We have been hearing some bizarre news recently. We have heard of husbands killing their own wives out of jealousy or for another woman, but how can we reconcile the fact the man killed not only his wife, but also the children including an infant?
We used to hear of drunken fathers killing the or own children, but recent news states not only the mother but also the grandmother got together with the mother to kill a child and to dump the body in some swamp. Horrible! It took a father who is an army officer to report the crime.
Then whoever had heard of young daughters plotting with their lovers killing their own parents? ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Where do they get these evil thoughts and where do they get the cunningness and the courage?
There is positively something going wrong with our society. Evil has come to roost and it is spreading to the younger generation.
Is it the open uncontrolled vice ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and unabated crime that is spreading from top to bottom of the social ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ fabric? Is it the effect of the media which ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ constantly ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ magnifies and glorifies the evil and crimes? Is it the lawlessness and the clear lack of punishment of the culprits? Is it the result of poorly planned education which does not garner the talents of people ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in constructive ways? Is it the high cost of living leading to frustration which in turn leads to forbidden thrills?
Whatever it is, it is time the society sat up and opened itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s eyes to find out what is going wrong. If not we are in for a real shock very soon.

And it is coming from ALREADY ROTTEN parts of the world where CHOPPING HEADS, HANDS, TOES, GENITALS and POLYGAMMY are a commonplace.
It is spreading very fast like a CANCER. It is a cancer.

Reasons are none of those. Main perpetrators here are those who expose our children to witness violence.
Take for example, your own community; you expose your children to witness barbaric slaughter of animal in the name of religion. From childhood they witness how throats of animals are being slit slowly so that animal can bleed to death. Even though 70% of the population is against this practice, you don’t give dam care about other’s feeling and continue to carry out this most primitive and medieval religious practice.
Those who exposed to this sort of violence during childhood, whether they are from Muslim community or Buddhist by sanders, can easily become violent in their adult life.
That is the main reason why such medieval practices are prohibited in developed countries and have introduced legislations to ensure animal slaughtering is conducted under strict supervision of government authority to cause minimum distress to the animal with use of stun guns etc.

Looks like the desert kingdom has made a bit of progress (from 700 AD to 701 AD), because beheading has been replaced by the firing squad. Hope they will reach the 21st century by the time the rest of the world is in 5000AD.

I do not approve of any killing let alone wife and two children. But which is bizarre news; man killing his wife and children in Sri Lanka or man raping a five year old child in India? I think it’s the latter.

Those societies are REALLY rotten but beyond salvage. We MUST accept SL society is slowly FOLLOWING them. It must be reversed.
When SL was 100% Buddhist, these rotten things NEVER happened.

Saudi govt. changed the weekend from Thursday-Friday to Saturday-Sunday!!!

What she has in mind is shariya law for Sri Lanka. That’s why they swell their numbers so they can have 100% halal, 100% shariya etc. etc. Another pakisthan, afganisthan, syria etc. for Sri Lanka. Not bad for going from Buddhism to ‘religion of peace’. We all are overjoyed. Even the animals are overjoyed.
