Maithripala to forms a new party, himself as President, Champika secretary of the party

According to Lankadeepa news report a new political party is to be formed with the leadership of Maithripala Sirisena and members of JHU behind the back of main position party UNP.
Initial preparatory work has been done on the basis of the separate MOU signed by Maithripala Sirisena and JHU members.
Even though the party is to be strengthen on the UNP voter base, UNP has not been consulted. The New party president would be Maithripala Sirisena while the General Secretary would be Patali Champika Ranawaka. The leader of UNP Ranil Wickremasinghe had already expressed his displeasure on this issue and still waiting for Maithripala Sirisena’s explanation.

An excellent move, all part of the plan by real patriots!. Now then UNP cannot have their own candidate, My3 can make the My3 Palanaya real. UNP good people may join if they wish. Even the President is welcome as Patali said. Loving Kindness does not exclude any being.

Actually, it sounds the DEATH KNELL of the Common Opposition … as Tissa Attanayake noted in his wailing letter of resignation from the UNP.
Which UNPer would want to vote to germinate a “growing cancer” at the expense of their own Party?
I have said before that Palwatte Gamaralage Maithripala Yapa Sirisena, the Common Candidate, is an uncommonly STUPID man. With this confirmatory stupid move, he has ensured a Landslide VICTORY for President Mahinda Rajapaksa!
He FIRST JOINS the “Opposition” to get UNP support for his candidacy, and then immediately sets about DESTROYING the UNP from within.
Is this Maithripala’s TRUE INTENTION; the final and total emasculation of the UNP?
Therefore, there is ANOTHER INTERPRETATION to this SEEMING IDIOCY of the Common Candiadate.
Is he really NOT AN ALLY, but a self-sacrificing “SUICIDE BOMBER” deliberately sent to WREAK HAVOC in the Opposition, when the Opposition was flailing about SEARCHING DESPERATELY for an elusive “Common Candidate”?
OMG, In that case, he is doing a TERRIFIC JOB to undermine the Opposition; not STUPID at all!
If this is IDIOCY BY DESIGN, THAT is what I call a MASTER TROJAN-HORSE STROKE, a VIRAL hacker attack, against the UNP!
