How much did LTTE pay Miliband to speak at Global Tamil Forum?

Despite protests by the Sri Lankan government, David Miliband, British Foreign Secretary, had addressed the Global Tamil Forum (GTF) creating sour relations between the two countries.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
The Sri Lankan govt has expressed displeasure because the GTF is the current LTTEƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ network in the west and their agenda is to set up a separate state called the ‘Trans-National Govt of Tamil Eelam’. This would be a direct threat to the sovereignity of Sri Lanka. Therefore, David Miliband by addressing the GTF had become a supporting pillar of the LTTE lending credibility to an organisation which propogates separatist policy.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
The GTF is an LTTE front organisation and its leaders were the fund raisers for the LTTE which in turn funded various political parties and politicians in western countries.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
In his speech, he has said that he strongly supports and advocates non-violence and that peace is not found in weapons and warfare. However, he did not say this when the LTTE was creating mayhem in Sri Lanka and then during the war against the terrorists he was trying toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ lecture theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ President how to run the war. Now he is preaching how theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lankan govt should run its affairs. Miliband still thinks that Sri Lanka is a British colony. He should use his time toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ sort out terrorism in the Uk andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Northern Ireland.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
He has also said that, “…LTTE , a terrorist organisation, which committed countless atrocities itself, which refused to tolerate dissent, which forcibly recruitedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  children as soldiers and which again refused to allow Tamil civilians to escape from fighting…” But at the time while Sri Lanka wasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ fighting terrorism, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ he turned a blind eye to these atrocities and entertained LTTE supporters andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ spoke on their behalf.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
A question that has been asked by neutral observers is how much was he paid by the LTTEƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ for addressing the Global Tamil Forum? Because the fund raising LTTE Net Work is a Multinational Corporation, budgeting more than US$300 million per year.

David Miliband has failed to realise that the end of the terrorist war brought peace not only to Sri Lanka but also to its neighbouring countries and South Asia in general.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

David Miliband is a third rate politician and if this is the quality of British politicians today, then Britain is going downhill pretty fast. There was a time when we looked upto British politicians as great and honourable gentleman and great leaders. I am sad to say that this joker cannot hold a candle to President Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka who is an honourable man who kept his promise to wipe out Terrorism from Sri lanka. What are the achievements of David Milliband that we can be proud of. I believe it is zero and it is high time the British public realised this. He spends his time interfering in the affairs of foreign countries unsuccessfully at the expense of the British public. If the British voters do not vote him out of office at the next election, shame on them and they deserve all they get for their stupidity. This man is in the pay of the Terrorist and the British government should look into his asserts. I bet there will be unaccountable wealth in his accounts. He is causing great damage to the global image of Great Britain.

Siri, you are spot on when you say David Milliband is a third rate politician but you got it wrong to say that if this is the quality of today’s British politicians, then Britain is going downhill pretty fast. The fact is it has been going down that path for a long time and these fellows are only accelarating the pace. If Milliband is bad, what can we say for his leader, British PM, Gordon Brown? Is Brown any better? Milliband is an upstart, is cocky and ill mannered and is an embarrassment to his government.

Yes, time was when British politicians (at least, most of them) conducted themselves with honour and dignity and were not prepared to sell their souls for votes.
