The Scotland Yard and the British Tax Authorities (HM Revenue & Customs) either in slumber mood or evading opening a can of worms. I am talking of the millions of dollars and pounds in the hands of the LTTE proxy Diaspora in UK, how they raised that kind of money (according to JaneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Report , LTTE collects close to $300 millions a year world wide which I believe UK would account at least 50% of it) and how the money is now being spent for its propaganda. This is important as LTTE is a banned terrorist organization but the siblings of the LTTE terrorist outfit are still very active in UK having substantial financial assets to throw about. The Scotland Yard, Metropolitan Police and the British Taxation Authorities (HMR&C) should wake up from slumber and investigate into the activities of various LTTE fronts and their modus operandi of collecting funds for LTTE.
Whilst LTTE being a banned terrorist outfit in UK, The LTTE proxy fronts World Tamil Forum led by a senile Rev Emanuel (subsequently changed the name to Global Tamil Forum to avoid any investigation of the activities of WTF) and the British Tamil Forum now led by Suren Surendiran launched in 2006 have been openly supporting LTTE financially, morally and logistically by funding to procure arms illegally under the patronage of the successive British Governments, MPs and the law enforcement authorities. These fronts organized many day-night demonstrations in the London city inconveniencing thousands of British residents, costing British tax payers millions of pounds in a vain attempt to rescue LTTE from getting annihilated by the Sri Lankan forces.

The Global Tamil Forum (GTF) launched on 26/3/2009 was in operation for many years in UK under another LTTE front called World Tamil Forum. The British Tamil Forum(BTF) has been in operation from 2006 and both these fronts were promoting, supporting LTTE whilst it was a banned terrorist outfit in UK.
I will not be surprised if these two LLTTE fronts have been receiving funds even from the UK governments as charity.

Since there is no more war left to fight by the LTTE and the LTTE fronts now do not need to use LTTE funds to procure arms illegally. Instead, their latest strategy is to use those funds to buy over influential politicians, councilors, print and electronic media (Channel 4, BBC etc) human rights organizations, academics etc in UK . Same goes with USA, Canada, Norway and EU countries. But UK politicians and print and electronic media seem to be the biggest benefactors of LTTE funds.

Who paid Callum Macrae, Jon Snow and his film crew for this production? Who paid Channel 4 to telecast the infamous doc? Surely Channel 4 who alleged to have on the edge bankruptcy wouldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t have done this for nothing. The British public would want to know where they got funds for this project to humiliate Sri Lanka. Then you have some of the Labour and Conservative politicians, existing MPs and Lost MPs , councilors, human rights organizations, print and electronic media like Channel 4 who are in the LTTE propaganda lobby. The politicians (mostly Labour and a few Consevatives) in the UK Parliament are talking in support of the LTTE rump for their Tamil votes and money where as the others including the print and electronic media are chasing big money from the LTTE Diaspora for the greed of dollars and pounds. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s therefore high time the Scotland Yard and the British Taxation Office investigated into the bank accounts of those MPs (The Scotland Yard, British Taxation Office & the Metropolitan Police by now should have all the names in their books albeit no action taken) academics, print and electronic media, journalists who are still supporting LTTE terrorist outfit overtly and covertly while still being a banned terrorist outfit in UK. They should not be exonerated including Channel 4 from the guilt of receiving funds, perks from the LTTE Diaspora for doing propaganda work for the LTTE?

If so, isnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it illegal to receive funds from fronts who were and are supporting separatist LTTE terrorists as LTTE is a banned terrorist outfit in UK ?. The British Taxation Authorities should investigate into the bank accounts of the LTTE fronts including GTF and BTF who have been supporting LTTE in UK under the guise of different names but run by the same people were well in existence much earlier than the LTTE was militarily defeated.. Then there is a woman Labour MP who lost the election but alleged to be employed as CEO by GTF.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is therefore the responsibility of the Scotland Yard and the British Taxation Authorities to investigate into the accounts of all LTTE fronts which were operating in UK, bank accounts of the politicians, councilors who have been openly supporting the LTTE and the print and electronic media who was doing propaganda for LTTE to ensure that they have not received any funds, perks and other benefits from the LTTE funds. I believe receiving funds from LTTE terrorists fronts is illegal in UK .Recent case in Netherlands where five LTTE terrorist supporters have been arrested for raising funds for LTTE is a case in point and British authorities should follow suit.

Some one may be able to get a good idea if you check how many tamils are working for the British Tax collecting agency. Via those people, Tamils may have bought everything. In that, they won’t check it.
Besides, Here it is said, that LTTE money is in legal business enterprises. So, no one will be able to do anything. Those days, they gave money to open businesses and for training leading to self employmeny and all had to pay taxes to LTTE.
Besides, go the web pages and see the objectives of the INGOs helping them. Besides, their financial contributions, people supporting INGOs also may be working for these agencies.

moneylaundering and Terrorism work hand in hand all over the world. To fight against Terrorism we need a world wide cooperation. I hope Sri Lankan Government will take necessary steps. It is 30 years back history. This matter
not only in uk or anyother western countries but also in Sri Lanka.

Thank you Malin for highlighting this vital issue. Ultimately it is the money supply that will keep the anti-Sri Lankan Tamil activities going. To Block this is a tough one. My suspicion is that already most of the funds have been laundered, sanitized and re-invested in every possible way to yield a steady income stream that will be recognised as ‘legit’! The world had a high opinion about the fairness of British Justice, but not anymore. The only way they could redeem this image is to be fair to all and have no mercy for corrupt individuals whether friend or foe and whether rich or poor.
It is long past time when the British Govt should have taken action to investigate how the LTTE and its front organisations have been using their huge collection of funds and other assts, which are said to be increasing in value every year by over two to three hundred million sterling pounds.
It would be very interesting to know their sources for these funds too. Are Govt Depts still contributing to these bogus charities and are they still exempt from taxation? Yes the simple answer is to Audit the LTTE, GTF, BTF funds and the funds of other similar organisations, by either the Govt Auditors or by a reputed private firm appointed by the Govt.

Scotland Yard and the British Tax Authorities (HM Revenue & Customs), they will do anything because this supper country have much inteligent MP’s who has no clue about SL, one labour MP and One Tory MP, I like these idiots to go to SL first before they talk rubbish. By the way they got paid they are on pay role so those idiots will talk ,NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO OUR COUNTRY SL it will remain as lovely as it is . Well here is a new update, we are now supported by China and Russia, by two generally known opposing the West super powers. I don’t know, for some reason, i have a feeling that we are on the wrong side of the battlefield. Tensions in the modern age are extremely high. War is inevitable. Ever heard that story, capture Sri Lanka, and you can control the entire Eastern hemisphere. As for this, these stubborn jerks will just pretend they will not hear anything. I feel they are kind of jealous that we are basking in freedom while they have huge security issues with taliban and al queda targeting their backs. All i can say is this…… With patience comes wisdom. We have to wait. If any Sri Lankans go rioting in front of British parliament and here comes the LTTE supporters, and clash. And our government has another prob to look to right?
