RAJAPAKSA SAYS RIDICULOUS POWER WHO KILLED ALL MEN ABOVE 18 YEARS IN SRI LANKA IS TRYING TO TEACH US HUMAN RIGHTS

President Mahinda Rajapaksa said yesterday certain powers who killed all young men above 18 years following the great rebellion in Uva Wellassa in Sri Lanka are ridiculously trying to teach us human rights today.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The President said, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-They are targeting Sri Lanka for the violations of human rights today to cover up their own sins in these massacres of the past.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-They systematically destroyed a self ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…”sufficient economy by destroying the great irrigation works in the area. This area was an extremely rich area that was converted into that of poverty,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ the President said addressing a meeting of disabled people at Pelawatte Sugar Plantation premises in the ancient Wellassa area where the great rebellion of Sri Lanka took place in 1818 against the British imperialists.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It was considered the greatest freedom struggle of the Sri Lankan people against the British yoke in which the great Keppitpola took over the leadership at the tail end of the uprising., whose severed head as punishment was later enshrined in a tomb at the centre of the hill capital of Kandy.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ President Rajapaksa said following the 1818 rebellion of Uva Wellassa the result of loving oneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s own country and nation, the result of trying to emancipate oneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s own people from foreign yoke were inherited a ruined economy of destroyed irrigation works and farm lands .
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ President Rajapaksa charged the then rulers of Sri Lanka, the British, without referring to them by the name for the crimes.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ He said today, to protect the same country which was rescued by the modern heroes of the countyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s armed forces, every citizen will have to put in a certain amount of hard work.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ President Rajapaksa said the great irrigation works destroyed by the imperialists by conspiracy will be reconstructed by his government to its old glory. The economy destroyed by the conspiracy will be regenerated , the President promised.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Historical records indicate acres and acres of rice fields owned by the people of Uva Wellassa were torched by the British soldiers as punitive damage to the area due to the rebellion and the scared peasants lived in the jungles for a lengthy periods of time after being driven out from their farmlands. The great barren areas such as the present Keppetipola Plains (the former Wilson Plains named after one British General who led the arson and loot of the area) is still known as Palugama (= the destroyed and abandoned village) close to Welimada.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ President Rajapaksa referred to the Uva ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…”Wellassa area as a rich area converted to a poor area that would once again converted back to its old splendour. He said his government will regenerate the same ruined economy to that of prosperity soon. He said he will see to that small local bodies , Provincial Councils and the central government work smoothly and harmoniously like cog wheels of a great and efficient machine to uplift the country to a higher standard of living for the people.
The President said a Presidential unit will be installed to serve all disabled people nation wide.

With in three years Sinhalese realised what their hidden agendas, how unrealiable,cunning and greedy Britishers were and decided a freedom fight originated in Uva wellassa.This was a true freedom fight against British when large countries like india,egypt,whole africa, were well obedient to invaders.
British murderous invaders army led by Major Mc donald, Lt Mc Cornell, Lt Taylor with the help of Tamil Nadu originated Sepoy battalion(Coolies) with 6000 infantry and British infantry battalions set fire all the buddist temples including 7th century built Maligavila 15 meters high single standing rock buddah statue was fallen and broken in to pieces similar way muhajideens destroyed Bamian statue in Afganistan.(So Britishs taught Muhajideens how to destroy buddist statues),also they set fire to houses, villages,livestock to feed their army,destroyed irrigations and burned what ever they could burn.They killed all the men above 14 years and raped all the women over 14. One of the cruel murderous act by British invaders in modern world history.Entire district was destroyed.Mass genoside and ethnic cleansing started in Wellassa.

Hook who hanged any one he suspected to be a rebel or a collaborator.(UNO navi pillai,Human right watch,Amnesty International were not there at that time even they were exsited they may keep silence like to scenarios in Iraq, Afganistan and Gaza)
After the freedom fighters mascred by invaders they started ethnic clensing of Sinhales in wellassa and settled tamil nadu people in near by districts and messed Sinhale.
Entire world knows the murderous dirty history of Pommies. Shame! yet these British brutal Pommies try to teach others!Those lessons are good for Navi Pillai and Amnesty International or HRW.Pommies don’t try to teach us human rights we buddists learned human rights from our great philosoper Siddartha Gauthama Buddah in 2500 years before at that time your ancesters were hunting in the jungles in canibal/barbarian statues.We know how to respect our tamil brothers and sister.We fought only with terrorists not with tamil brothers and sisters.

Sorry readers Kandyn convention or treaty signed in 1815 sorry for the error. Uva Wellassa freedom fight was in 1817-1818.
