚ ¯ ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ƒÆ’‚ ¯”‚¹ƒÆ’‚ ®©ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®±ƒÆ’‚ ®¾ƒÆ’‚ ®”‚¢ƒÆ’‚ ¯ ƒÆ’‚ ®”‚¢ƒÆ’‚ ®¾ƒÆ’‚ ®²ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ƒÆ’‚ ¯”‚¡ ƒÆ’‚ ®µƒÆ’‚ ®¾ƒÆ’‚ ®³ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒ…‚ ƒÆ’‚ ®ƒ…‚¸ƒÆ’‚ ¯ ƒÆ’‚ ®®ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®©ƒÆ’‚ ¯ ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ƒÆ’‚ ¯”‚¹ƒÆ’‚ ®©ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®±ƒÆ’‚ ®¿ ƒÆ’‚ ®®ƒÆ’‚ ¯”…¡ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®¤ ƒÆ’‚ ®”‚¢ƒÆ’‚ ¯ƒÆ’‚ ®ƒ…‚¸ƒÆ’‚ ®¿“

I consider this as “imprudent and laughable“. It is astonishing that educated people go on yammering and chattering this verse. Even Tamil Professors from SL go on to blabber in foreign countries.

 Professor E. Annamalai gives a clear cut explanation that there is lack of evidence that Tamil race existed between 3,300BCE to 1800BCE. Quote from Prof. Annamalai’s page;

Therefore this concept of Tamils from IV may be out of the question.

Secondly, scholars do not agree the Kumarikkandam concept. There is no evidence of a kandam in the Indian Ocean.

 Please read the map: http://ancientpersiaowns.weebly.com/the-elamite-empire.html

Researchers state that the Parthia’s invaded IV and migrated downward to transform themselves into Pallavas. Pallavas were responsible for the development of Prakrit and Sanskrit.

The Pallavas script was developed in southern India during the Pallavas dynasty; (ca. 3rd-5th century AD) The Pallavas script was based on the Brahmi script and consists of a matched set of symbols for consonants, as well as ways to write consonant clusters.

This is 3rd “”…” 5th century. Is this not similar to Sinhala, Kannada, and Telugu script?

The script was used to write Sanskrit, Prakrit, Pali, and a number of other languages. This language became popular for political and religious and inscriptions on stone monuments this was in use for 500 years it was used in this way, with alterations and adaptations, to write most of the languages of Southeast Asia.

Devanagiri is the language (Sanskrit-Old Prakrit) used by Brahmins in Temples for Poojas. Hindi is a by-product of Devanagiri. The Brahmins made sure that normal people did not use Devanagiri (Sanskrit) to isolate them from the rest.

Things have changed now. Brahmins now want everybody to learn Sanskrit, because the 21st century toilet cleaners in India are the Brahmins.

Veeramaamunivar, an Italian ( Costanzo Giuseppe Beschi), developed the eharam, eahaaram, oharam, oohaaram in the 18th century. Please refer to Veeramaamunivar’ s history.

I quote from Ref below: http://jaffnahistory.com/Sankili/Sankili.html

Although Cankili was a Tamil on his mother’s side, he did not make Tamil the official language of Jaffna. For all purposes, Sinhala was considered to be the official language throughout the island, including the Jaffna Peninsula. When Cankili’s conduct became intolerable, the people of Jaffna (mostly Sinhalese) petitioned the Portuguese Viceroy in Goa, asking him to replace Cankili with a Sinhalese Prince ‘because Jaffna belonged to the Kingdom of Kotte’. This led to the genocide of the Sinhalese inhabitants of Jaffna by Cankili. “After the massacre of the Christians, Cankili’s, insane fury longed for more victims and he fell upon the Buddhists of Jaffna who were all Sinhalese. He expelled them beyond the limits of the country and destroyed their numerous places of worship,” says Rasanayagam, quoting Yalpana Vaipava Malai.”

Today’s Tamil scripts were developed in the 12th century. Ref: http://www.google.com.au/search?q=brahmi+scripts&hl=en&tbo=u&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ei=jNqwUMKnB4SDiQeO6ICQAg&ved=0CE8QsAQ&biw=1350&bih=620

In 1215 CE, the first king took the throne of Jaffna as Segarajasekeran Singhai Ariyar Chakravarti, who is considered to be none other than Kalinga Magha (Kulangkayar Segarajasekeran Seliyasekaran Vijeyar Singhai Ariyar Chakravarti – 1215-1240).

Yes from the above and various researches your statement of: “there is no land for Tamils in Srilanka, what we are talking about is the land in Tamil Eelam“ is absolutely false and deceitful.

There was and there is no “Tamil Elam“ land within the island.

What is occurring in SL is demographic movement or urban drift of rural settlers to increase productivity and hence achieve economic progress and sustainability.

You know why? We Tamils are materialistic kind of race, hoarding gold, and when progressed through a University or Technical education, want government jobs. No one wants to be a worker. Unlike Tamils, Sinhalese people are industrialists and entrepreneurs. I have explained this to GG Ponnambalam and MA Sumanthiran in my letters. Please refer www.nrnmind.blogspot.com  or http://www.calameo.com/subscriptions/1082493.

Now addressing your statement: ” the cast system is existing in all over the world even in Germany (within Germans) The Germans are trying to fight it with new laws. It is a cancer of the human being. I am fighting against this from my age of 16″.

Germans: Germans are known executioners of the Jews. Aren’t they mass murderers? You are not a German, then why did you opt to learn their language and settle in Germany within a predators’ community. Of course I value German products and understand their high technology. If you can live in Germany, why can’t you study the three languages in SriLanka and live with chockfull contentment.

The stories we hear is that Tamils in Germany practice the caste system worse than those in SriLanka. May be the Tamil elites, although, may be they look alike African, think that they are Aryans related to Germans. That’s the weakness of the Tamils.

Other point is that you state that it is a cancer. You know that there is no cure for cancer. So, what is your point please? Are you saying that Tamils will never change?

I like to say that Tamils in Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand are engaged in part time/full time toilet cleaning work. So what am I to judge their children as? Chakkiliyar or Vellalar?

You know in India, Brahmins are carrying out toilet maintenance work in Delhi, Andra and several states. Please refer my article “Race & Ethnicity“ in the Calameo web site. The philosophy is: Poverty will drive people to do any work, which should not constitute their status in life. Secondly when a country is invaded the inhabitants become the lower caste or low in status and will have to perform low level work. That has been human behavioural pattern.

People have to change and give up the caste distinctions, if they intent to maintain peace and harmony among the citizens and avid rebellious acts.

Chelvanayagam created the xenophobic transient deliberations among the Tamils which were counterproductive. Tamils were given significant opportunities to agree on a settlement from Parthasarathi to Ranil Wickramasinghe. We were fools not to accept any offer. We cannot blame GOSL. Anyone will only tolerate up to a certain point. Just imagine (i) the billions of dollars’ worth of materials LTTE destroyed (ii) billions of dollars spent by LTTE in procuring arms which has gone waste.

Wouldn’t you agree that if Tamils agreed to a settlement, this amount of dollars would have developed SriLanka, and elevated to a status better than Singapore or India for that matter?

What’s happening now? Tamils are on building splurge of Hindu temples all over the world. Wouldn’t you agree that if Tamils decide to build a few, and contribute the rest to develop SriLanka or North & East for that matter, that would be a good idea?

Wouldn’t you agree that the money you spend now in your floating work is a waste, and only reducing the unemployment issue in the west?

We Tamils cling onto “Tamil Language“ and the motto Tamils are great. Language, power, religion will not provide food for the Tamils.

Finally, it is of my view that a change in the political panorama in SL will drive TGTE, BTF, GTF and the lot to garbage disposal units in the west.

Please do not continue with this disorder and mayhem as the end result will be nothing, and you would have spent all your savings before crashing.

The west may be using you all for their political strategic framework. That’s what India did to Tamils and LTTE in the 70s.

Hope you guys will get out of this misery, and lead a good life educating your kids and look for a better future for your kids.

 Thanks

  1. Lorenzo Says:

All Tamilian homeland arguments end up in Kumarikkandam. If Tamils came from Kumarikkandam, go back to Kumarikkandam. Why bother SL.

Looks like Kumarikkandam was the Tamilian homeland. Don’t LINK SL to it. SL was no part of it.

  2. Lorenzo Says:

“there is no land for Tamils in Srilanka, what we are talking about is the land in Tamil Eelam.”

This confusion came up because we changed the name of Sinhale (Ceylon) into SL. If it remained Ceylon (Sinhale) this problem would not arise. There is more land in Tamil Madu. Tamils are safer to concentrate on Tamil Madu where there is no “genocide”, “structural genocide” and other mythical ET attacks.

  3. gdesilva Says:

“The west may be using you all for their political strategic framework. That’s what India did to Tamils and LTTE in the 70s.”

Now…these are words of real wisdom. I sincerely hope that Tamil Tigers and their sympathizers will realise this fact sooner than later….otherwise they all are going to end up with a fate similar to their Sun God, Prabakaran. The west will use them like cat’s paws (or tiger paws) and dump them just like they did with Gaddafi, Saddam, Bin Laden who initially worked with CIA to bring about regime changes in respective countries.

  4. Outspoken Sri Lankan Says:

Well said Mr.Kanthar P Balanathan. I wish there were more like you. You are absolutely right the cast system is so bad that it is despicable. Tamils complain when they have everything that anyone else can enjoy and what they call discrimination is the lack of opportunities that mostly affect the Sinhalese. They forget all the cheating at exams and occupying disproportionate number of places in universities, business leaders, professions and shout about Tamil language when even in Tamil Nadu Tamil is not the national language. They go to France, England, Australia, Canada, Germany and USA sometime not even knowing how to walk in a pair of shoes. The speak those languages in foreign countries but don’t want to learn the majority language in Sri Lanka

WE MUST ALL CAMPAIGN HEAVILY FOR A TAMIL HOMELAND TO KEEP THESE PEOPLE HAPPY. BUT IT WILL NOT BE IN SRI LANKA. TAMIL NADU HAS PLENTY OF SPACE, AND ANOTHER 70 MILLION WHO CAN JOIN THEM AND SEPARATE EACHOTHER WITH “KOHU LANU” (COCONUT FIBER ROPE) LIKE THEY DID EVEN IN THE REFUGEE CAMPS. IF THEY DON’T LIKE TAMIL NADU, THEY CAN USE THE KOHU LANU AND PUT A NOOSE ROUND THEIR NECKS AND LET SRI LANKANS LIVE IN PEACE!!
