In the face of « terrorism » unleashed by the International Community in Libya, terrorism of Al Qeida, Talibans and LTTE fades into insignificance

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Who is a terrorist and what is terrorismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The definitions vary, but all definitions have been made by some one from the repressive West.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The West or the International Community which alwaysƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  had come forward to pontificate , educate and advise the rest of the world, had always been the terrorists of the world.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The International Community took up the roll of bringing “the people ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦..from barbarism to civilization” forcing theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Christian civilization down the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-throatsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  the conquered nations.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The great task of definingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  all that was out side theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-CivilizationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  asƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  savage barbarism fell on the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-intellectualsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ of theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  West.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In bringing its civilizationƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  theseƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ savages ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- , ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-barbariansƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ or ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- non-believers- the hereticsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ burning them alive to make them give up their ancestral ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-barbaricƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  beliefsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ to accept its GodƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  was a holy war.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  We have for that the example of theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Inquisition which was an institution ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  the Roman Catholic Church..

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Looking back into the horror that the conquering West brought to the people of thoseƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  conquered nations, it is right to think of thoseƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- conquerors ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- as terrorists.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is thereforeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  necessary to seeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  howƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  the Western ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-IntellectualsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ themselves defined ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a terrorist and terrorism. A terrorist isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  defined as, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a person who employs terror or terrorism, especially as a political weapon, or a radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Then they ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ definesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  act of terrorism, terrorism as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-..the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Wikipedia states , ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In the meantime, the international community adopted a series of sectoral conventions that define and criminalize various types of terrorist activities. In addition, since 1994, the United Nations General Assembly has condemned terrorist acts using the following political description of terrorism: “Criminal acts intended or calculated to provoke a state of terror in the general public, a group of persons or particular persons for political purposes are in any circumstance unjustifiable, whatever the considerations of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or any other nature that may be invoked to justify themƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ However when we trace back into the history the West the International Community had been the worst terrorists through its wars toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  bring ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- its civilizationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ to the rest of the world.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The torture and savagery inflicted on the people of Mexico and Peru in the 16th century byƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Spanish conquistadorsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  is unimaginable. They forced them to give up theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ancestral beliefs byƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  torturing and mutilating them andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  by burning them alive in stakes to force others to acceptƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  their God.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And their were the wars called the Crusades organized by the Pope and the Roman Catholic Europeans (strangely ) France and the Holy Roman Empire against the Sarrasins the people of the Muslim faith whom they called the pagans in the 16th Century.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The crusades continued for 200 years where the Arabs and Jews were massacred to free the Holy Land. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In these Crusades, many atrocities were committed against the Arabs and Jews . The WikipediaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  writes, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦They proceeded to massacre the remaining Jewish and Muslim civilians and pillaged or destroyed mosques and the city itself. One historian has written that the “isolation, alienation and fear” felt by the Franks (French) so far from home helps to explain the atrocities they committed, including the cannibalism which was recorded after the Siege of Ma’arra in 1098.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ After liberating Jerusalem they settled down creating their ownƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  State, which finally ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ gave rise to several other Crusades which became a war against non-Christians.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The International Community conquered countriesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and brutalized the inhabitants, in South Africa Apartheid, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- A social policy or racial segregation involving political and economic and legal discrimination against people who are not Whites; the former official policy in South Africa.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That was also a brutal terrorism against the Africans- the children of Africa.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ When the British colonized Sri Lanka the Sinhala people in WellassaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  rose in rebellion against the British.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The British forces subjugated the rebels by burning villages and killing all youth over 18 years of Age.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It was repeated by the British in MataleƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  where there was another rebellion against the occupying British colonials.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In India Brigadier General Reginald Edward Harry Dyer, British Indian Army Officer opened fire on unarmed civilians, including women and children, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ who had gathered at Jallianwalla Bagh to participate in the annual Baisakhi celebrations which are both a religious and a cultural festival of the Punjabis, it came to be known later as the Amritsar massacre.

In Kenya the British Colonial GovernmentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ruled that taking the Mau Mau oath a capital offence. Between 1953 and 1956 more than 1,000 Africans were hanged for alleged Mau Mau crimes. Public hangings, which had been outlawed in Britain for over a century, were carried out in Kenya during the emergency .

Professor Lonsdale explains, “A mobile gallows was transported around the country dispensing ‘justice’ to ‘Mau Mau’ suspects…. Dead ‘Mau Mau’, especially commanders, were displayed at cross-roads, at market places and at administrative centres.” ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

In Algeria the Colonial Government of France killed and torturedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  thousands of Algerians . ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ An important watershed in the War of Independence was the massacre of civilians by the FLN near the town of Philippeville in August 1955. Before this operation, FLN policy was to attack only military and government-related targets. The wilaya commander for the Constantine region, however, decided a drastic escalation was needed. The killing by the FLN and its supporters of 123 people, including old women and babies, shocked Soustelle into calling for more repressive measures against the rebels. The government claimed it killed 1,273 guerrillas in retaliation; according to the FLN, 12,000 Muslims perished in an orgy of bloodletting by the armed forces and police, as well as colon gangs. After Philippeville, all-out war began in Algeria.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚»

In Vietnam the French and Americans continued massacre of the Vietcong andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  whole villages suspected of having given protection to Vietcong were burnt and people massacred.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ USA is built on the blood of the native American Indians.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The Ku klux Klan in America killedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and lynched innumerable number of Black Americans for the crime of being ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ BlackƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚»

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The International Community led by America was responsible for the dropping of Atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is these very same terrorists – the International Community, whichƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  has ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to-day declared war onƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  the Sovereign State of Libya, on the pretextƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  to avoid a blood bath ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  civilians in Bengazi.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In avoiding a blood bath in Bengazi by the armed forces of Colonel Gaddafi, the International Community is ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ bombarding all over Libya covering up death of civilians by maintaining a silence on the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ death of civilians in bombardments..

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Resolution 1973 of the UN Security Council was just a means for them to move into Libya and bombardƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  with the one and only objective of getting rid of Gaddafi.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It wasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  similar to the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ lieƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» George Bush put forward, thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Iraq is in possession of weapons of Mass destruction to declare war in Iraq and assassinate Sadam Hussain.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The latest information is that NATO has taken over the command of the military operations in Libya.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There was no real threatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  to Bengazi by the Armed Forces ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Gaddafi for the forced intervention ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and bombardment by the International Community.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The uprising in Benghazi ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ was not much more than it was any where else in Libya at the time. It ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ would have been brought under control by Colonel Gaddafi without an ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-imaginedƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ blood bath, but Nicholas Sarkozi seeing the opportunity to counter Colonel GaddafiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s threat that Europe will be left out from Libyan oil distribution, hastenedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  to recognize a few diaspora Libyans as a provisional government of Libya to start his ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  CrusadeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» to get a nominal sanction from the UN Security Council to declare war in Libya.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ As the resolution 1973 of the UN Security council does not authorise bombardment of Libya and demandƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Colonel Gaddafi to leave Libya, the International Community has over stepped the mandate under resolution 1973 and they are therefore ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ terrorists ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» interfering militarilyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  in the Sovereign State of Libya.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Secretary General of UN if he has any ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ gutsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» he ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ should demand the International Community to desist from further military involvement in Libya.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Failing thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Ban Ki Moon should resign fromƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  his post of Secretary General of UNO inƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  which he has become a nonentity, a mere puppet manipulated by the International Community.

The UN resolution approving military intervention in Libya does not allow for any pursuit of regime change . But the International Community arguing thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  as long as Gaddafi remains in power, his people are in danger wants to bomb the Colonel GaddafiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s residence, to do away with him.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  They did that once in 1986 but failed to kill him but killed his daughter instead.

If the International Community kills Gaddafi in an aerial bombardment it will amount toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  an assassination and in that event theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  International Community should be hauled before a war crimes Tribunal.

The war crazy International Community has become an enemy number one of the World, specially of the developing Nations today, as it has taken on itself to decide which government in which country should be in place and which government should be ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ dismissedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» by their military intervention.

In the face of the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ terrorismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» unleashed byƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  of Internationa Community in Libya,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  the terrorism of Al Qeida, Talibans and LTTE terrorists fades into insignificance .

The Arab Sates as well as all independent Nations, should unite to call the International Community to stop its military adventure in Libya.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It will be Libya today and yet another tomorrow.

It amy be our turn tomorrow, if we are not alert. We just missed their invasion thanks to MR.
The West is a deadly greedy lot after resources of under developed nations.

Western countries are rich and they will more and more richer than poor countries. Some politicians in poor countries also will more richer than others. When their are unemployment problems in poor countries, it is easier to
misguide the youths by opposition parties. The aim of the western countries are keep the poor nations always poor.
When we belive in that western countries help us the poor, we will destroy ourself.

What is going on in southern America. Western Investers exploiting the countries. Northern America is richer than south even south have enough resources. Terrorism and Capitalism are friends at night.

  3. Leela Says:

Few days back, BBC reported as Obama said; “Make no mistake, because we acted quickly, a humanitarian catastrophe has been avoided and the lives of countless civilians – innocent men, women and children – have been saved.” That is the same thing Bush said years ago when the US and its allies started war on Iraq and Afghanistan. But the war in those two countries continues to date.

Only difference between that and this is; the Caucasian consortium got the UN approval this time. But everyone expected Russia and China would use their veto power. But the fact that Caucasian consortium duped Arab League to back the resolution did the unexpected. Five countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China (Bric) and Germany — decided not to vote.

The Arab League should have found out more about those ‘civilian’ demonstrators before they backed the resolution by Anglo-French-American consortium. Among hosts of questions, they should have found out how ‘civilians’ got all types of weapons like machine guns, not stones and Molotov cocktails in their hands. Such was not the situation if demonstrators in Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia or Yemen. They were unarmed.

However, thinking has changed since. On 25th Friday Amr Moussa, head of the Arab League, said the organization had only supported the enforcement of a no-fly zone and not full-scale bombing in Libya. The African Union’s panel on Libya announced late night on Saturday 26th that it would follow up on its opposition to the air strikes by calling a meeting in Addis Ababa on Friday.

On the same day, South Africa and Lebanon if the African Union and the Arab League had taken today’s position at that time, they would not have voted for the Council’s resolution. Though India never said the same words, it has hardened its opposition to the Anglo-French, US military action against Libya.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday 27th likened the UN Security Council resolution supporting military action in Libya to medieval calls for crusades. China’s most important political newspaper ratcheted up the country’s criticism of Western airstrikes against Libya on Monday, comparing them to the US-led invasions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sri Lankan government and all Sri Lankan should do their bit to oppose Caucasian aggression for we know what Anglo-French-American consortium had done in many countries in the past.

Good article by Charles. Charles has exposed the imperialists who tried to help LTTE so that imperialists could take over control of the sea around Lanka. I believe even Norway had that idea. LTTE was merely a tool of the West and it was a tool of India, until India realised that LTTE could dedstabilize India. Thousands die due to starvation and disease but the imperialists do not care. They are however good at inventing excuses to invade other countries. R2P was one of their inventions to invade other countries. We have to be prepared to defend against foreign invasion.

  5. Lorenzo Says:

Obama the Obliterator is worse than Bush the Butcher.

  6. Kit Athul Says:

An excellent article in a timely manner is always presented by Charles. I have a questions for the readers is; What is Libyan asset freeze? I think it is stealing the money that Libya has deposited in European and US banks. Every one knows that EU is bankrupt so this stolen money can be used by EU to come out of bankruptcy. Are these people who took over as democratic liberators specially in Egpt, can we assume that they are patriotic Egptians and are not jockying for political positions? And if they are not, why is Mohamad Al Bradai taking about the water flow on the river Nile. In Ethiopia a river that feeds river Nile is damed and part of the water fall fed by this river is dry. What if river Nile dries up. Where is the water for Aswan dam? Where is EU? Where is US taking about this urgent issue?

  7. Sri Rohana Says:

On January 25, 2009, Muammar Al Gaddafi announced that his country was studying the nationalization of foreign companies due to lower oil prices.
These statements have worried the main foreign companies operating in Libya: Anglo-Dutch Shell, British Petroleum, U.S. Exxon Mobil, Hess Corp., Marathon Oil, Occidental Petroleum and ConocoPhillips, the Spanish Repsol, Norway’s Statoil, Itali’s Eni and Canada’s Petro Canada.

The countries invaded Libya are U.S, U.K and France supported by Norway six, F-16 fighter jets, Canada six, CF-18 fighter jets, Denmark six, F-16 Fighter jets, Spain four, F-18 fighter jets, 1 Frigate, 1 Submarine, Two bases at NATO’s disposal, Italy 7 Bases offered, 4, Tornado bombers and 6 fighter planes.

To understand this simple fact need not to be a rocket scientist or political science pundit. Control of Petroleum resource is the main factor of this invasion. At the end it’s the Euro-American neocolonial endless greediness.
