Radhika stabs Sri Lanka in the back again

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Radhika Coomaraswamy, the Under-Secretary General for Children in Armed Conflict, was caught red-handed once again engaged in anti-Sri Lankan activities.
UN staff were shocked to find a daily press review issued from her office propagandizing the controversial footage of Channel 4 titled ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Killing Fields of Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. In her daily press review which she circulates within the UN she has gone out of her way to announce that this video was going to be aired by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” a deliberate move to propagandize the ant-Sri Lankan footage among the UN and other international agencies. .

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ABC ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” Sri Lanka – 05 July – ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-A British television documentary, aired on ABC’s Four Corners program last night, showed evidence of rape, torture and murder of civilians during the Sri Lankan government’s war against the Tamil tigers.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This is not a subject that comes under her purview. She is responsible for children in armed conflict. But her office had circulated the Channel 4 footage which is an anti-Sri Lankan propaganda exercise.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ When confronted by the Sri Lankan mission at the UN she backtracked denying any responsibility. She had said that she had no idea of such a press release and blamed it on the staff which consists mainly of Malaysian Tamils recruited by her. By and large, Malaysian Tamils are linked directly with the agents of the LTTE, particularly the Tamils in Australia. This is also one of her subterfuges: to avoid being accused of recruiting Sri Lankan Tamils she recruits Malaysian Tamils who are known to be sympathizers of Tamil Tigers.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Exposing her anti-Sri Lankan activities Rajiva Wijesinghe, former head of the Peace Secretariat, wrote that she has a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-long and chequered history of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦.relentless interference with Sri Lanka while an official of the United NationsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ One of her hostile acts was to threaten Sri Lanka with direct international intervention at the height of the war against Tamil Tigers using the provisions of Responsibility to Protect. She sent her buddy, Gareth Evans who was then head of the ICG, to lecture to the nation from the ICES podium on the possibility of taking action under R2P. She also sent her other buddy Philip Alston to pick up dirt from Sri Lanka to accuse the government of using child soldiers, a calculated move to tar the Sri Lankan government with the same brush used against the LTTE.
Ms. Coomaraswamy is also noted for washing her hands off whenever she is in a tight corner. At the height of the internal crisis in 2008 at the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES) ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” her political base in Colombo — it was found that books were not kept according the acceptable accounting standards and she could not account for the missing funds. She denied any responsibility saying that she merely signed payments that were put in front of her by her Financial Controller and did not question or scrutinize the payments. She got away by passing the buck to the Financial Controller whom she said was ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-incompetentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. She also spent $250,000 on a tamasha held at the Galle Face Hotel in honour of her political guru and partner, Neelan Tiruchelvam, who was assassinated by the LTTE.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Disowning responsibility for acts committed under her stewardship has become a habit with her. She and the ICES have been in the forefront demanding accountability and transparency from all other institutions but when it comes to their own roles the head runs away blaming the others. She is now repeating the role of Mrs. Pontius Pilate at the UN too.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ms. Coomaraswamy notable anti-Sri Lankan act was when the ambassador to the UNHRC in Geneva, Dayan Jayatilleka, overturned the resolution of the Western block condemning the manner in which Sri Lanka ended the 33-year-old Vadukoddai War waged by the Jaffna Tamils (she is also from Jaffna). The moment she heard that the motion was defeated she sent angry e-mails accusing Jayatilleka of making ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-obnoxiousƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ speeches which had resulted in ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-terribleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ consequences. She also has never forgiven Rajiva Wijesinghe, the former head of the Peace Secretariat, for calling for an inquiry into her anti-Sri Lankan activities, particularly the conflict of interests. She even and called him a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-racistƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. Her ambition is to use the UN as her guillotine to chop the heads of Sri Lankans. In a vindictive note she also wrote to Society for Peace Unity and Human rights in Melbourne Australia, saying that she deletes e-mails coming from Rajiva Wijesinghe without even reading them.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Her daily press review announcing the airing of Channel 4 video is seen as an unwarranted attack of a member state on a subject that does not concern Ms. Coomaraswamy. Sri Lankans are questioning why Ban Ki-Moon, UNSG, is not taking action on Ms. Coomaraswamy anti-Sri Lankan activities. The bias is quite evident and her conduct has come under fire even from Inner City Press, a UN-based media outlet, for her questionable role with regard to children in Myanmar, Brazil and India. Ban Ki-Moon has come under fire for the conduct of his high-ranking staff, including Radhika Coomaraswamy whose record on protecting children globally has hardly improved under her watch.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Knowing her common tactic of passing the buck to minor staff diplomats have rejected her excuses as unworthy of an Under Secretary-General of the UN. Command responsibility applies to heads of any institutions. If the heads are eager to take credit for successes scored by them then they also must accept responsibility for the failures, particularly in handling sensitive political issues of member states.

Navi Pillay and Coomaraswamy are both unsuited to the positions they hold due to their ethnic affiliations and openly demonstrated partiality towards the Tamil Ethno-Nationalistic movement. The self-appointed white masters of this planet decried the expert opinions provided by Siri Hewawitharana on the nefarious ‘CH4 videos’ simply on the grounds that Siri is a Sinhala Sri Lankan and as such he was presumed to have a conflict of interest to give evidence on the matter. However, here is the most gigantic conflict of interest and downright open bias in two women- Pillay and Coomaraswamy of the Global Tamil sisterhood – these women are using the UN as the Tamil Eelaam Headquarters and calling the shots on persecution of Sri Lanka. This is the ‘mother of all conflicts of interests’; but, the white masters and the yellow man heading the UN are blind to it!
There is a pithy Sinhala saying “wetath niyarath goyam kaa nam kaata pawasami e amaaruwa?’ meaning “when the fence and the bund (which are there to protect the rice harvest) are eating the rice; to whom will I go to unburden my grief?’

Great article to show the nakedness of UN and it’s racist Tamil officials. Thanks Mr. Mahindapala for exposing the real truth again.
This incompetent Tamil woman Radhika must have some way (may be a tasty bodily way) of convincing her UN bosses. That may be the reason why she always escapes without a scratch. Once she grows old and show some bodily ageing, she might not get the same opportunity to escape. I guess the story for the other Tamil racist woman in UN, Navi Pillai is the same.

Oops ! I just noted her title “under secatry general” ! That justifies my claim before about how she gets away every time. It is because she is always “under” the secatry general so the secatry genaral will not take any actions against the lady who is providing “some great fun” “being “under” or “underneath” the secatry general !

She was promoted by Sri Lanka in the 1990s for an international role. Then government must take responsibility for her racist conduct today. In future, the government should avoid promoting shady characters no matter how good they may sound.
With these two Tamil women in such top positions it is certainly not possible to have anything “independent” from them. Tamils should not be in charge of looking into Tamil allegations. Clearly there is a conflict of interest.

I reluctantly say that Navi Pillay,Coomaraswamy behaves in a way of a DIRTY ILLETERATE WOMEN THAT INVADES FIELDs NOT RELEVENT TO THEM. Fxx— Weise is another who says 40,000 killed by SL Soldiers in his book, MEANT FOR THE FOOLISH TAMIL DIASPORA and later when questioned DISOWNS THAT FIGURE.

Every time our FM Prof GL Peris goes to UN in NY, he hugs, worships Radhika, brushing aside the Sri Lankan patriots who selflessly fight the Radhika brigade. GL thinks that by sucking upto Radhika, she will refrain from attacking SL. How wrong our politicos are!. Radhika may well use GL and get SL endorsement in her ambition to become the deputy SG of the UN, a new position mooted by her. Radhika is a true Eelam stalwart. She risks her position to achieve the Eelam dream for her race. The place is now flooded with Malaysian, South African and Sri Lankan Tamils. Sri Lanka’s quota of UN recruits is virtually 100% Tamils, since the advent of Radhika, Naveen Pillai and Nambiar to the high echelons.

Tamil politicians brought Terrorism in Sri Lanka. Innocent and poor Tamils and Sinhalese suffered from untold difficulties. Financial and Political activities of Tamils are under investigation allover the world now.
The day will come very soon noone belive any word of Tamils anywhere in the world. We must understand grass are growing faster than a tree which give us fruits. The activities of Prominent Tamils aginst Sri Lanka Government
lead to Diaspora Tamils to the disaster and not Sri Lankan People.

Dear M.L.D. Mahindapala,…….Very thoughtful of you to inform the general public how certian UN or affiliated agencies/officials, behave when conducting UN sponsored work.
I am surprised both female tamil individuals have gone out of their way to discredit a sovereign state, without knowing the facts, and also subjects which NOT fall within their purview.
Hope your insightful article will help authorities to conduct invdstigations as to the impartiality of these two individuals. These are ONLY two we know of..There could be many more. Thanks again for keeping us informed.

At least in future, GOSL need to be careful of those who represent Sri Lanka. This is a woman who bit the hand which fed her. I remember this woman wailing when “head of state” Prabakaran was found dead in the lagoon. She is unfit for her role as her prime concern is to discredit Sri Lanka.

Radhika C., being a well educated Vellalah Tamil, knows the facts of the whole case only too well. She is only interested in saving herself from any criticism from the ltte rump, the Tamil Diaspora & Tamil Nadu leaders. She is caught between a rock & a hard place and is only interested in her own survival & the misplaced Tamil aspirations.
However, her father Raju Coomaraswamy, thought differently and had a much more balanced approach to so called ‘Tamil problems’. We wonder whether he would be proud of his daughter in the manner she handles her responsibilities toward the State of Sri Lanka. Her lack of integrity & honesty are appalling. Perhaps her fear of what happened to Dr Neelan Tiruchelvam, her mentor, is the cause of her weakness. In that case, she should not undertake the type of work she does, but seek other roles that do not impinge on the politics of member states of the UN.
The least she can do now to set the record straight re the false statement in the circular from her department at the UN is to insist that a second circular be sent by her Malaysian Tamil crew stating the truth, that the CH-4 video is a PROVEN FAKE.
Is Radhika a citizen of the state of Sri Lanka ? In that case, she has a legal responsibility to protect the state of Sri Lanka by exposing the truth, doesn’t she ? Frankly, Radhika, we are not proud of you at all. Set the record straight and act with honesty & integrity in the future, and we will change our opinion of you. But, it will be hard to forget that you badly let down Sri Lanka, the country that nurtured your entire family.
I have no idea whether your Department in the UN comes under Ms Navi Pillai. If it does, why has the UN allowed two Tamil women such prominence in the Human Rights sector ?

I hope this Ch.4 video issue is resolved soon. Its as if Sri Lanka is still fighting the LTTE albeit in a different form. Shows the power of international bodies like the UN and the power of the British media to have a negative impact on countries in another part of the world. If for example Sri Lanka TV showed footage of atrocities by NATO in Libya the innocent civilians killed their as a result of actions taken by Britain, France and US. Would the UN lay war crimes charges against these countries? I think NOT!!!!
