Dear Editor,
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
I read a column in Sunday Times of 4 July 2010 titled ‘War crimes panel: Options available for Lanka’ which might surprise mostƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and its worth reading.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Here’s the short comment I made on this.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
I couldn’t believe that Mahinda, being the Supreme CommanderƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ made this grave mistake and made a commitment to Moon;ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
‘Rajapaksa has given an undertaking to Ban that the conduct of the security forces would be subjected to international scrutiny’.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Well now he has to unleash this mess and tax the Think Tank, of course this is noƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ hint toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of abandoning this courageous man at this crucial juncture.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Your options seem attractive however we could go further.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  TheƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ unbalanced world power and hypocrisy of Anglo
Saxons is behind all this push to nail Sri Lanka as they have the habit of smelling filth of others while their own filth doesn’t smell. You would ‘t find a single Anglo Saxon on this planet who would be bold enough to mentionƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ war crimes committed by Americans and British.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Anglo Saxon needs a flogging and what better way than a powerless country like Sri Lanka a sprat in UN taking on the Whales the Americans and the British, with the backing of Russian, China, Netherland, Germany, Japan etc. etc. and NAM countries forcing Moon to appoint a panel to advise him on War crimes committed by Americans and
British during Panama and Iraq invasions.

– end of comment.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
